Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great hikining shoe I bought these shoes for weekend hikes and they have not disappointed me in the quality, comfort and function. I will hike around 20 miles on the weekends and these shoes are worth the purchase. If you don't have a pair but enjoy hiking I would suggest buying a pair. Quality shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Fit I love love love these pair of shoes. They fir perfect and are very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good so far Wore these for a hike to Indian Garden in the GC via Bright Angel trail and a couple of short hikes in Zion. The only modification I made was to replace the factory insole with a Spenco version that fits my foot better and provides much better cushioning. They were extremely comfortable and the outsole had much more grip than my old Vasque Breezes. There were no hot spots or fit issues and break-in was almost non-existent. The shoe is more like a robust trail running shoe than a stiff hiking shoe. Definitely more flexible than my Vasques. They work perfectly for my light, but long distance day hikes. I have a very large foot and have difficulty finding shoes that fit, so I purchased three pairs; one waterproof and the others not. Durability of the shoe remains to be determined, but nothing is coming loose or wearing after four hikes. I'm hopeful that they will hold up. I really like wearing them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe Runs small...my husband normally wears size 14-14.5...had to get a size 16 in this shoe. Now that it fits...very pleased with the product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sizing not accurate - i ordered this shoe in Men's 9.5 size to get a shoe as close as possible to a pair of similar Columbia shoes but the shoe is too small by at least half a size and maybe a full size. Tried to break the shoe in but that has not worked. Now the shoes have been worn and will next go to a Thrift Store Donation bin with a note that they are better suited for a size 8.5 foot. They are genuine Columbia but were a sale item thru a 3rd party. My mistake in not sending them back immediately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these Redmond waterproofs. I really love these shoes. Right out of the box, they fit Comfortably. No break-in period. I have worn them every day this past week. Dew in the morning and my feet stayed dry. I am going to buy My Wife a pair. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe/hiking boot! In my experience, hiking shoes and boots take a long time to wear in...but these are comfortable out of the box. I wore them for a few minutes to check fit, and then did a 3 mile hike...they were very, very comfortable...I'm looking forward to not getting my socks wet when it rains, as they're also waterproof. In short...if you want a comfortable hiking shoe that wears and cushions like a running shoe, this is the pair!
Date published: 2017-05-30
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable I like the shoes, but they do fit slightly narrow. If your foot is borderline wide...order the wide size. Very comfortable to walk in and wear all day.
Date published: 2017-05-29
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not waterproof Unfortunately I am very disappointed with these shoes. I must say they are very comfortable and have good adherence in rocks. In the other hand, after only a couple of months using them, the shoe sole looks like I have been using them for a very long time. But the worst thing that I must say is that they are supposed to be waterproof, but when I tried them under the rain, just after half an hour walking under light-moderate rain, the inside of them were completely soaked, I could wring out my socks. I have worn other shoes that are not waterproof that can hold off the water better, that's the reason why I am so disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Everyday Shoes This is the 2nd pair; the first one lasted over 2 years. My husband wears it everyday regardless of season since it is waterproof. It is very comfortable and durable. He found the perfect everyday shoes for him.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Squeaky These shoes are so squeaky they are embarrassing to wear in a semi-quiet area. I am very happy with how they feel on my feet, but, holy cow! They are so squeaky! Maybe I just got a bad pair out of thousands of good ones, but I feel I wasted my money on these. Sorry Columbia, I probably will try a different brand next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Shoe! This is a wonderful shoe for me. It did take a little while longer to break in than other shoes from Colombia that I've had, but once it was broken in, it became one of the most comfortable shoes I have had in a while. This was my first time ordering a shoe online, so I made sure the fit was good in store, than purchased these online for the color and rewards points. They fit exactly as I expected, and I am glad I invested in these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable shoe with good traction Comfort and style are both excellent and comparable to the much more expensive Keene and Merrill brands. I wore these walking around a very icy and snowy Bend, Oregon all weekend. While others were slipping and sliding, I was not. They're also reasonably warm, even with a cotton sock. I would not wear them on a serious snow trek; but for getting around through modest winter weather, they're great. I haven't owned them very long; so I cannot comment on durability. But they seem to be well-constructed and built to last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality but doesn't fit I really like Columbia products. I have a pair of size 12 Columbia shoes that fit perfectly so I ordered these shoes in size 12 as well. They were too small so I returned them and ordered a size 13 which were too big. Unfortunately, this shoe is not offered in 1/2 sizes beyond size 12 and I returned the size 13. Columbia was very good about crediting my account in both cases. I am not sure why there isn't uniformity in shoe sizing within the same brand. When I looked at the shoe originally, the review said they ran true to size. It was changed to runs small by the time I ordered the second pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Redmond hiking shoe low I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase, the shoe fits true to size. Usually an 8 would run slightly large on my feet but this pair that I purchased is fits just right. The traction of the soles are amazing, goes well with the AZ terrain all around. I am a happy camper! lol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great set of shoes. I bought these shoes and immediately took them on a 3-day camping trip through the jungles/mountains/caves of Central Viet Nam. First, as other people have mentioned, get a size bigger than normal. Also I know I'm dumb for wearing brand new shoes on a hike but I had zero problems with blisters or rubbing. These shoes took on sharp rocks, suction-cup mud, and slippery cave rocks with aplomb. Swimming through a cave in these? No problem. Putting them on still wet the next day and wearing them for 8 hours? No problem. 