Men’s Bugaboo™ Interchange Jacket is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 132.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from 70's retro or no? Overall quality of the jacket is very good. Longer length, which is the style these days, but fit well for me. The reason the 3-stars, however, is that unless you're interested in having the "shiny silver dots" making a fashion faux pas, you have to zipper the inner jacket all the way. Having even 1/4 unzipped creates sparkles that - for me - was a fashion statement I was NOT interested in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ski jacket Bought this for my husband and he loved it. My husband is 6'3" and 200 lbs and the XL fit him perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multi-use jacket This is a great jacket because you can use the liner when it's starting to get cool or the outer jacket during a rain when the temperature isn't too cold out. And when the weather turns colder outside, you can layer the 2 jackets together to have a very insulated winter jacket that keeps you warm. They are so great, that this is the jacket that my company bought for all it's employees to wear when doing outdoor field work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket for MN winters I live in northern MN and winters get very harsh and cold here. This jacket holds up great and keeps me warm even in high winds. Highly recommend columbia to anyone I talk to about outdoor clothing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better fit then my last Columbia. My last Bugaboo was very tight in the arms and shoulders. (I did order the same size coat as the last coat.) It was very difficult to add any base layers. The previous fleece had a lining that I now believe was the cause for the tight fit. The lining prevented the fleece from stretching or any give. The new fleece doesn’t have the lining but utilizes the Omni heat. I am very pleased with the fit and the ability to use layers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product I've only used this jacket one time so far and was satisfied with the warmth it provided. It blocked the wind well. So far, the only thing I don't like is with the fleece liner extending out from under the outer jacket in the sleeves. Many times the sleeves/cuffs of the fleece liner would work their way out from under the outer shell sleeve/cuff. And I mean a couple of inches, not just barely. Never had that problem with my Bean 3-in-1 jacket. Wish they had more color selections as well with some multi-color selections. Overall, I think I'll be satisfied with the jacket and the flexibility of the 3-in-1 options but I don't think I'll be ecstatic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very long sleeves I do have short arms but did measure before purchasing. I love my old omni heat fleece size XL with half elastic and half Velcro in the sleeve cuffs. But this coat didn't have any elastic in cuffs on outer part and nothing on inner cuffs, not Velcro or elastic. So the sleeves hung down 2 to 3 inches below my fingers and was snug around waist. I immediately returned it, That being said the coat is well made. Currently looking for a Columbia coat that fits me because I love omni heat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Men’s bugaboo winter coat this coat is great for cold weather. It fits true to size and is comfortable and warm even in below zero weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket It is nice to have a dual purpose jacket that is quality made. Take out the liner for just a light weight jacket or put in the liner as it cools down. I was on the fence on what size so I order a size smaller after reading other reviews and it is perfect for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the price Very good product for the price. The fleece which has got omni-heat technology is very good to hold body's warmth. Very good for weather less than zero degree celcius.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best jacket I've ever owned. They say waterproof and they mean it. I ski in it go out in downpours and stay totally dry. Offers great warmth while not too bulky. The convertible feature (detachable jacket in the shell) is great for when the weather is warmer. Wears like iron. Only jacket I've owned over the last 9 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My replacement jacket I was very disappointed that my 19 yr old coat was unrepairable. They just don't make them lake that any more and color was a more mature tone. I will miss it greatly. The new coat is great made with newer materials and with the cold weather fading fast here in Albuquerque NM, I guess I will have to give it a good test next year. Everyone that I had communication with at Columbia was excellent and you really can't beat the warranty. They replaced my 19 yr old coat, so in my book they are the best!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winter Park I took this jacket to Winter Park Colorado and it worked out spectacularly! I never got snow inside my jacket even when I was basically swimming in snow. The Bugaboo series is outstanding and I was able to comfortably wear this jacket when I snowmobiled to one of the mountains peak! The heavy winds up there were no match for this jacket!