Women’s Zenith Vista™ II Trench is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it This coat keeps me very warm and keeps the wind out. It is a little bulky around the collar with the hood but not enough to remove the hood. It is very fashionable and I feel classy in it. I would highly recommend this coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish Coat with Ski Jacket Features This coat fit the bill with ski jacket features like Omni-Heat, hood, fitted wrists and a zippered panel underneath the buttons to protect from the wind and cold while looking stylish with dress clothes. The wind and rain repellency are great. Being 5'5' and 128 lbs., the medium fit perfectly with enough room for a bulkier layer (sweater/shirt combo) underneath.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeping arms warm The one thing I have noticed is that my arms are cold. I thought at first the sleeves didn't contain the magic dots, but they do. I find that if I am shoveling snow, my arms are very, very warm but as I drive to work and then walk from the car to the office, my arms feel cold. I don't have an explanation but feel anyone purchasing this item should be aware.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Winter Coat I live in Chicago, and this year the weather has been extremely brutal. I order this coat with the expectation from the reviews to be toasty warm. While I would not say toasty warm, it did deliver on the other points. One, it does resist wind and rain/snow. Two, the Omni heat part keeps you warm while active in the coat, but if you are standing on a platform outside waiting for a train this feature does not work as well. Three, the extended zip up neck is fantastic in keeping you warm, no need for a scarf. The coat is very fashionable, and not bulky like other winter coats. My only warning is that if you want to stay toasty warm make sure to wear wool sweaters underneath. Lastly, I bought the Mercury plaid and it is much more blue than the picture. Which I really liked!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am enjoying my coat! The coat is warm, fits nicely, and looks good too! I am 5'10", with very long arms and the sleeves fit fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great winter coat I would recommend this coat to anyone looking for an everyday coat to wear to work as well as wear out on the town. I first ordered a large, which is what I normally wear in most jackets and coats, and it was way too big. I sent it back and exchanged it for the medium which fits perfectly. I love this coat and have rec'd a lot of compliments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Jacket I love this jacket. I've only had it a few days so far but it is great and warm and comfortable. Definately worth the money and worth giving a try.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not quite what I'd hoped... I've been searching for a flattering-yet-warm winter coat and although this coat is adorable, it does not qualify as a "winter" coat, at least not for Chicago. It's uninsulated and not wind-proof. I may have kept this jacket for spring (it'd be a great transitional jacket), but the soft fabric would be a magnet for pet hair. All that said, I can't stress how cute this jacket is! And it has all the usual thoughtful design elements from Columbia... inner pockets, removable hood, extra cuffs and placket to keep you warm. Just not quite warm enough. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chicago Approved I bought this coat for my daughter who walks to school; about four blocks from the house. She received her coat in November 2013 and has worn it daily. Since Christmas it has snowed at lease twice a week and we've experienced a polar vortex. My daughter says the Omni Heat keep her very warm. This coat is waterproof so she stays dry. Its worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great winter coat! It has been an exceptionally cold and windy winter, but so much more comfortable with this coat. I love that it has cuffs in the sleeves and an interior zipper to help keep the cold wind at bay. The length is perfect. It is a bit big on me, but I wanted to be sure I had room for layers. I'm a size 4 and the small felt a little roomy. I really wanted this coat in the Sea Salt color, but could never find it available in my size. So, I ordered the Mercury Plaid and didn't like. I sent it back and ordered the black plaid instead, and like it much better. The best thing about this coat (besides warmth) is that it's not bulky. Functional and looks great, too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great work and casual jacket I was looking for a jacket for both work and casual wear. This one fit the bill. Like the weight of the jacket and length. I also appreciate the cuffs on the sleeves-wind cannot blow up them. Only negative comment is that the jacket is a bit boxy and big toward the bottom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my London Trip - sleek, warm and dry. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Zenith Vista Trench II in Sea Salt Plaid color, size M (I am 5'4"). I wore it to London and Paris in Dec for 10 days at temperature between 50 and 38 F. It was perfect for the ever changing wet weather in there; it kept me warm and dry while looking stylish. Inside, I only have to wear a long sleeve shirt, scarf and a pair of Columbia's Trail Summit™ Running Glove (with touch screen compatibility). The coat is good at colder temperature when I am back in USA, just need to add warm layer inside. The thermal reflective lining works like a charm!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish comfy vista trench Purchased the Vista Trench in advance of incredibly cold weather for daughter in Savannah, Ga. She loves the Vista Trench... great length and weight not too too bulky and enough room for sweater underneath. More stylish than typical Columbia coat, is dressier than other Columbia coats and should appeal to many more customers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for! I couldn't decide between a wool pea coat and a technical coat, so luckily I found this! I needed something I could wear every day, but especially professionally. I wore this recently in 20 degree weather in Cleveland and it kept me really warm and blocked the wind well. I am 5'8" and 135 lbs and it's a little roomy, but not too big. It has plenty of room for layering. The only problem I have found so far is it collects dog hair really quickly, but so does a wool coat, so I was expecting that somehow anyway. This also fits really nicely with the belt and looks great. My husband likes the look too and he was pretty adamant about getting wool :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved this trench coat! I was surprised at how heavy this coat was. I am always cold, and this coat blocks the wind and keeps me perfectly warm. I liked that the zipper under the storm flap only came to my waist while the trench actually goes to my knees; this allows for better movement when walking, yet the coat doesn't let in too much of the cold air. Also loved the inside media pocket with the slit for headphones. It fits true to size, too. I'm very pleased with this trench.