Rated 5 out of 5 by Patty52 from Warm & Leightweight My husband is always cold, wearing multiple layers. Wearing this base layer, he no longer needs as many layers to be warm. It isn’t bulky, breathes well, and overall is a great addition to his winter wardrobe. He doesn’t like his clothes too snug so ordered up a size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Iowaman from Warm This is very warm. Worn on day of 30 below and it kept me warm. The problem is that I was working and very active and the shirt kept riding up and the bottom of the shirt would end up halfway up my torso. I would have to keep pulling it down and tucking it back in. If you are going to do a lot of reaching than I do not recommend but fine for walking outside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grumpy57 from Greatest Base-Layer Shirt I Have Experienced! Ordered this for a trip to Aspen/Snowmass area for Christmas week. We had all kinds of activities including a 4-hour adventure tour on snowmobiles. This base-layer shirt functioned wonderfully in every setting, it is well-made and helped keep me comfortably warm for hours, even in 9 degree weather. Both the omni-heat and omni-wick technologies are wonderful. How good is it? If I somehow lost this item today, I would order the same as a replacement - yes, it is that good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by paco1038 from Exciting base layer I'm very excited about this shirt. It is very stretchy and therefore does not restrict movement at all. The omni-heat seems to definitely add warmth to an otherwise mid-weight layer. Feels durable, but I have not put it to the test as of yet. My only concern is that the omni-heat lining seems thinner than what I am used to. Not sure if this is to accommodate the stretch or what, but seems like they are more likely to flake off in the washer/dryer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AKRyanF from Great From the first time i tried it on, I loved this shirt. Fits great, is lightweight, and keeps you warm. It isn´t that warm all in itself, but is designed to warm you up while you´re working it seems. The other good thing is it isn´t uncomfortable when it starts to warm up outside.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Syncelli from Warm baselayer I got this baselayer shirt for large size. It feels a little snug but very warm. If I would get the next size it would be too big. The quality feels nice. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by WVUprofessor from Fits great, no itch The fit is great. The locations of the reflective fabric is perfect (back, chest & arms). The wicking fabric is also perfectly located (armpits). Particularly like that the collar is not too high up. I have a 17 in neck and this collar doesn't choke me like other brands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lynnja from Best base layer out there I LOVE the omni heat base layers. They offer so much warmth in a thin, soft and comfortable material. I won’t wear anything else on a cold day. Go with the midweight if you need extra warmth though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KA01 from Nice & Warm This is absolutley perfect for wearing under sports clothes in the winter, light enough that it doesn't bother you with bulkiness, but extra warm, highly recommended. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by MrBiem from Sleeves too long I am 5'7 and 170lbs with an athletic build. I bought a size medium and the fit is perfect around my chest and torso. The sleeves run way too long on these that it bunches up on my wrist. Tried a size small and the fit around my chest and torso isn't the same but sleeves were the right. This is a good baselayer that kept me warm and dry during many winter activities. Too bad about the sleeves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Keithp51 from Second Skin Fits right on your skin comfortable. Nice layer to hike in. I found it kept me warm and wicked enough of my perspiration away. The fabric moves with you so you do not feel constricted. I am enjoying this Columbia product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dutchboynd from Omni Heat Disaster!! 2x I have purchased no less than 2 dozen Columbia shirts - not all Omni Heat.. I just opened the Omni HeatI ordered most recently (Black). It is cut as a medium. This shirt was made in China. This is the second time this has occurred. The Omni Heat shirt I ordered initially (Black) was made in Sri Lanka and still fits perfectly. The Omni Heat order before this was grey - made in China -same issue -it is a medium cut but labeled L/G. I am done w/Columbia.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ColumbiaNerd from One of my favorites This is definitely one of my favorite base layers and I absolutely love the way it fits. It also does a very good job of protecting me from the elements and keeping me warm. It does run a bit small but that also depends on how tight of a fit your prefer. I enjoy a base layer that is more of a tight fit so it is perfect for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Phoenix from Sleeves long The sleeves on these shirts run very long. I don't recommend this product unless you have long arms, otherwise it's a very nice, comfortable and functional under layer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KriswithBiste from Excellent Skiing Baselayer I'm a slender athletic male that is outdoors a lot for my business - Coaching Skiing both indoors and outdoors using the Snow Biste equipment I design and manufacture. I also train ski racing as an active USSA Masters racer in the Far West division. The product fits perfectly, maybe a little tight for larger chested Med sized men. Its warm and comfortable and never feel damp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lynda47 from Great warmth and comfort Purchased this for my son-in-law. He loves it, and they had a sledding mishap, and were stuck out in the snow for an hour and he was happy he was wearing this top. Also, my daughter says it looks sexy on him!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bev100 from Omni Heat works! I got this for my husband, whose measurements indicate a medium would be plenty big. It wasn't. We went to a local store and tried on several of the Omni Heat baselayers and bought a large. The best value and fit was the zip up. It has a short "mock neck" type collar, and looks great. I bought one and was cozy down to about 42 degrees with a light sweater and light jacket. Could possibly have tolerated lower temperatures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by stevenchadg from midweight excellent If you are active in cool to cold temps then this is good to have.. As for the omni-heat factor you have to sort of work for it like stay active to keep you warm if you are just standing around or sitting around then you need to go up the scale to heavyweight or arctic base-layer. if you have got insulated clothing on like insulated snow paints...coveralls then this midweight would work for you it has work for me wearing insulated clothing in 30 degree weather. now for the fit the paints are kind of form fitting but its a comfortable type of fit. the top is kinda loose fitting not to baggie just the right kinda of loose fitting for me

Rated 5 out of 5 by Natasha14 from Just what he was wanting Got this set of base layer for my boyfriend to keep warm working outside and they work great. He stays warm and they are fitted enough that he can wear it under his everyday clothes, plus the material is soft not scratchy like long underwear. He was so happy with them, we purchased a second set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joe11 from Very warm I was impressed with the feel, look, fit and function. I've used under armour and Nike fitted baselayer shirts before, but this out performs them. It is a tight fit, but nowhere as tight as the others. Very comfortable and very warm. I usually have to wear a shirt and hoddie at home in the winters, but I wore just this shirt and I was fine! I will be purchasing several more. Wish I found this years ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Makemefly from Not so cold out I wore this base shirt in -4 degree weather. It fit well and worked very good as a base layer under my heavier sweater. The quality is very good and the material does not itch or bind. Overall I am very pleased with this shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SeaWags from Warm Base Layer Like the jackets with Omni-Heat, you can wear fewer layers when you wear this base layer. They are very warm, yet, when you go inside or get in the car, you do not cook or sweat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NCman from Nice base layer-sleeves longer than normal Used it last weekend on a rainy and cold backpack trip. It worked well. This is a great base layer shirt. I am a classic medium and the torso fits well (not too snug), but the sleeves are about an inch too long. Would get 5 stars if it fit appropriately. Nice garment overall.