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed - This Coat Felt Cool - (Bugaboo Interchange), and there was no Iconic Omni Heat Red Triangle on this coat. Disappointed - the Bugaboo Interchange Coat Felt Cool while wearing it. My friends have shown me their Omni Heat coats with the black fabric and the silver dots on the inside of their coats (just like the video in the ad), and they have raved about how warm their coats are. I mostly wanted this coat for Shopping and going to and from Work which is about 40 km from here. I choose the Graphite colour and found that the fleece liner was a grey colour with silver dots and the trade mark Omni Heat printed on the liner and on the outside cuff of the removable liner but no red triangle anywhere (the red triangles and black fabric with silver dots were on the base layer shirt and tights which I also purchased. These 2 items work very well, full points to Columbia on these items!). The Omni Tech shell had no Omni Heat fabric, it was just a water proof shell with the trade mark Omni Tech name printed on the outside cuff of the shell. The temperatures here in the south of Ontario are not as severe as they are further north of here, but I was disappointed with this item as a winter jacket, particularly after the rave reviews from my friends about their own jackets. I will Not recommend this item as a Winter jacket for southern Ontario, but perhaps it will be a good jacket for Spring to Fall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect allround jacket I bought a Bugaboo in 2006 in Wellington New Zealand during a ski trip. I still have this but a bit worn down by now. The reason is simple: I have bought around 25 jackets since, from all over the word and all makes and each time ends up back with this one. All the others has come and gone but this is the only one remaining since. This is a prefect all-round jacket and durable. The material does not get damaged easily and with the removable inner it is perfect from pretty cold -20 to +25 centigrade weather. When I go on overseas trips, I only need to take one jacket for all uses, from ski to shopping, from hiking to relaxing. I am now buying a new one after 11 years, as the sleeve of the old one is starting to show signs of aging. I wanted to buy another one before, but it is a bit difficult to get hold of as either the black or the size I need is usually out of stock. This appears to be MY jacket for life. Nothing better - tried most.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I love this coat, very warm, convenient (can be worn as two), great looking, very well constructed. The chin-guard is a must for additional protection. Everything is where it should be. I recommend this coat, if your goal is to keep warm, look no further. A++.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for This "breathable" coat isn't. Each time I use the cheap zipper, I wonder why they couldn't have spent just a little more to make it larger (so I can use it with gloves on) and a two way zipper so it can be unzipped from the bottom. Oh, it is warm enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket I love this jacket. I took it on a long snow mobile trip and it handled perfectly. I was dry and warm. Later that night I wore it to a restaurant and I didn't look to shabby. I love the 2 parts on there own as well. Now that things are warming up outside I've been wearing just the fleece and its super comfortable. I'm a little worried about the connectors on the shell that hold the fleece. I've had jackets similar to this (not Columbia) in the past and those constantly broke. This being Columbia I'm hopeful they will hold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meets and beats expectations I was a bit apprehensive buying this jacket as the model I tried on in a store seemed a little thin to provide adequate warmth. Well, after wearing the jacket a few days with temps in upper 20s- lo 30s and a bit of a breeze, this is the real deal. I find it to be nice and warm, and the material does not lend itself to overheating while riding in the car or the train. The adjustable hood is fully adjustable not just in tightening but with forward and back adjusting. Something a different style of Columbia jacket did not provide which I bought a couple of years ago. Plenty of pockets with the front chest pockets being lined in a soft material to protect sunglasses from scratches. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HE LOVED IT! My husband is a picky shopper! Whatever he buys has to be worth every penny or it's simply not worth buying. So I did my research and thank goodness I did and I bought this jacket for this winter time here in CA. It rained and snowed a lot but because of this jackets versatility I heard no complaints! He LOVED it. If it was raining, he'd wear only the shell. If we were taking the kids out at night and it was cold, he'd only wear the inner sweater. When we went to the snow, the entire jacket kept him warm and dry. What more could I ask for. It was a great purchase. Quality and make was excellent as well as the style and versatility of the jacket.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND FLEECE BETTER This would rate a 5 star review except for one glaring problem. The sleeves of the fleece liner are not lined. Putting the jacket on over anything except - say - a silk turtleneck is a struggle. If you have rotator cuff issues? Do NOT buy this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Jacket I ever bought! I bought this for my 14 year old son. The color(red) wasn't too bright, just perfect. The quality is amazing. Coat cinches at waist & hood to keep snow & wind out. With liner in it's almost too warm. The liner itself is also very nice looking and very warm. Great job Columbia!