Rated 5 out of 5 by cdocowens from Great Versatile product Love these shoes! I now have 2 pairs that I use every day from beach walking in sand and surf to charter fishing. Great grip on my boat deck and quick and easy to put on and take off with the speed laces. I have put them through the washing machine multiple times and they always come out looking brand new!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeaverDAMage from Light! These are excellent! I wear them all the time, I especially like wearing them when riding (cycling) around town in the rain, they dry out so quickly and the drainage in the sole keeps them from holding water and becoming heavy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ImOnABoat77 from Great for boat work Used these for almost two full marine patrol seasons so far. comfort is good on the latest model and improved over the previous generation. Quality is decent, however the wear in the toe area started to occur within the first 6 months and would be nice if they were a bit more durable without sacrificing the lightweight characteristic. Overall, they have been good on all types of terrain including dirt/mud, asphalt, gravel, and on the boat itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Arai from PowerDrain Cool Shoes are AWESOME! I wanted to take a moment to post a review about a Columbia Sportswear shoe I've been wearing recently. I purchased the PowerDrain water shoes to wear in my kayak and during my power boat tournaments. Previously I had been wearing flops, regular tennis shoes and crocs....none of which I found ideal for my situation. Either they stayed wet or didn't offer great support. I was excited when the PD's arrived. At first glance they looked stylish, comfortable and were light weight. It wasn't until I put them on that I really appreciated their design and function. They were very comfortable, light and offered lots of support. The lace design also offered for quick slip-on/slip-off. Also I found that they drained very well and then dried quickly while out on the water. I am very impressed with them and highly recommend them for anyone looking for a water type shoe for the boat, kayak or just multi-function terrain. This will not be my last purchase of these!!!! Thanks again Columbia!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by chyzman from Great fit, breathable, and light I love these shoes. They are very light, breathe and they fit and go on easy. The back of the show fits perfect securing a great fit. This is my 2nd pair and I bought a 3rd because I like them so much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by euro from Good for my intended use I just needed something to replace slippers and flip-flops. Something to easily slip on with or without socks. Something that would let your feet breathe and feel super light. I feel these shoes cover all of those requirements. However, if I were to jog in these shoes, or walk for extended periods of time (which I may end up doing), I don't feel the sole/insole cushioning or the shoe sturdiness overall would make those activities pleasant after some time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ChewieDaWookiee from Nice breathable shoe I purchased these shoes without physically touching them. They fit my custom orthotics well and are very breathable. The only negative is I pulled on the pull tag too hard and it popped off. It was easy to put back on though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AliH from Love them... This is my second pair. I wear them everyday and on the boat because they are some comfortable. Mine ran 1/2 a size large. I normally wear a 12 in Nike and Adidas and I got a 11.5 in these shoes. Easy on and off makes them great for travel also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jazzman58 from Versatile Shoe I have had these now for about a month. I read a number of the other reviews but was looking for a shoe to wear when I go out kayaking and paddle boarding. This shoe totally fits the bill. Light weight and comfortable, drys quickly and does what I need it to do. I have worn them 6 times over the month and not had any concerns with the quality and to the opposite, have found them to do really well for the purpose I am using them for.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Shauna310 from Great Idea, Poor Quality I bought this shoe for the summer. I work outside year round and was hoping these shoes would allow me to trail hike and be an easy transition into water activities, unfortunately I was let down. At first the ease of putting on this shoe was great, it was comfortable to walk in and dried out very fast after a good creek hike. After a couple weeks of use tears started to form in the mesh outer core. This wasn't as big of an issue until they started to shred in the same way panty hose do. The inner sole than started to become movable and eventually every time I pulled my foot out of the shoe it came out as well. Overall, not the best made product of Columbia's. I was highly disappointed in this purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Short life product I'm a huge fan of Columbia products. Back in 2008, I picked up a pair of Columbia Titanium Torrent water shoes. After years of heavy use and abuse, they're still great. I decided it was time for an upgrade and I got a pair of these shoes (Men’s Powerdrain Cool™ Shoe), and after trying the shoes on, I was very impressed with the comfort and the look. Sadly, this was a very temporary feeling. Since walking out of the store, I have only negative things to say about these shoes: 1) The second time I had to tighten the drawstring (first time since I left the store), the plastic adjustment came completely off of the right shoe. After a week of careful treatment, it fell off. It was lost forever, all on its own. 2) After a few days of walking, holes started to appear in the outer mesh fabric. This was just walking... not even hiking through brush or any intense activity. 3) The inner soles are comprised of some fabric glued to rubber/foam. The thin layer of fabric has started to peel off, giving an inconsistent, sticky feeling while wearing the shoes with bare feet. 4) By far the worst thing about the shoes is that the soft, cloud-like feeling provided by the new soles went away after just a month of periodic use. The places where my feet compress the soles have become hard, making these shoes painful to walk in for more than a few minutes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by nicksto from Very light I love the show, extremely comfortable, very light, does everything I was hoping they would when i bought them. There is one issue, I've owned them for about two weeks and the strap on the back to help pull them on already broke (see picture). I was a little surprised how easily it broke. I don't use it much so I don't care that much but something the company might consider reinforcing a little more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alvi from Comfortable, light, good quality I travel a lot for business, I live 20 minutes from the beach, and also like nature photography. I was looking for a pair of shoes that I could wear comfortably and not tight while in transit during flights, with quick laces to remove quickly at TSA checkpoints, light and flexible to fit flat in my travel luggage, good shoes to go to the beach, but also to wear on my nature photo trips to natural preserves, the everglades and and the zoo. These shoes meet all my criteria and feel great on my feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by crispeto from Exactly what I was looking for! We're taking a trip to Kauai this summer and I've been looking for a water/hiking shoe that can fill both needs. These are perfect. Very lightweight, comfortable even when wet and barefoot, stylish, great new sole with awesome traction, drain and dry quickly. I may get another pair. Just awesome.

Rated 1 out of 5 by eskimooo from Looks good, feels good, fits good, but not strong enough to walk to work everyday Bought this pair in Sports Basement store and after less than month walking to work noticed cracks on the outer cloth around rubber toe cup. Total mileage to work about 5 miles day * 20 working days = 100 Miles on paved trail. It might be good to wear car ->office->car but definitely not a good choice for people who prefers to be walking every day. Going to visit store and request replacement for different brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brad from Best all around shoe I have ever purchased Love these shoes. Great fit and comfort. I have used them hiking on a trail and thru a river, on a boat and just wearing around my normal routine. The draining function works like a charm, the Omni Freeze Zero really does work to lower temperatures, and the grip on trail and on slick boat surfaces is fantastic. I bought 2 pair, going back for more!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Glyn from Power drain is comfortable and light I was a little concerned about ordering the shoe because I have a wide foot. I ordered a size 12 and it was snug but very comfortable. After wearing for a short time, the shoes fit very well and they are very comfortable. I haven't worn in the water or in hot conditions yet, but it will be plenty hot soon. Just ordered another color cause I like them a lot.
