Men's Redmond™ Low Hiking Shoe is rated out of 5 by 18.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Meg19 from Good ... at first My husband wore these shoes two to three times a week and loved them. No strenuous trail use, mostly just errands around town. But 18 months after purchasing them, a hole developed inside the right heel, through the lining and the padding. A similar spot started to wear inside the left heel. They're now unwearable, because the hole rubs his foot. He's never had this issue with any other pairs of shoes he's owned. We were surprised and disappointed by this flaw, considering the light wear the shoes have received. (And considering that other pairs of Columbia shoes and boots we've owned lasted a decade or more.) We were even more surprised that the company is enforcing its one-year warranty -- again, considering the light wear. I can send the shoes back to the company (at my own expense) for evaluation, but since they're out of warranty, I'm probably out of luck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BigGuySize17 from Great For Work and Play I love the shoes you can dress down for play or dress up for work. If you work in the rain make sure you order the waterproof. I now have to order the waterproof Shoe to match. I will buy them again and again For a big guy they have a lot of support and stability and a great value By the way I'm a size 17 and the fit is the best yet

Rated 4 out of 5 by Badburt from Sizing Similar to an asics running shoe size. Comfortable shoe for walking. The mid sole is not stiff enough for rock hopping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tommy100 from Texas Tom Hiking Shoes Great shoes. True to size except for the width. could stand to be a hair wider. I ordered size 14 wide. Other than that they are very comfortable. I would recommend these to anyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by PhilMiami from My Go To Everyday Shoe I have been using Columbia hiking shoes as my everyday and travel shoe for many years. The quality is excellent and they prove to be quite durable - seem to be much better than many other brands that I've tried. I have a few observations, however; + The style and, I assume, place of manufacture changes every year or so, making it hard to replace a worn pair with the same style/color. If you like to use the same shoe style over many years, I suggest buying multiple pairs. + The latest version of this shoe runs a little small. In the past, I have used 11 1/2 with no issue. I now have to order a 12 to get the same fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jolugostpits from The best Hiking shoes I am a 60 years old hiker, at the same time my work push me to walk in all kind of terrain for long distances. *The size ordered fitted perfectly. *The way the laces were set, adjust and wrap the foot confortable and safe. *The round toes cover, gives the proper coverage and protects from hard objects. *The mesh material, is perfect to permit a good ventilation, and let the water drain fast. I am very satisfy with my new shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Diane60 from Great from the get go! I purchased this Redmond low hiking shoe for my husband as a Christmas present. He took them right out of box and wore them immediately!! There weren't any complaints on tightness or anything else!! We are currently in the throes of a bitter cold winter so I'm sure when spring comes he will get much more use out of them----still has the last pair from about eight years ago!!! Lol

Rated 5 out of 5 by KenH85 from A must have for hikers These hiking shoes are the most sleek looking, comfortable, and lightweight shoes I've owned. They do run true to size so order the exact size you wear in regular shoes. I usually wear wide shoes but it's not necessary to order the extra wide unless you have extreamly wide feet. Traction is great for the woods and even a wet ground. Soles are good and provide a good amount of cushioning. Plus they can be swapped out for your own if need be. One thing I would recommend is wearing thick socks if you are wearing them in cold temperatures as the best part of these hikers is the breathability. So if it's cold out, you will feel it. But you will love them in warmer or cool temps as your feet will never be hot. These are also nice for night out on the town with casual wear like a pair of khakis or even jeans. But the best thing about these shoes is the price. I've always spent $100.00 or more on good hikers. But these have a good price point and all the extra benefits. Don't think about it, just buy them. You won't regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by hhvm01 from 2nd pair I'm buying Love this shoes!! It's the second pair I have, and I'd buy them over and over again. They fit since day 1. They are truly comfortable and waterproof, no matter how hard it rains or if you put your foot in a puddle, you will be dry and it won't smell the following day. They are also lightweight for a pair of boots, and the best thing is I've had them over two years, walked many, many miles, and they still have a great grip. The ones I just bought are for the future. I just had to use a coupon... =)

Rated 5 out of 5 by HikeAndHang from Best shoes I've ever owned Excellent grip ( on asphault you might twist a knee as they grip that well ), good tread life -- worn almost daily for 1.5 years and the ball / toe section is starting to lose the peaks and valleys Comfortable ( perhaps a bit too much cushion ), breathable ( very important for me ) and the laces are fantastic! ( just the right amount of lace to lace grip to stay snug - I'd buy the laces for any shoe I own ) Finally - the brown color hides wear and soil very well - the shoes had held up very well, I recently purchased the dark gray color and while the shoe look a bit nice in general the brown color shoes hid soil and such better.