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coat. Got for Christmas...very warm. Belt cinches waist. I requested large size so that I could wear layers underneath. (Some coats I have are medium.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True to size and very cute! I need a warm, rain resistant jackets for my business trips to Oregon. This jacket arrived within two days and I love it. Fits great and is stylish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small across the shoulders I love the look of this jacket but I have broad shoulders and the medium was too small across my shoulders yet fit everywhere else. Unfortunately, I had to return it and I am sure the large will be too big overall. It feels like it would be warm and I love the neckline.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from gift I bought this jacket for my wife and she loves it. It fit perfect and she says it's very warm, it has very nice warm deep pockets and even comes with a cell phone pocket inside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I am so pleased with this coat. It is light weight but keeps me warm on those cold winter days when I am outside on the playground with my students. The hood is functional but not bulky. It looks good with a pair of jeans but is dressy enough to wear over skirts and dresses. Love, love, love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very stylish and functional This is a GREAT looking coat-very flattering, not big and bulky like most warm coats. Could pass for a nice trench coat for country club casual.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket! I wore this jacket in 26 degree NYC weather. It was snowing out. The jacket's waterproof feature was great, I did get cold though. Not 100% sold on the omni heat idea. -But true to size, great hood, and really comfortable. The jacket, although not bulky, is very heavy. Also, just in case anyone is wondering, the mercury color - is more blue than grey. Great jacket over all, probably better for above freezing temps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best coat I ever bought This coat is wonderful. Fits great, comfortable. Keep you nice and warm and isn't big and bulky. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great classic winter coat I bought this jacket not fully knowing what I was getting. When it arrived, I was so impressed that it was not like a typical jacket I would expect from Columbia! The fabric was great and having the Omni-Heat technology inside is fantastic for when it's cold outside but you don't want to wear a puffy ski jacket. I bought the black color and was surprised that I didn't really notice any logos on the outside though if you look closely, there is one on the sleeve. The only thing I was a little disappointed with (and I've noticed this with all Columbia coats) is that it was a little wider than I had anticipated. I bought a small and I'm probably a size 4 in dresses and it was a few inches too wide for my liking. If I can get it tailored, I will but otherwise, there is a belt to cinch it in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good It seems to do what it's supposed to: be waterproof and warm. I've not tested it in freezing temps, but in about 40 degrees it's good. It looks good on, and I usually can't wear belted coats, so that's a plus. The black plaid is attractive, and just enough pattern not to be boring. I usually wear a large, and this is a little sung through the arms, but it's fine with thinner layers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coat! I have to say I just LOVE this coat! It was exactly what I was looking for. I like how it has the zipper closer as well as the buttons. The cuff sleeves are also great to have. I feel warm, comfortable and it looks great at the same time. Every day I wear it I get a new compliment on how nice it is. When I tell them it's a Columbia coat they are actually surprised. Thank you Columbia, nice job on this coat!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Larger than expected I ordered a Large in Sea Salt Plaid. I like the coat, but it's too big and the color is a bit lighter than I expected. I called about an exchange and they are sending me a medium in Mercury Plaid. The woman on the phone was so helpful, and mentioned that she bought the Mercury Plaid for her sister and also thought the Sea Salt was too light. It is a nice jacket. Can't wait to get the medium...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coat! Love this coat! Local stores did not carry this in an XS so I was nervous to order without knowing if it would fit. I am 5'1'' and weigh 105 lbs. The XS fit perfectly! Its warm, but still is so cute and can be worn dressed up or casual. Versatility and function make this a winner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love love the sea salt plaid! Rare do I order something and am so pleased that I actually leave a product review. Soft soft soft is the plaid material. Internal omni fabric is light weight and slips over most all materials with ease. Just cute, flattering, and trendy. Love the tall collar w/o the snap-on hood. Most large Columbia shirts/ fleece fit me spot on or a little snug. Ordered this in a large, and I have plenty of room to wear a chunky hoodie or sweater underneath. Can def rock a biz casual look, and probably could have gone with a medium if I wanted a more forming fit. Very pleased!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from REALLLY like style, but In my opinion, not warm enough for winter in Minnesota. Probably good for fall or spring. Two issues with the coat: biggest problem is the stiff collar that is so tall from the collarbone up, it literally went over my mouth when zipped all the way up, and I am 5'9", second problem is the Omni Heat lining does extend down much of the length of the coat, but the coat does not fit closely below the rear because of the stiff fabric (Omni Heat material not stiff), so Omni Heat lining there is only helpful if you sit down. Did not keep coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features and very warm I needed a winter coat for work travel that was functional but still cute and shapely....this coat does the job!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly What I Wanted! I was looking for a winter jacket that I could wear as part of business/business casual attire. I own several wool dress coats that never kept me warm enough or could stand up to winters in Central New York. This jacket is exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the black and couldn't be happier. It's heavy without being bulky, and the omni-heat is awesome. I went a size up to accommodate heavier sweaters or a blazer, and it fits great. I'm confident this coat will be well worth the investment.
