Rated 1 out of 5 by from Best jacket ever owned I received the original Bugaboo as a Christmas gift 30 years ago!!! That jacket lasted me 20 years!!! I only got rid of it because the fleece around the sleeves started fraying (donated it to a homeless shelter). Twenty years, 3 states and six cities later, all I can say is it was the best coat ever!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay Jacket This jacket is just okay. The styling is attractive but execution of the design is lacking. Unless you are a giraffe the high collar is bothersome. The jacket runs small so purchasers should be prepared to consider sizing up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gift I love the Bugaboo jacket. I got my first one in 2007 and it sold me in the Columbia brand. I have since owned many variations. My wife got me the black as a birthday gift, and it's really great. The red zipper accents on the fleec are fantastic! The jacket is very warm! I wore it on a hike in 17 degree weather through Appalachia and remained warm throughout my body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally made a good jacket The heavy layered design gives solid protection from harsh elements entering in from the waist to the neck; with a very durable feel to it. It reminds me of the coats I wore growing up in the Oregon mountains. Much better than the Michelin man looking design Columbia has gone with for way too long. Those wimpy high priced Michelin man coats lack solid protection, get tore up easily, and are ugly on top of it. This Bugaboo is solid, built for the outdoors, and looks good. My only recommendation is that a hood add on would be great, and a necessity for some people depending on where they live.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bugaboo I love it but where the heck did you put the hood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally!! I've been waiting for Columbia to release the original "Bugaboo" for a long time! Had one in high school (white, neon green,) and wore it for years after! This couldn't be any more like the original! This fits true to size (I'm 6'3") and an XL fits me perfectly. Very warm coat, very sharp looking! I would also love to see a release of the original "Whirlibird" the one with the high collar and down filled zip in liner! 2 very classic jackets that don't get enough credit! Great Job Columbia!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like It !!! Just what I was looking for. Color, style, has pockets, shorter length, no hood and 3 point interchange system. I ordered the Blue Macaw color came in same as shown. I'm 6' 240 XL size runs a little small compared to my 4 other Columbia Jackets. Not undersized enough to get a larger size. I hope this review helps with your decision.
