Disappointingly unwearable
The sizing of Columbia Sportswear is off. I've found it to be on the small side of other brands. I purposely ordered a 1X, because of it, and it is still too small. I also ordered, to be assured of a warm jacket in a timely manner, one on sale from another company, and it fit great, size XL. So I never got to wear it, but it seems like it would be fine. Love the color and style. Because CS charges postage on returned items, I will be taking a trip downtown in my new, well-fitting jacket, to return it. I have other clothing from CS, and they last for sure. However, they aren't that flattering, but that's okay, they're for hiking and exercise.

Great Maine Winter coat
This coat is extremely lightweight, and very warm. I wasn't sure how such a lightweight coat could keep me warm in NE Maine, but it does. I use it out playing with my son, shoveling snow, snowshoeing, sledding and soon skiing. I wore only a normal long sleeve shirt, nothing heavy. I will buy again!

No Regrets!
I love that this jacket is so light weight, and that it does not have the bulk of most winter coats. It still provides the warmth of a heavier coat and also keeps you dry and cozy on rainy and windy days. The inside pocket is a nice touch to stow away your phone, and the outside pockets are deep and roomy. It is a beautiful jacket, eye catching, and of excellent quality. I can’t wait to wear this jacket this fall/winter in the northwest!
This jacket is lightweight. It’s my warmest jacket I have. Looks nice. I love the hood it’s more a fitted style. It feels like I don’t have a jacket on. I don’t care for wearing heavy outerwear. I’m ready...bring it on, for a cold wet Fall/Winter!
I normally wear a 1x but I did go up to a 2x so I can layer.

Excellent Jacket
I have bought it for my wife. It is very comfortable and light jacket. At -8 С, if you put a sweater under your jacket, it will not be cold, but still this jacket is especially good for not very low temperatures. The color is very beautiful. Love Love Love!
This jacket checks all of my boxes! It gives me enough room to wear bulky items under it, if I need to. It weighs almost nothing and packs down into a compressible travel cube that I carry with me everywhere (I travel for work). It is so light yet so warm! It cuts wind like nobody's business. It is the replacement for another Columbia down jacket I had that the fabric was so fragile. Glad to report that this fabric has taken abuse and doesn't show a single mark or snag!

Great for places with large temperature change!
This product is thin, and not bulky, but keeps you warm when it is below freezing, and is also not too warm when it warms up to the 50's. I have been wearing Columbia products for years, and find products like the Bugaboo to be great, but bulky, and too warm when it is not FREEZING or you aren't outside for extended periods of time. Lightweight, nice looking, and I got so many compliments on how it looked nice and was warm as well. The best Columbia product I have purchased ever!

I love this jacket so much, it keeps you warm and is a great material. All though the pictures makes it look like a high puffy jacket but it is quite thin actually and it runs quite large. But I still love mine.

Blue Heron Color Wrong on Website
The Blue Heron color is very different on the actual coat than what is listed on the website. It is not the deep pretty blue shown in the photo. It is a Turquoise or Aquamarine color. I made the mistake of wearing the item before I decided that I really hated the color. Now I am unable to return it.

Amazingly Warm

This jacket is great if you are looking for a thin coat. However, I thought it would be warmer for the price. It is very, very thin and makes my back cold. I have numerous jackets and items from Columbia and this is the first one I'm "meh" about.

Thin and lightweight but SO warm
I was skeptical when I received this jacket. I live in Central NYS where winter can be brutal. It's amazingly warm without the bulk! The shiny lining is not only fun, but surprisingly insulating. Great technology! As a plus size girl, I sure don't need the extra bulk

I use to buy the interchangeable coats but wanted something with less bulk and lighter weight but still keeps me warm. This coat does work. I normally wear a 2X but this coat runs a little small so I sized up to a 3X. The larger size allows to add layers incase its cold out. When I first started wearing it some of the feathers came out but not enough to be concerned. So I ordered my daughter and husband the same style of coat.

Thin jacket
I like that this jacket is thinner and not as bulky. It isn't as warm as I was expecting. Not a Minnesota winter coat. I have several Columbia coats in 2x that fit perfect. This coat in a 2x is very roomy in the arms, but the hip area is a little tight, especially when sitting. I would like to size up, but Columbia makes exchanges hard to do and the color I purchased is out of stock.

I needed a new winter jacket. I’d had a Columbia two piece, but wanted just one. This jacket keeps me warm enough to wear just a t-shirt underneath. I love the chin guard—it seals up the front of the jacket so that I haven’t needed to wear a scarf!! Kudos to whomever thought to add that to the jacket!!

Ready for winter in Iowa
This coat fits great and keeps you warm without excess bulkiness. The sleeves may be slightly long but I can comfortably wear a sweater or hoodie under the coat without feeling like the Michelin Man. Finding a well-fitted plus-size coat can be difficult. I wish I would have purchased a Columbia coat years ago.

Happiness is a Warm Jacket!
Finally, a jacket for this curvy woman that was just what I was looking for. I went up a size to 2X which is roomy but great for layering. I am size 14/16, 5'7", and jackets in size 1X have been a bit tight but I think I would of been fine in a 1X in this particular jacket. Even so, I am happy with the 2X, it looks good and feels even better. So lightweight and not confining at all. Toasty warm too! I would like to give kudos to Columbia for making plus size jackets that have the same style as regular sizes. Some of us just want a nice fitting solid color jacket with a simple hood. Thank you!

The Warmest Jacket for the CO Rockies
I just received this jacket a few weeks ago and it is already my favorite jacket. I ordered it one size larger than I normally wear thinking that Columbia sizing can run a little small. It is a little big on me, but I can fit a lot of layers underneath when I go skiing. My recommendation is you order the size you normally wear, unless you want to fit a lot of layers underneath (sweaters, sweatshirts, etc.) then go up one size. We have had some single digit temperatures and I was completely warm in this jacket. I cannot speak to its durability yet as I have only had this a short time. The color I ordered was the salmon color, but when it arrived it was medium to dark pink. I have grown used to the color and even like it now, as it matches my ski helmet!

I love this jacket. It's lightweight, water resistant, not movement-restrictive (read: roomy enough for underlayers), and is a nice looking winter cut. The coldest I've had the opportunity to test it at thus far is a 30-degree morning on the river, and I was perfectly comfortable.

Instant Satisfaction
This jacket is all you need to run around. Instant warmth, but not hot; soft lined pockets; ok to wear in a rain shower...I am surprised there's NO soaking in. I'm sure it would get wet in a downpour, but this jacket isn't made for that. It's my favorite jacket in the closet.

Could be longer
Love this jacket. Fits great and is very warm. The only thing I wish is that it was a little longer. Sits right above the hips and can ride up when moving. Two inches longer and this jacket would be amazing.
