I am very pleased that I was able to find this jacket My grown daughters are very much into child safety for their toddlers. This winter they avoided bulky coats because of the concern that it is dangerous to wear them with seat belts. The belts are not close enough to a child when thick material separates him from the straps. The babies were put into the cars with their coats laid on top of them which didn't seem to me to give them much protection. I bought these jackets because they are not thick but do maintain good warmth. My daughters are very happy with them & I don't have to worry about my grandchildren freezing in the winter months! Jacket for my little man After I read previous reviews, I decided to order a few sizes larger to make sure it would fit my 2 year old perfect and that it would still fit in May b/c we are going to the Rocky Mountains. My son is a little small for his age and can still wear 18-24 jeans and shirts at 2 years and 2 months. I ordered this jacket in the lime green color in 3T and I was so worried it was going to be too big, but it actually fit well, the sleeves are a little baggy, but will last him for a bit. I wouldn't have been satisfied if I purchased the 2T. The quality is really nice and it's such a cute jacket! My husband and myself just ordered 2 fleece jackets for ourself. We love Columbia! Fleece Jacket My son is almost 3 and wears 3T clothing. After reading the reviews about how this jacket is cut small, I decided to buy a 4T. It fits him perfectly and he has room to grow, it's not too snug. I think going up one size in this jacket is a must, but other than that, we love the jacket! January 26, 2012
Perfect coat for car seat, but sizes run small This is a perfect coat for my 2 year old son's car seat. not too bulky and still warm enough for Illinois winters. I'm glad I read other reviews about the sizes running small. My son is about 30lbs and usually wears a 24 months- 2T. I went and ordered a 4T and I'm glad I did. Its almost a perfect fit and will probably fit him until next fall if I'm lucky. December 29, 2011
wrong sizes I like the quality but the size must be wrong. I got my son (will be two in 2 weeks) a 4T. Still way too small. Not sure what size to get him now. What's wrong with your size chart???? December 8, 2011
Go a size up I got this jacket for my godson's 2nd birthday and it was a hit! The bright green color will match so many things he has and it keeps him snuggly warm! I am glad I ended up buying a size 4T, however. He is between a 2T and 3T now, so I went up a size thinking we could maybe have this jacket last until next year. No go. Great winter jacket This coat runs very small, like the other reviews said. My son is wearing a 2T in shirts and they fit a little big. I bought this in a 3T and it fits perfectly. I bought this jacket for my 18 month old son to wear during Buffalo, NY winters. The other toddler coats I would see in store were too puffy and I didn't like that I couldn't tighten the car sear appropriately. I felt that this coat solved my problem. It is warm and thin enough to that the car seat tightens correctly. Also, the hood has elastic around it so that it doesn't fall off. My son won't wear a hat this year so that was important. Great for winter without bulk We used this jacket last winter for our twins (bought bigger sizes this year because we liked them so much) The jacket is very warm and washes well. This is great for kids in car seats because they are is no bulk. We will not use them to play in snow but great for going places in and out of the car.. November 14, 2011
Glad I read the other reviews! I really like this fleece jacket. It was exactly what I was looking for the crisp fall weather. I am glad I read the other reviews first though, because it really does run small. I believe I got a 3T and right now my son is 20 months old and 34 inches tall. I went to Lord and Taylor first, because I knew they carried some Columbia jackets and I wanted to gauge the size. The 2T was short! I am glad I went one size up. It seems to just fit. The sleeves are a touch long, but I just roll them a little at the cuff and they fit fine. The blue is a very vibrant cobalt blue. I love it. And I like the drawstring hood and elbow patches. I would recommend this fleece. I would just advise that you look at the sizing carefully. October 25, 2011

Perfect coat for active toddlers We have two-year-old twin boys. I just bought a third set of Columbia coats for them because I love how these fleece coats hold up and look. They're also the perfect weight for our Oregon winters. The colors are nice and bright, and I love that it has a hood for our many rainy days. I highly recommend these coats! October 16, 2011

cute last fall I bought this jacket (different color) for my son and I loved it so much that I just had to get him one for this fall too. It's great because it's not too bulky so my son can easily still fit into his car seat but it still keeps him warm when outside playing. The only down side is that is runs really small. So buy up. Runs very small I bought this for my 2 year old son that weighs 30lbs. He is usually always in a 2T for size. But when I read the reviews I ordered him a 4T. The 4T fits perfectly. The arms are a little long but the rest of the jacket fits just right. The color we got was brown with orange accents and I absolutely love it. I would recommend this jacket. October 4, 2011
Beautiful Color But Beware of Size This coat has a wonderful combination of materials to protect against the elements. The adjustable hood is especially nice. The coat is neutral enough that I purchased it for my 18 month old daughter. She is 24 pounds and 32 inches tall. Given other reviews we ordered a size 3T and it is just right. The arms are a little long but that's good since it's very narrow at the wrist so we just roll it once and it's the perfect size opening. We're pleased with the purchase but please consider her measurements when decided what size to buy for your little one. October 3, 2011
runs super small so, the fleece is cute, but the fit is terrible. i read the reviews prior to buying, so i knew to buy up. i bought a 3T for my 16 month old who is 23 lbs...it fits him! i ordered big in hopes this would fit for the fall too but i'm guessing he'll outgrow it by then. also, it's a little lighter than i expected. also, the arms are very long...torso length fit perfect on him buy arms were long. so, cute buy beware when buying... Great Jacket, but runs small Very cute jacket, the fleece is nice and thick unlike many other thin fleece jackets I've seen in stores, it runs very small. My toddler is wearing size 24 months-2T so I ordered 3T and it probably won't fit him for very long. For some reason the sleeves are really tight and skinny. December 17, 2010

Cute, but Small I bought this for my son who is two. I got a 4T thinking he could wear it a little bit longer; however, I was wrong. I debating on whether to get a 3T or 4T and I'm glad I went with the 4T because if not, he would not get much wear out of it. It is cute, I give it that but the sizing is off. November 30, 2010
shrinks without washing I purchased this product because of my satisfaction with a similar product last year. This year after wearing the coat for one week it didn't fit the same. Its actually smaller than when purchased and it hasn't been washed. I ordered one size up to avoid this and it apparently didn't work. November 21, 2010
