Rated 5 out of 5 by Ma90 from Amazing I'm in love with this jacket. I love colors and everything about this jacket. Anything time I wear this jacket everyone asks where I got it and tell them to buy one because it keeps me warm, dry and it's comfortable. I had the green jacket and after few days of wearing It I ordered the red one as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sue00 from Just what I needed I was looking for a raincoat with some insulation for the cooler days. This jacket fits the bill. I like the longer length in the back. My only issue is that the sleeves run very long.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LSKN from Size up for the best fit I really like this jacket and plan to make it my primary winter and cold rain weather jacket. It was just a bit on the small side, despite the fact that all of the other Columbia clothes I have in large fit fine. I find that their outerwear in general runs small, which really doesn't make sense since a lot of times I need to layer a bulkier garment under the jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeeLee from Super Cute in a Rainstorm Height: 5ft 2in Chest: 36 D Color: Shark Melange The color is great and the lining feels buttery soft on my hands. I feel kind of fancy wearing it like I deserve high quality things. The seal on the zippers is top notch. The adjustable hood is deep and fits my hair when it's in a bun or pony. The hood also has adjustable toggles so I can fit it to my head when it's windy. I live in a place that is CRAZY rainy in winter and this has been a life saver! The insulation is perfect as it's not too thick on warm days and good if you layer a sweater on colder days. I am VERY happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Motate from Perfect jacket for inclement weather! Columbia came through again. This jacket fits perfectly. I purchased this for our Alaskan cruise this spring. It's exactly what I wanted...not too heavy or bulky. If we do run into inclement weather I know this jacket will keep me warm & dry!

Rated 5 out of 5 by NeeNee3 from Good to Have Rain Jacket The insulation is a plus. I do wish there was an interior security pocket. Beautiful color (dark ivy melange) and style. I love how the pockets disappear into the fabric. The quality feels durable. A must have if you're looking for a rain jacket that provides a little warmth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hooblermummy from Exactly what I needed Ever since moving to California I have been looking for a proper raincoat that is insulated (but not too warm) and waterproof (as opposed to water resistant). In my research it came down to this coat and one at another store, but what made me choose this was the fact that it is breathable. The reviews were also much better on this coat, although like others I found the sleeves to be long. Not a deal breaker though, in fact it's great at keeping your hands warm. I haven't yet tested it in the rain but I trust that it will hold out as I have owned Columbia products in the past and they perform well in adverse conditions. Definitely recommend this coat, I got it in the green color and it's beautiful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Yeva from Great functional product! I bought this to withstand the rainy weather of the Pacific Northwest, and this jacket is wonderful for that! It is waterproof and is insulated so you can keep warm AND dry at the same time! The small fits me well, though is a little loose. An XS may have been better for me, but this works well and gives me ability for movement, which is fine too. Overall, I highly recommend this product for chilly, rainy areas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Thair21 from Protect! I like this insulated jacket because I thought it would be more light but it is very comfy and keeps you warm enough, I ask for this jacket in color: Dark Ivy Melange, and it is a little bit different than the photo, but it is ok!

