Women’s Redmond™ Waterproof Low Hiking Shoe is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very narrow Even though the shoes have laces the shoe is so narrow they hurt my feet, and I don't have wide feet. 6.5 shoes typically fit my feet 100% of the time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice shoe, but runs small This seems like a very nice shoe, but does not fit to size compared to other running/hiking shoes. I normally wear a 10-10.5 for running shoes and this shoe was tight both width and foot length. For that reason, I am sending them back and will order a larger size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No arch support I just had them on in the house because they were too small, but also lacked arch support for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great shoe! These hiking shoes are comfy, and cute, too! I ordered the pebble/sunlit color. I also love that they're waterproof! Like some of the other reviewers mentioned, they do run small. I normally wear a size 10 so I ordered an 11 and they fit perfectly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Buy I worn the shoes hiking and to sporting events and they are very comfortable to wear all day, definitely waterproof, keep my feet dry, even when I've intentionally jumped in puddles, great traction when dry and wet, specially when hiking through the creeks/rivers. Very light and durable

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sizing more standard than other reviews saidd I ordered this shoe because of its colour and its functionability. Other reviewers said the sizing was a bit small -- unfortunately I followed their advice, and the size 9 I ordered didn't fit small at all. So I had to send them back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mellie I Like these shoes and have them in size 10; i normally wear size 9.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great park walking shoe Waterproof! We walk the dog in wet park grass, good for that. I ordered 1/2 size larger, should have ordered full size larger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes, they run small. They're also excellent hiking boots. I don't really get bent out of shape when clothes or shoes don't fit me - I read the reviews, bought a half and full size larger than what I normally wear, ended up keeping the largest pair and will return the smaller ones. Not really a big deal at all. If I wore thin hiking socks, I'd probably have kept the half size larger, but since I like thicker socks, the full size worked best. That said, the size issue has no impact on the quality of the product. Sizing issues happen sometimes. Get the right size - even if it's big, who cares - and you'll have a comfortable, sturdy and lightweight pair of boots. The soles are textured for excellent grip; I look forward to taking them out on muddy trails this fall. I wore them for a little walk around my neighborhood just to get a feel for them while deciding whether to keep them. They were extremely comfortable - my feet felt great, which isn't usually the case with a brand new pair of hiking boots. Glad I bought these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe, runs too small. I love these shoes, I didn't realize they were too small until I went on a longer than usual hike and my toes were in pain. I will continue wearing them on short hikes but will have to get another pair. I usually wear a 9/9.5 and I ordered a 10 but they are still too small. I hiked through a rainforest and they were great at keeping my feet dry. I also accidentally filled my shoe with ice cold glacier water while climbing up a waterfall and within minutes my feet felt warm and dry. I definitely recommend but get a larger size!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Full size up I love these shoes great for soggy NW trails! Order a full size up. I usually wear a 9 and I got a 9.5 but wish I would've ordered the 10. They fit but only with super thin socks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I should have listened to the reviews.... I should have listened to the reviews of this shoe instead of the girl on the phone at Columbia. I had a pair of size 6.5 Columbia shoes on at the time I ordered this pair. The girl said if I was wearing a 6.5 then that is what I should order. Like I said, I should have listened to what other reviews had said. These shoes run small. I take a 6.5 but the pair sent squished the front of my toes. Had to return them, not sure I want to go through this again. Maybe I'll go find a store that carries them around here and try them on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good shoes but be aware that run small Love the shoes but after reading other reviews I order a 7.5 and I am a 6.5. I thought maybe a 7 could work cause I thought they were a little big bit after wearing them for a full day the 7.5 was perfect. Didn't try on water yet but for lots of walking and light hiking are perfect

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor construction Purchased shoes for the durability and waterproof features knowing that I had some major hiking planned for this year. During a recent 111km hike the shoes began to literally come apart.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Go up a size Based on other reviews I ordered a size larger than usual. The fit of the larger shoe was good but slightly wider than normal. They have adequate support. I wore them for two days of trail walking and my feet didnt hurt. We covered very uneven ground and did lots of step climbing, these shoes were very helpful. I did not give them five stars as the fit could be better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Way to small. order a whole size up. I normal wear a size 8. My regular Redmond (not waterproof) are 8.5, so I thought the sizing would be the same and ordered a size 8.5 in these. I had them on my feet for less than 10 minutes and had to take them off, my big toe was throbbing. I think it is the omni-tech waterproofing layer that changes the sizing. My regular Redmonds are the exact same size on the outside and are the most comfortable shoes I own. I am going to try a size 9 at a local store, but I have my doubts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I expected more The shoes are fairly water proof, I am in and around water all day and I haven't noticed any wet socks. They also do not make my feet sweat. They do run a little small (From reading another review, so I got the size that fits). The material looks/feels a little lower quality than I would have expected from Columbia. The biggest reason I would not recommed these shoes is because my left foot rolls out so that all of my weight is on the point under my pinkie toe and the shoes were so weak in support that it allowed it to happen easily, within the first wear of them. Not good foot structure support. I like the colors

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Redmond trail shoe I ordered a 7.5 like my other Columbia's. This shoe fit rather small about a whole size difference. I ended up giving them to another family member. If you order these be very aware the run very small.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking shoe but runs very small. These are great looking shoes but they seem to be a totally different fit from other Columbia shoes I own. I have always found Columbia shoes to be a constant fit so was surprised that this style was so different, when it looks so similar in style. The width, height and toe box are considerably smaller. I tried my usual size (10) and they were way too tight, but were the correct length heel to toe. I tried the 10 1/2 and the only difference was in the length of the shoes. The width and height were the same as the size 10. My previous Columbia shoes were made in Indonesia, these are made in China. Maybe that is what makes a difference. If your foot is narrow, especially near the bottom of the laces where there is a piece of trim, and you have a low instep (your foot is not too high) and you don't need much room for your toes, then these shoes may fit you well. They are a really good looking shoe so I was really disappointed they did not fit, and it was expensive to return them because of the change in sizing and fit.
