Rated 5 out of 5 by JoeCuervo from Great for cold weather I wear these under Jean's in minnesota winters down to about 15-20 degrees. They can keep me warm to that point and then its bibs time. Very lightweight and comfy also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dallasblonde from Light weight and warm for thickness Go for motorcycle riding in 50 with wind brings it down to 30. May need to get the heavy one for lower temp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BobbaLouie from Keeps The Bottom Bits Warm Without Bulk Been using these instead of the heavyweight version for Spring activities such as alpine skiing, snowshoeing and hiking. Wore these under "street clothes" during the winter. Kept me warm, but other than that, I forgot I had them on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SpeedyR from Wow! An amazing base layer! This product was recommended to me by friends for a base layer under dry suit scuba diving equipment. Here in the Pacific Northwest our dives are very chilly. We are required to wear a lot of extra weight to compensate for buoyancy so any extra puffy layers we can get rid of really helps. I shed some polar fleece and remained warm in 45 degree scuba conditions. Impressive! I have also used this product hiking and it also breathes well. It really is true that it uses your own heat to Keep you toasty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SkierGuy from Light, but warm and fits well Not as heavy as I would expect from a midweight, but it kept me dry and warm with a light midlayer and light snow pants in 5 degree weather, and didn't get too warm when the temperature went up. Also, the fabric is a little more flexible than others I have tried, so it slipped over my large heal bone rather easily, which is usually an effort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lynnja from Omni heat is the best! Omni heat base layers are the best for warmth in a light weight, comfortable fabric. The fabric is so soft and comfortable. I was surprised at how warm this lightweight base layer can get.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KA01 from Nice & Warm Once again as with the top, these are nice and warm to wear under sports clothes in the winter, not bulky and keep me extremely warm. Columbia never fails to impress me with their quality clothing and accessories. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by macskier from LOVE THEM Great pants. They keep you warm yet are still light weight. I own several pairs and would highly recommend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Lynx from Ankles are real tight The pair I received used rigid thread for the ankle finishing. I am skinny, I have a regular size ankle and I ordered the right size of the product (same as other Columbia products I have tried), still I was no able to get them past my ankles. Returning. I suggest columbia to pay better attention to these simple but key details, because a great fit product is no good if you cannot put it on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LPMcD from Comfortable and warm This is the second pair that I have purchased as a spare because I was so happy with the original. I'm 6'2" and 180 lbs and the large fits perfectly. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by MoRiverMike from Size I believe these are true to size but I don't like my baselayer tight. I ordered mediums which the sizing guide put me in the middle of. I thought they were too snug so I ordered a large and like the fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PDValdeFleur from Great Long-John Baselayer I love these Omni-Heat baselayers. They are light but do the job in cold weather, wicking away moisture and feel great against your skin. The slick inner surface makes them easier to get on and off than other brands and both the waistband and the cuffs hold their shape well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by yy1334 from Really good product with one caveat I really like the product, very comfortable, great as a base layer, warm without being oppressive. My only knock is I wish it was a bit more form fitting, I thought it would fit like under armor, it's not that tight, which may be good or bad depending on your usage. I'm 5'11 165lbs and got a Medium, the waist fits perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Columbia1400 from Thermal Tights Love the quality and kept me very warm. I recommend this to any hikes in the fall or up the mountains just because it also gave more stability for my knee. I hope to buy more in the future as I expand my hiking ventures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Smittie from Core warmth Fishing in Northern New England and Northern Quebec requires a quality base layer. These provide this with little weight, durability and functionality. Whether under waders while fly fishing cold water, in my Kayak, or snow shoeing no issue with keeping warm. Plus light weight which is important when flying into remote wilderness camp sights to fish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Phoenix from Very long! This under layer pant is very long in the legs, otherwise it's a nice fit. Again, wouldn't recommend unless you are tall or have long legs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jpowels from Excellent fit and function! Bought these to wear under some slacks while staying up in Mammoth Lakes, CA for a snowboarding weekend. I will say that in cold conditions, the Omni-heat does what is promised and keeps you warm. When in warmer conditions, it doesn't make you sweat. Very impressed with the technology and will grab another pair for my upcoming trip to Scotland and Ireland in a few months! BTW, I'm a 6'4", 300+ lbs guy and the XXL size fit perfectly for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by stevenchadg from great baselayer i bought this at a sport store not from here its the same product. i have worn this in 18-28 degree weather with just blue jeans on and this. i keep warm. Now i will say this if you are standing still not moving you will start to fill the cold creep in. as long you are active moving around in my use i keep warm as for fit they fit just fine for me not to tight ...not to lose.. they did not bunch up or anything. i recommend them highly

Rated 5 out of 5 by bigchainring from very nice I like this bottom a lot! Interesting silver on the inside. Does a good job of keeping sweat away. My main running bottom right now:)

Rated 4 out of 5 by HD14 from Necessity These are by far the best thermal bottoms I have ever had. They are comfortable and very functional. When I wear these I feel like I almost couldn't get cold yet can move around a lot and not sweat too much. The only reason that I gave the 4 stars is that I feel like they are a tiny bit on the pricy side. Certainly worth the money but doesn't make if feasible to have multiple pairs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by theinglebaby23 from Excellent Tight Wore this skiing in about 15-20 degrees - legs were perfectly warm. Fits tight (not in a bad way) - no room for another layer underneath. Great tight!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SeaWags from Warm Base Layer These fit great and are warm, while providing some breathability. True to size, but I had to order a medium bottom to go with the large top that I ordered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rudyInDana from Great for Motorcyclists! We motorcyclists buy a lot of very expensive gear to enable ourselves to ride year round. Well, the Columbia baselayer gear eliminates that nonsense. Some guys ride around looking like the Michelin Man or wearing their summer gear but freezing. This stuff is the answer. Now I'm sure other people have known this for years but this is my first time wearing baselayers. When I start out in the morning and it's 45 degrees out but later the temp rises to 85 degrees, I'm not that uncomfortable. That's hard to quantify and very hard to put a price on. Good stuff.