10/10, would shoe again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good hiking and daily use shoe I have used these for over a year now and find that they hold up well. A really good lightweight hiking shoe. I Probably have 200 miles hiking on them, and wear them every day for work. Waterproofing wore off after two or three months though, I could easily waterproof them again with a spray but it's not that important to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits Just Right This was my first time ordering shoes online, not having tried them on first. I was nervous that a lot of reviews said they run small, but I ordered my normal size 10 anyway, and they fit perfectly. First time using them my feet slipped into a creek I was crossing, water came over the top, so of course my feet got wet, but they only felt wet and cold for a minute and I was able to continue walking with warm feet and they didn't feel wet. My left shoe is a little squeaky when I walk, which I'm sure can get annoying with miles of quiet hiking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable hiking shoe! I have been looking for a very comfortable, waterproof, day-hiking shoe. I can say that these are BY FAR the most comfortable hiking-type shoes that I've worn! Also, I have a narrow foot - B-width. The shoes fit me very well! I'd highly recommend this shoe!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too small. Order a size up. I had to return mine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed After a few months of moderate wear, the shoes are no longer waterproof. The mesh by the pinky toes ripped out as well. Not constructed for serious use. Not worth the price. They are comfortable though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe After trying on every shoe in the store by every brand I chose this one. It offered the best comfort and grip for my style, and the price was very reasonable. Living in Hawaii I have taken these on several hikes in wet, slippery, dry, steep, and hot conditions. Performed as expected in every condition, and your feet stay dry when walking through shallow puddles, wet grass, or when it's raining. Offers great traction on any surface, but use common sense when walking on slippery smooth surfaces like rocks or wood. Stupidity killed the cat. Uploaded video is a quick one I made of several hikes from the past weekends

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Men's Remond Waterproof Hiking Shoe Love them, comfortable & durable
Date published: 2016-04-04
Rated 3 out of 5 by from No width selection I bought these because they were water proof. I usually wear a 12. They fit well except the width. My right foot is slightly larger than the left and I just couldn't wear the right. Would be nice if there were a choice for width; if so I would have not had problems.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way too small!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had this exact shoe & size 10.5, ( currently wearing it) for 2 years. Ordered the exact same one , got it, way too small. Sent it back got a size 11, still too small. Sent it back. Finally went to Columbia store and tried one on, size 11.5 fit just right. Not sure why I have to wear 2 different sizes of the same shoe. Advice- order big.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too tight in toe bought them half size to big. Like the shoe but can't wear as the are to skinny in toe width
Date published: 2015-11-06
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wanted to keep them but sizes were too inconsistent tried about 3 different variations in size, none of which fit. For some reason this model is too inconsistent with regard to size so I had to return them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Snug, but good This is a well-made, comfortable shoe. The padding and support is excellent, as is the sole pattern. It could use better ventilation, but that's to be expected in a waterproof shoe. Other reviewers have said that the shoe runs a little small, so I ordered a half size larger. I wish I had ordered a FULL size larger, as they are still too snug. I'm hoping that the toe box will stretch out with time.
Date published: 2015-05-19
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Low quality shoes First of all, this is not waterproof. Water gets inside shoes. And sands stuck between outer and inner layer, you need to cut inner layer to take sands out. Also, it runs smaller than typical Columbia shoes. Very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe... I only have had these for a little over a month, but so far so good. I swap out the in-soles in every shoe I buy. But other than that small change, the fit is perfect, the long day comfort is exceptional. I'm a UPS driver and work 10 hour days and they are the only shoes I am comfortable wearing now. In the winter months I wear nothing but Columbia as well. Only shoes (boots) I'v e used for work for the last 10 years. Can't see that changing anytime soon. However, still waiting for heavy rain to see how they hold up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shoes For a fellow with wide feet and high arches this is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. The low heel stretches the achilles tendon and they are waterproof. How could you go wrong?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sturdy Shoes We haven't been hiking yet to try out the water resistance, but they seem like very well made shoes. The person I bought them for says they are very comfortable. They are a little snug, but he says they will work great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from waterproof with a thick, padded sole Always love the outdry waterproof technology, and the comfortable padding is easy on the dogs

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Redmond hiking shoe These shoes fit great, but they do run on the narrow side (perfect for me). I haven't tried them in the rain yet, but they are very comfortable. I would buy them again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Redmond Waterproof One of the most comfortable shoes I wear. Great for every day wear. Used them for 10 days at Disney World never had any problems. Will be ordering another pair soon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Definitely not Waterproof I purchased these shoes for my 15 year old who does not splash in puddles. These were the only shoes in his size (15) that were waterproof. However, rain came to Washington, as it always does, and my kiddo has to carry extra socks to replace his after he walks to school. His shoes and socks are soaking wet!! Definitely not Waterproof. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.
