Men’s Midweight Stretch Long Sleeve Baselayer Half Zip Shirt is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid All Purpose Shirt I have two of these. Sizing runs true to fit but could vary depending on your proportions. For example, large chest + slim waist will mean either a Small that fits tight around the chest or a Medium which fits loose around the waist. So pick your poison and comfort level. I especially like the thumb hole in the sleeve to help keep everything functional.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Shirt These shirts are awesome, warm and comfortable. I just wear this shirt and ski jacket and I am totally warm enough. These are extremely well fitted. Initially, I purchased a large, which is what I normally wear, it was comfortable but the XL was an overall better fit for me. If I had six pack abs, probably feel a bit different. The only issue I have is seams by the thumb slots, when wearing ski gloves the Velcro snags on the seams and pulls on them. Overall, great base layer shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice thermal layer! I am on the pro-purchase program w/ Columbia & I love these new underlayers! I wore the set (top & bottom) all winter and spring and love the performance. It is thin, but warm due to the mirrored “dots” on the interior. It does fit close (athletic cut) which took some getting used to. I literally ice climbed, snow boarded, hiked and backpacked in these under layers and they were better than expected. Days used approximately 20.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked Great in the Sierras of California I am new to the hiking / backpacking scene and I had the opportunity to put this shirt's technology through the paces. Did a one day snowshoe trek at mid 30s and a three day snow camp at Rock Creek Lake Bishop, CA where the temperature dipped to the teens. The shirt kept me fairly comfortable on it own in the mid to high 30's.. it is very comfortable against the skin and looks good. I love the shirt and I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Omni Heat rocks! Base layer items with Omni Heat are awesome! This piece really makes a difference when it's cold, but doesn't add bulk to your layers. A must have for cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I bought this shirt for my husband to wear for skiing. It fits snugly but that is what I expect for a baselayer so I think it is true to size. He said it kept him warm and wicks well. He really likes the holes for thumbs so it's easier to keep the sleeves in place when putting on the top layer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and warm I wear this daily on my bicycle commute to work in Stuttgart, Germany (25-35 deg, rainy, cold, some snow). Lightweight and warm with thumb holes, this base layer is perfect under a lightweight insulated jacket, which is under my waterproof, reflective cycling jacket. I think it's true to size and because I'm between L and XL, the XL is a perfect fit, only slightly loose on me (5'11, 200 lbs). Great piece of kit with multiple uses. Definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I love this baselayer. It fits well and does not become soggy after a day of skiing. It is also easy to clean for multi-day ski trips. The only reason for 4 stars is that the thumb loops at the of the sleeves tend to dig into the skin a bit and become a little unconformable by the end of the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for cool weather training Perfect layering for 30-38 degrees

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Base Layer Gear I travel considerably throughout the full range of environments and extreme high 7 lows temps. This base layer top hits the requirement spot on - coupled with the right layers you will stay warm and free from the wind-chill. It wicks the body heat and moisture as does all the Columbia special fabric gear lines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Base Layer I'm a slender athletic male that is outdoors a lot for my business - Coaching Skiing both indoors and outdoors using the Snow Biste equipment I design and manufacture. I also train ski racing as an active USSA Masters racer in the Far West division. The product fits perfectly, maybe a little tight for larger chested Med sized men. Its warm and comfortable and never feel damp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm long sleeve baselayer. This garment helped me thru the cold days of the last week. I'd buy another one if the cold was going to be around longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 1/4 Zip This is a great shirt and the material is beyond compare. I am 215lbs with a athletic build and the XL runs a little to tight for my liking (but it is designed to be a base layer). I wear this short a lot and have found it to be very tough and well crafted (like most things Columbia!!). That is the reason for 5 stars despite that it runs small. I can always buy a larger size If you plan to wear this over a T-shirt or another base layer then I would size up at least one, maybe two sizes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shirt I bought this shirt for a base layer in the cold mountain hikes. I have been out in 32 degree snowy weather and it functions as says. It kept me a tad hot but did an excellent job of wicking sweat away. Great base layer shirt for anyone out in cold weather.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Base Layer! This product worked great. fit was a bit tight but not so much as to squeeze you. very light and thin fabric surprised how it kept me so warm!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Base Layer Nice product with good warmth. Even has a zipper guard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and functional Combined with mid weight base layer no issue with keeping me warm when fly fishing, snow shoeing or kayaking in cold weather. Simply a great base layer combo and like all other Omni Heat products, you stay warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Comfortable. I'd seen mention that this shirt tended to be smaller than the label size, so I bought an XL instead of the Large I would have otherwise ordered. I was not disappointed. I'm tall and the XL fits me well plus it gives me a little more sleeve length. Plus, this shirt comes with thumb holes in the cuffs - pretty much guaranteeing that the sleeves will be longer than usual. This shirt seems a bit thin for what I would have considered mid-weight, but I'm no expert. I have the heavy-weight version of this shirt on order now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Omni-heat is great! This products features work very well! Fits smaller than usual!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not like the "original" I have 2 of these, white and black, that I bought 2 years ago and absolutely love them. this new blue one is no where near the quality or the fabric weight... all 3 are "medium weight" but this new blue one is way thinner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Fit Bought this for outdoor activities in the cold. so far I am pleased with the performance of this baselayer. like the half zip for cooling off when temp rises. will definitely purchase again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Space age The top runs a little small. I'm 6'1" 270lbs. would have gotten a 3xl if they had one. I can feel it heating me up. The little mirrors inside the top reflect your own heat back into your body. Very space age.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Next Level in Base Layering I wore a moisture wicking t-shirt with this over it, and a Columbia Omni-heat parka skiing in about 15-20 degrees. I was cooking! So plan on one less layer than you're used to. Fits tightly, not too small, more like a compression shirt. Great midweight layer!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor fit so small it was useless, no thermal properties, and restricted movement.
Date published: 2015-11-30
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Motorcyclists We motorcyclists buy a lot of very expensive gear to enable ourselves to ride year round. Well, the Columbia baselayer gear eliminates that nonsense. Some guys ride around looking like the Michelin Man or wearing their summer gear but freezing. This stuff is the answer. Now I'm sure other people have known this for years but this is my first time wearing baselayers. When I start out in the morning and it's 45 degrees out but later the temp rises to 85 degrees, I'm not that uncomfortable. That's hard to quantify and very hard to put a price on. Good stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Warm. This is an excellent base layer that allows full function and keeps me warm.
