Women’s Voodoo Falls 590 TurboDown™ Mid Jacket is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Right This jacket is has all the features I was looking for in keeping me warm this winter. It is flattering while keeping me from a getting a chill.. I’ve worn it in 20 F degree weather with high winds and it did the job. The princess seams has a slimming effect both in front and back. It is lightweight and the length hits my mid thigh just right. The sleeve length is also just right and happy with no thumb holes. The only negative is the sleeve diameter, it fits me but when wearing my bulky polar watch it’s a bit of struggle to slip my arm through. The bottom has a draw cord to tighten when weather gets extreme which is a nice feature.I am happy this purchase and looking forward to colder weather. For reference I am 5 foot 3 inches and weigh 115 lbs. Small fits me well even with layers underneath.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was skeptical at first, but... I tried it today when the temperature cooled down enough to be dubbed a bit cold (-7°C in the morning, real feel -14°C with the wind) and I pretty much was surprised with how warm it kept me given how thin and light it is! I was dressed in thin layers too. The hood stayed in place despite the wind. The zipper worked better than I expected. My only complaint so far is the absence of comfort cuffs (with thumb holes). I think I will be fine with it until late December/ early January but it might also keep me warm all winter, I will let you know! I'm not a big fan of bulky jackets so this one is doing a good job with pleasing me so far! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Purchase of 2017 This year I got really into hiking and as the weather began to get colder I started shopping around for a new winter coat. I bought this coat and tested it out the same night. It happened to be a night that was really chilly and it was pouring rain - however this jacket kept me so warm and completely dry. It's also super cute and flattering. I am so happy with my purchase!! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A piece of GREATNESS I purchased this coat and was very pleased. The omni-heat lining is on the inside extends the entire lenght of the coat. Its lightweight but I'm sure it'll serve its purpose just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, dry, and will squish into my carry-on I ordered the Turbo mid-jacket in Pond. The color Pond is a gray-green/slightly turquoise color. It was not too-gray, which was great. The coat is very light-weight but really did a great job of keeping me warm in Portland OR in low 30's-40's weather. Open, it was not too hot for the low 50 degree/wet days. I found that this jacket would squash into my carry-on purse/bag for my return flight. A big plus. The pockets are at a good length for my long arms. I ordered the XL based on Columbia's hip sizes. It was the right choice. I am short (5'3). The coat hits at my knees. I downgraded the quality because I have trouble with the zipper about 2 out of 3 times. It's getting better with use, but gets stuck in the bottom position. It is a YKK zipper. This coat can only be zipped from the bottom. It was a great purchase for the Oregon weather in March and some easy hiking/walking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Feathers poke out but oh so comfy I love the jacket. I can't take it off. But there are feathers poking out of it everywhere. I already have a little hole in the front where the feathers are wanting to come out. I got a XS and there's room to wiggle. This jacket is great, soft, warm but I think the quality could have been a tad better so this doesn't happen. Please don't sacrifice the quality for profit Columbia, your products are very loved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aw some My new FAVORITE coat! Love how light and warm and the extra length is great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as bulky yet still warm. I've had a Columbia coat before and liked it. When I first got this down coat I thought it seemed thin and not as much down as the old coat. However, I gave it a try in some very cold Michigan weather (5 degrees with -10 windchill) and it was surprisingly warm. The new Omni shield seems to do the trick without the bulk I was used to. It's a stylish winter down with a great color. The only thing I can say that could be better is the hood. It's not very warm at all but then I usually wear a hat anyway. Overall a very good cold weather coat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Warm I was happily surprised at how warm the jacket was..the product description said it was warm with the reflective technology and all but when I received it, it was really lightweight and I was a little worried about how warm it would be. So far it has held up through what has been the coldest days of the year. We'll have to see how it does in the snow. My main concern now is that the feathers keep popping out at random places and I hope that this won't be a bigger issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, Long but not too long, Comfortable Love this jacket! It's definitely warm... spent over an hour outside in 5 degrees and was a little chilled when I got home but not too bad during. It's easy to wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good! I live in Minnesota and we haven't had SUPER cold weather yet. I have been very warm in the weather we have had so far. This is the first longer jacket I have had and I really like it so far! It is very nice looking on, somewhat slimming in fact. The sleeves could be a wee bit longer perhaps but that is my only negative comment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and warm! I received this coat last week. Just in the nick of time. I live in Washington, DC, and this coat has kept me warm for the last week in 30/40 degree temperatures. It is lightweight enough I can also pack it in my large work purse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't be fooled by the thinness! I have been wanting a long down jacket for years now because they just provide so much extra warmth. At the same time I didn't want to look trapped in a overly puffy jacket with no mobility. Then I found this jacket.. Although it feels lightweight and thin to touch, once you put it on, you will not be complaining about being cold! True to size and I think it's slimming with the way it's designed. The only thing I would like is a little longer sleeves to protect my wrist/hands more but I'm also 5'10" so it's understandable. Love the jacket, love the price, worth the purchase!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Light jacket that looks great but could be a lot better I actually really loved the way this coat looked on me. I'm 5'8 and about 140 pounds and long coats tend to run big on my top half and tighter on my hips. This coat fit really well everywhere except, strangely, the arms were a lot larger in proportion to the rest of the jacket. It was like they put Large sized arms on a small-medium sized jacket. Even so, the coat was sleek and slimming which I appreciated. Here's my take: Pros: lightweight, looks great, warmish, soft material, good color options, has some down filling. Cons: not waterproof or water-resistant (Columbia has a distinction between those two), a bit disproportional in the arms, not very warm (I live in Chicago but come from Portland. This coat would not be warm enough for either place...and Portland isn't known for being too cold) My advise is this: If you are going to spend this much money, get a real coat. This is a jacket which looks and feels great but it's just not a winter coat in my opinion, which is what I personally was looking for. I would love to revisit this coat and even buy it eventually if I go live in a warmer place where it doesn't rain but for now, it's just not a legitimate contender for a winter coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new mid jacket! Absolutely love my new mid jacket. It's my first mid length jacket and it fits perfectly! I usually wear either a medium or large in jackets and I went with a medium and it's the best fit. Very light but also keeps me super warm.
