Great winter coat! I bought this for my almost 8 year old for her 1st winter in Fargo, ND. So far we both really like it! She has worn both layers separately but it has not been cold enough yet for both of them together. The only negative is the inside jacket (which she wears the most) shows dirt quickly because it is such a light color. I'm getting ready to wash it; hopefully it will wash up well! October 29, 2011

Gorgeous parka with great features My 10 yr old daughter wanted a coat that didn't make her look little girl. This coat fits her criteria and mine. The inner coat is made extremely well and looks nice enough to be worn alone. It zips in the the shell very well. All the coat's zippers seem very well made. I love that she won't get drenched walking home from the bus or playing in the snow. Too soon to tell how warm it is, but it seems like it will be very warm for our Chicago winters.
