Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable These are comfortable and for well. I do wish they had a little more cushioning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute and Comfortable Hiking Shoe I absolutely love these hiking shoes. I actually bought them for work, and I have pretty much worn them 7am-6pm for about 2 weeks now. No blisters, my feet feel great, and the shoes are cute too! The grey with purple accents is feminine, but not over the top girly. These shoes also allow enough airflow to keep my feet from getting crazy sweaty after a long day at work. They do run a little small. I typically wear a 7, and bought a 7.5 in this shoe, which fits perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love Columbia products I been shopping Columbia for quite awhile for my family and myself haven't been disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this hiking shoes I’m so glad I found this hiking shoes! Very comfortable and true to size.
Date published: 2018-08-07
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for limited use I find the body of the shoe does not Provide the support required for serious hiking. The inside ankle is soft and allows the foot to roll. Price does not Reflect function. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great on the trail Fit perfect. Really comfortable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very uncomfortable!! These shoes hurt my feet. I even tried upgrading the insoles like another reviewer suggested, but they still kill my feet!! Would not buy again!!
Date published: 2018-07-05
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for light hiking These shoes are comfortable. They run slightly narrow but I am expecting they will stretch out a little once they are completely broken in. They are good for light hiking or easy day hikes. They have good grip. I have not tested the water resistance/proof on them yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from first shoe at columbia fit perfectly for me

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Pair of Hiking Shoes This was my first pair of hiking shoes but they fit the bill! They are waterproof (which was great as I accidentally stepped on many puddles), they are true to size, and they are comfortable enough to not hurt my feet after walking in them for hours. I’m glad I invested in these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe! Wanted a hiking shoe that was low-cut, water-proof, and not too heavy. I found this shoe and it has been awesome thus far!! A little stiff so better with thicker socks, but very comfortable and will certainly wear a lot next winter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad choice for hiking. I wear a 9 1/2 but I had to buy an 11. There is absolutely no support in this boot. The sole is of this boot is not suitable for hiking.
Date published: 2018-04-02
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too small had to return I am sad these did not fit because the quality looked nice and they were exactly what I wanted. I ordered a half size up per the other reviewers saying these were running small but 1/2 size up did not fit. I probably needed at least a full size up. I just returned them and went out to try on and find a different hiking shoe. Felt I needed to try these on to get the correct fit. No Columbia store by us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe These shoes are pretty enough to be worn everyday. They are comfortable and there was no breaking in period. When it rained, my feet stayed dry.
Date published: 2018-03-21
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me Im not a fan of these although they look nice and kept my feet very dry they werent comfortable even after i changed out the insoles

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hurt my feet...Returned These seem to run small and narrow. They hurt my feet so I had to return them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fall Shoes! I bought these shoes a half size larger than I normally wear and they fit perfect, they are light and comfy - I bought them to wear with all of the walking I do to and from work - they keep my feet warm and dry in this cool and wet weather. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good hiking shoe Just returned from a 5-mile hike to try out my new Redmond waterproof low hiking shoe. First of all, I ordered a full size up since reviewers indicated they run a little small (I would have just ordered 1/2 size up, but they were out of stock.) I put in inserts, wore medium socks and the fit was good--with heavier socks it will be perfect. That being said, these shoes were very comfortable--no slippage or rubbing and a wide enough toe box for feet to comfortably "spread out." No break-in necessary. I've found that Columbia shoes aren't overly cushioned but always comfortable (although I think the inserts added to the comfort of these.) Traction was good: steep incline with packed dry dirt and they gripped very well. I can't speak to the waterproofing but I have other Columbia shoes that are exceptionally good in that regard. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase of these shoes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some disappointment I bought the same model from Columbia 7 years ago. I would give all 5 stars to those old pare of shows. I still can use them, just slightly worn out. But the latest edition - I cannot compare: poor traction, no more leather and very poor cushioning. I didn't have any blisters from the first purchase from the first try, but new one - was a big challenge to wear, to walk and stay long with them on. Customer service was good and order delivered on time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOMEN’S REDMOND™ WATERPROOF LOW HIKING SHOE These shoes fit great and were comfortable right out of the box. No break-in period. I use them for hiking and for golf as well. Traction is good on the trails and in the wet grass as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has Ruined All Other Shoes For Me This is the best shoe I've ever owned, hands down. I have worn them every day for the last 4 months. I work in healthcare and work two 16 hours shifts a week, I prefer these over my nursing clogs. They're water proof for hiking and look good too. I'll definitely be buying more pairs!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Alaska Shoe Just got back from ten days in kayaks, fishing boats, meadows, swamps, woods in Alaska. These shoes did it all! My feet stayed completely dry, and my son who was wearing Columbia men's waterproof shoes did too. Amazing to see the water bead up all over the uppers and feel nothing inside. Although they are not as cushion-y as my Asics runners (and what shoes are?!), I was very comfortable. Especially when I added my new Columbia hiking socks. I bought a half size larger than I usually wear, which is consistent with other reviewers' experience. Overall these shoes exceeded expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value! These were perfect for me. I just needed something with a little more traction for muddy moderate hikes around where I live in Virginia. Also love that they are waterproof for wet days! I did follow the advice of recommenders and sized up-- they were perfect!
Date published: 2017-06-30
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shoe! These shoes did such a great job! For 12 months the waterproofing has held up, after that the shoe was still comfortable, and made it another year before the fabric started to come apart and they will soon be retired - only to be replaced by another pair of Columbias!
Date published: 2017-06-25
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Waterproof This pair of shoes is good looking and comfortable. However, it's NOT waterproof, especially not in the toe box area. That's the one feature I was specifically looking for, so I am very disappointed.
Date published: 2017-06-24
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality, functional, good looking shoe Sturdy good looking shoe arrived early! Wore them 3 days straight while working inside and out. Waterproof as advertised! Did get a heel blister so switched to regular shoes for two days, then returned to NEW shoe and no problems. Wear otc orthodics and they fit beautifully inside. Excited to use this shoe on work days!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waterproof and functional I was looking for a walking/hiking shoe that was waterproof. As previous raters' noted, this does run a little small so I purchased a shoe that was 1/2 size larger and they fit perfectly. Not a lot of cushioning; however, this is easily compensated for. I would purchase these again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect shoes These shoes are lightweight, have great traction, keep feet dry & are comfortable. They are nice enough if you have to dress up & look nice with shorts too. Also make you want to stand up tall & walk or run faster.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Shoe! I wanted to get a hiking shoe over a boot so in the spring/summer I wouldn't get too warm. Reading the reviews, I was unsure what size to get. I decided to just go with my normal tennis shoe size (8) and that fit perfectly! Only a little snug at the top by the tongue of the shoe but I'm sure that will stretch out with wearing them more. I also have not tried them with a thicker sock yet, so that may require a half size up if you're aiming for that. They're pretty comfortable and seem very well made. I have not tried them in the rain yet to know how waterproof, but I think they'll be fine. Go with your normal tennis shoe size and I think you'll be fine!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice hiking shoe I did size up one and for me the fit is perfect. Only thing that bothers me is the heel ok both shoes - I feel like there's metal in there or something and it digs into my foot making it sore and uncomfortable. Otherwise, I like it a lot.
Date published: 2017-06-07
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the Quality or fit im use to. It just didn't hold up and fit as well as all of my other Columbia shoes. The sizing was really off. The material was not a quality material. I love Columbia's shoes and hiking boots, so these were a disappointment. I just didn't get the wear and tear that I usually get from my shoes.
Date published: 2017-06-01
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not at ALL I am a huge hiker?walker. These shoes do not meet the waterproof or comfort test. Waterproof is HUGE for me. And the label on the shoe states Waterproof. Not at all....
