Men's Featherweight Hike™ Long Sleeve Shirt is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from What an amazing shirt! Super lightweight, paper thin, strong fabric feels superb. Almost mindbogglingly comfortable! The seams are specially sewn for 0% chafing, the buttons are thin yet strong rubber, and the chest zip pocket comes into use for cash or cards or anything smaller than a smartphone. This is a great shirt for hot, humid weather, I noticed the cooling effect not only by sweat wicking away but also in an air conditioned room (nowhere near the coldness of Omni-freeze Zero). This is my new dress shirt because it looks sharp while feeling comfortable. Well worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite long sleeve shirt. I really like this product so much that I bought the other two colors of this same feather weight shirt. The other two are blue, dark blue and this one is grey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The summer hiking shirt The best shirt I can find for backpacking, especially in warm weather. Looks good, too. Feels fantastic to wear, stays cool while protecting from the sun. Extremely light and quick to dry. Does not pick up smell after days of wear in the wilderness. Looks good after being packed, too - does not get so wrinkly that it looks bad. I wear it for all hikes or even simply any time in the sun protected without sunscreen - just love to wear it anytime it feels so good. But, can't be beat for backpacking. The logo decals came off after a couple washings, which is disappointing and dropped a five to a four, but that does not affect the function and the shirt is wearing well otherwise: seems plenty durable under hard use backpacking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultimate Shirt for Thru Hikers If you want ultralite this is the best shirt I have found. Cool, durable, and though expensive, in my mind worth every penny. I have 2 and alternate them. They dry VERY fast, look great when in town. If you can afford one, go for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally found a great sunshirt I work as a backpacking guide in Greater Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon. I'm constantly exposed to either the strong desert sun or the searing high altitude sun and I've been looking for an extremely lightweight long sleeved sun shirt for a year and a half now. I've tried several others but finally bought the featherweight long sleeve two weeks ago. Having just finished a 5-day backpacking trip out of Jackson, Wy I can honestly say this is the best sun shirt I've encountered. It's extremely lightweight so I can still feel a breeze even with the sleeves extended. The moment I take my pack off for a break the thin fabric dries so I don't have that clammy feeling and I can avoid chaffing from the backpack that you get with thicker shirts. To top it all off, the mosquitoes can't get through the shirt which was an absolute blessing while camped next to runoff ponds at 9000'. My only con for this shirt is that some of the seam is coming undone in the underarm. It's double stitched though so I don't think it will be an issue. Also, the Columbia logo has already fallen off. These are minor inconveniences for a spectacular garment. I just ordered a second one so that I don't have to find a Laundromat between trips! For size reference, I'm 5'10" and 160 pounds and the medium fits perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Great Great Shirt Lightweight, extremely comfortable and has a very crisp sharp appearance. This shirt is a great lightweight all around outdoor shirt that works in a casual, sport or trail environment. I pair this shirt with a Columbia T-Shirt that provides what I need in the morning and allows me to peel it off as the day warms up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor washing and product is very wrinkled I ordered a large based on previous reviews. Tried it on and was happy I did. The light weight quality is fabulous, but I can't wear it because it is too cold outside. Bought if for wear this coming warmer season in WI. I washed it as it is new and took steps to immediately remove from washer, the wrinkles are terrible. For this price I would have expected more. The fabric manufacturer sold a bill of goods to Columbia. Pathetic. The instructions are to cold iron if needed. I am disappointed I do not want to iron anything. If you feel like I do, do not buy! On a good note... love the color!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got me from Rim2Rim2Rim I bought this shirt to hike from Rim to Rim to Rim of the grand canyon in. It worked perfectly, it dried very fast, was incredibly light and after 31 hours of hiking had no smell what so ever. The shirt never hung on small branches and it didn't causing any rubbing issues what so ever. This shirt did run a little small in the arms and shoulders compared to my other off shore drag Columbia shirts. I wear a medium in those and would recommend a large in this style. You are really getting a amazing product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So light! This shirt is ridiculously light. I was amazed at how light the fabric is yet strong. I took it into the Uintas backpacking for the first time using the shirt and it kept hordes of mosquitoes from biting through it and breathes well despite the nylon fabric. Perfect for backpacking and even traveling when you need a good looking shirt that can perform in the outdoors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Performed well for the first trip I bought this shirt specifically for a thru-hike of the OHT. I wore it exclusively during the day and it performed very well. It's lightweight, breathable, dried quickly, and resisted odors well. The only negative thing has been the first time I washed it the decals peeled off. It doesn't affect the shirt's performance, I was just surprised to see them come off so quickly.