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok for the price First of all, right after I bought this jacket at 129$, it goes on sale at 112$... I wondered if Columbia would refund me the difference. the jacket is a good quality jacket overall, it is not as warm as most people said on the reviews. I wore it while snowboarding last weekend , it is definitely waterproof but lacks of pockets. Also the color and design is just so so, so for the price I paid, I may be able to get something a bit better with more functional pockets and better design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket and functionality Love it! I purchased the grey and it's quite stylish, runs large however. I love columbia jackets for 3 reasons- quality, price and the fact that you can adjust the hoods in the back! :) This bugaboo jacket has all the right features and performs well. I can come up with 2 cons right off the bat though... 1. The "reflective coating" looks cheaper than my previous omni heat coat and it's kind of itchy also. 2. The loop or whatever it's called to hang the jacket on a hook is cheap and ripped. Not a deal breaker, very minor for the most part. I would buy this jacket again! Great look and performance is also great! Thx

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket I purchased this jacket for snowboarding/skiing in Colorado in December. The jacket was very comfortable. The inner fleece jacket is extremely warm. The outer jacket also doubles as a windbreaker when the inner lining is removed. Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bugaboo Interchange Jacket is a hit! This jacket will keep you warm and toasty even when the wind is howling. It has the Omni-tech thermal reflective lining that is amazing. The jacket's zipper is covered which is nice too. Good pocket placement, nice inner pockets. Overall this is an awesome coat that I would buy again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good jacket Jacket is as expected. Very good quality. It's very warm in below freezing temps. Hood protects from the wind but not the cold.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Defective product The jacket arrived with only half of the bottom snap. Other than that, it's a great jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I absolutely love this jacket. I use it for everything from skiing to farm chores around home. It always keeps me warm, dry, and comfortable. One evening, it was about -5F, rainy, and winds averaging 40mph and the jacket did a miraculous job at keeping me warm and dry. Later when I took it off and pulled out the liner, I noticed that the chest was wet. The wind had blown the rain up into the chest pocket which is not water proof. It didn't affect me at that point and I doubt it would have, even with another couple hours outside. That would be the only thing I would like to see fixed. I would recommend this jacket to anyone. The versatility and performance it offers is amazing. Thanks for a great jacket Columbia!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectations This is the best winter coat that I have ever owned. It is light, but very warm. I am now half-way through my 2nd winter with this coat and couldn't be more pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bugaboo bugs I ordered this online and didn't realize it didn't have a double zipper. I find that when you are using a coat that you drive with, you need that lower zipper to allow for comfortable sitting/driving.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great jacket but needs one more feature I love the jacket and had a chance to test it here in Iowa on below zero windy day. Does everything but one thing I desire. Those of us who have grown in years and a bit around the middle who wear hip length jackets need one thing. A two way zipper. when getting in and out of vehicles it affords a lot of comfort to be able to split the bottom of the jacket. Not sure what Columbia has against 2 way zippers but the are a great feature you should consider on any hip length jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and dry The Pacific Northwest has been cold and wet the last 3 weeks now and wanted a versatile jacket to stay warm and dry!!! Very satisfied with performance of jacket and should make a good rain jacket this spring with heat liner zipped out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal product. I love this jacket. I wear it as much as I can because it is comfy, warm, and looks good. I didn't know the inside of the fleece thermal reflectivity was as shiny as it was. It took a day to get use to it, but now I flash it and tell everyone about it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst mistake buying this product i purchased this product last year. i read thru reviews and it was rated as a high quality jacket. WRONG! ITS NOT WATERPROOF! not only that but its not even warm. If the weather drops past 45F you freeze you butt off. ive only used the jacket maybe on and off for 2 months, that's not even a full winter. now i have to buy a new winter jacket. i should of just bought a northface, i never had regrets about that brand.