Date published: 2017-05-28
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very narrow Even though the shoes have laces the shoe is so narrow they hurt my feet, and I don't have wide feet. 6.5 shoes typically fit my feet 100% of the time.
Date published: 2017-03-06
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice shoe, but runs small This seems like a very nice shoe, but does not fit to size compared to other running/hiking shoes. I normally wear a 10-10.5 for running shoes and this shoe was tight both width and foot length. For that reason, I am sending them back and will order a larger size.
Date published: 2017-02-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by from No arch support I just had them on in the house because they were too small, but also lacked arch support for me.
Date published: 2016-12-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great shoe! These hiking shoes are comfy, and cute, too! I ordered the pebble/sunlit color. I also love that they're waterproof! Like some of the other reviewers mentioned, they do run small. I normally wear a size 10 so I ordered an 11 and they fit perfectly!
Date published: 2016-12-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Buy I worn the shoes hiking and to sporting events and they are very comfortable to wear all day, definitely waterproof, keep my feet dry, even when I've intentionally jumped in puddles, great traction when dry and wet, specially when hiking through the creeks/rivers. Very light and durable
Date published: 2016-11-26
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sizing more standard than other reviews saidd I ordered this shoe because of its colour and its functionability. Other reviewers said the sizing was a bit small -- unfortunately I followed their advice, and the size 9 I ordered didn't fit small at all. So I had to send them back.
Date published: 2016-11-21
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mellie I Like these shoes and have them in size 10; i normally wear size 9.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great park walking shoe Waterproof! We walk the dog in wet park grass, good for that. I ordered 1/2 size larger, should have ordered full size larger.
Date published: 2016-10-27
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes, they run small. They're also excellent hiking boots. I don't really get bent out of shape when clothes or shoes don't fit me - I read the reviews, bought a half and full size larger than what I normally wear, ended up keeping the largest pair and will return the smaller ones. Not really a big deal at all. If I wore thin hiking socks, I'd probably have kept the half size larger, but since I like thicker socks, the full size worked best. That said, the size issue has no impact on the quality of the product. Sizing issues happen sometimes. Get the right size - even if it's big, who cares - and you'll have a comfortable, sturdy and lightweight pair of boots. The soles are textured for excellent grip; I look forward to taking them out on muddy trails this fall. I wore them for a little walk around my neighborhood just to get a feel for them while deciding whether to keep them. They were extremely comfortable - my feet felt great, which isn't usually the case with a brand new pair of hiking boots. Glad I bought these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe, runs too small. I love these shoes, I didn't realize they were too small until I went on a longer than usual hike and my toes were in pain. I will continue wearing them on short hikes but will have to get another pair. I usually wear a 9/9.5 and I ordered a 10 but they are still too small. I hiked through a rainforest and they were great at keeping my feet dry. I also accidentally filled my shoe with ice cold glacier water while climbing up a waterfall and within minutes my feet felt warm and dry. I definitely recommend but get a larger size!
Date published: 2016-09-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Full size up I love these shoes great for soggy NW trails! Order a full size up. I usually wear a 9 and I got a 9.5 but wish I would've ordered the 10. They fit but only with super thin socks.
Date published: 2016-09-02
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved it! It is very comfortable. I wear every day. I recommend it.
Date published: 2016-06-15
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way too narrow Way too narrow for my adverage foot.
Date published: 2016-06-05
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable Ordered a half size bigger and it's perfect.
Date published: 2016-06-05
Rated 3 out of 5 by from I should have listened to the reviews.... I should have listened to the reviews of this shoe instead of the girl on the phone at Columbia. I had a pair of size 6.5 Columbia shoes on at the time I ordered this pair. The girl said if I was wearing a 6.5 then that is what I should order. Like I said, I should have listened to what other reviews had said. These shoes run small. I take a 6.5 but the pair sent squished the front of my toes. Had to return them, not sure I want to go through this again. Maybe I'll go find a store that carries them around here and try them on.