Rated 5 out of 5 by April12345 from Nice, warm, rain coat This is a really nice jacket. I ordered for my mother, but I wished I ordered my size! She wanted a detachable hood, this hood cannot be removed, so I returned it. If if had been my size I definitely would have kept it. It was very cozy feeling, and the size was as expected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jlnlisa from Rainjacket without much noise This jacket is terrific, not bulky, not plastic-y in feel. Keeps the rain off and the hood is great in proportion. Large enough to keep the rain out without feeling confined or that your face is too exposed. I wear a size L top and the L fits well even across my size 14 hips. I thought it would be a little less slick; my should-strap purse slipped off my shoulder easily. I switched and wore the purse like a cross body, which for me is not comfortable, but stopped the issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Shellz5 from Bulky Top Pine Insulated Rain Jacket - Women’s For reference, I’m 5”07’, 118pds, 32 chest, 26 waist and my arm length is longer than average. I purchased thiis jacket in size SMALL. My opinions regarding fit and functionality: Pro: * good arm length for someone like me * good jacket length for the rain; covers your backside * hood covers your neck and face well * keeps you warm * the gray color has a nice “plaid-like” pattern Con: * tends to be bulky on the front area around midsection. I don’t like layering since this jacket keeps me warm. Even without layering up, this jacket looks bulky on me. Makes me look like I’m 4 months pregnant or something. * the fabric is “stiff” & tends to be on the “louder” side of noise as I move around in it. Like moving a tarp or something. Definitely can’t sneak in late quietly in class wearing this jacket! :-) Overall, it’s a good jacket but if you’re looking for something more form fitting, I don’t recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BevFR from Rainproof and warmth I have only worn this jacket a few times but am liking it better each time I wear it. I wanted a jacket that had some warmth to it and also was rainproof. I have a sister's trip planned to the Netherlands in April and wanted a jacket that would fit that trip. I think I have found it. It does bunch up when it is zippered and I am sitting down but hoping that gets less stiff the more I use it. All in all, I am happy with it. Thank you!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Paigerb from Ridiculously long sleeves! I really wanted to love this jacket - but the sleeves are about 4 inches longer than I need. The shoulder area was also super bulky-more like what you would expect from a men’s jacket. I am so disappointed in the fit of this coat. I am returning it ASAP. My search continues ....

Rated 5 out of 5 by LJL77 from Perfect Rain jacket! I love my new jacket. Perfect for all the rain we get where I live. With a bit of warmth too since I am always cold. I sometimes layer my fleece jacket under too for added warmth. Great fit and function (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jb06 from Perfect jacket for a cold fall! We've had quite a rainy and cold fall here in PA, so I've worn this jacket daily for the past several weeks. It keeps me warm and dry, even with temps in the 30s and 40s. I was actually quite surprised at how warm this jacket keeps me...I thought I would need an extra layer on, but even with just a long sleeved t-shirt, I've stayed warm. I love the warm lined pockets, too! The jacket is quite comfortable, and the size is perfect (I ordered the same size I wear in my Columbia winter coat). Columbia products can't be beat, in my opinion. They're built to last and the company stands by their products. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tasper513 from Favorite Coat I adore this coat! It is warm, it is long in all the right places, and it has all the great functionality you would expect from Columbia. I have long arms and torso and the Medium fits perfectly. Size chart was right on. I like the longer back to keep the breeze from hitting bare skin when you bend over. I love the warm pockets with fleece lining. That is the best! The color looks more red in the photo than it is. I would call the actual color more of a wine purple/red. Pretty but not as expected. May have gone with a different color had I known.

Rated 3 out of 5 by kcSunshine9 from Missing Essential Features The jacket was high quality and well made, but missing useful features like a two-way zipper and an inside phone pocket. The outer material was very stiff and made rustling sounds. It was warm and cozy, just not as functional as the 5-year-old Columbia waterproof, fleece-lined parka I am trying to replace. My older size Small parka fit perfectly, THIS size small was too narrow and tight in the shoulders when reaching forward. I am 5'8" and 120 lbs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tanya44 from Great Jacket but runs large. I'm happy with the quality but I haven't gotten a chance to test it in the elements because I need a smaller size. I'm 5'2 and 115lbs. I measured myself, and according to the size chart I was right in the middle of small. However when I got it, it's much looser and longer than I hoped. Even with layers on it's fairly loose. The sleeves are also about 4-5 inches longer than I need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WendyB from Women's Top Pine Insulated Rain Jacket Needed a rain jacket for our fishing trip to Alaska and I could not have made a better choice than the Top Pine Insulated Rain Jacket! Coming from Arizona and it's scorching summer heat, I was concerned about being cold while fishing far off shore in the Pacific Ocean...But, I did not want to be too warm while working hard to reel in our big fish. This jacket provided the perfect balance of warmth and ventilation! In addition, it worked like a champ keep me warm and dry during the bursts of rain we experienced. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a little warmth and a lot of protection from the rain. I purchased a size small in the Red Wine Melange. Color is a "weathered" lighter shade of burgundy which was very appealing. I am 5', 105 lbs, so the small was loose but not overwhelming. I returned the XS even though the fit was more flattering because I wanted the extra room to layer and to move that I got with the size small.
