Excellent Vest! As a ski patroller, I really appreciate quality outerwear. This vest fits well, is warm and water/wind resistant, and looks great. The material is comfortable and quiet, and the slight sheen to the soft shell fabric gives it a finished look you don't find in fleece vests. It's worked well by itself, over a fleece, and under a jacket. Very versatile piece of clothing. Highly recommended. March 6, 2012
Could be better I love the material and pockets! The shoulders sticks out a little to much compared to other Columbia vests I own. The MOST DISSAPOINTING thing was....no dual zipper. The reason I like that feature..so when I sit down I can loosen the bottom of vest for more comfort. Other Columbia vests and jackets that i own have the dual zipper system. January 24, 2012
Runs large I found this to run larger than similar vests of the same type, was too loose fitting for my frame (6'2", 205 lbs). I am returning to try the medium size. Hopefully it will fit better. Otherwise this is a great looking vest and I hope the medium fits me! January 12, 2012
More Than I Expected Great item. I'm a bigger guy and cannot always find the right fitting item. This vest is perfect. It is very comfortable and functional. I was also searching for a vest that had functional secure pockets for cell phone , keys and other items and this vest fits that need as well. I'll probably get another to compliment this blue one. Good concept, but a disappointment. Ordered the black. Looks, feels, and wears like a sleeveless wetsuit top. Female family members gave it a thumbs down for looks. But I'm sure it would perform as claimed if given the chance. Perhaps a warmer color or different exterior finish would make it more appealing. I would recommend it only for function, not form. I could not find this item at any local retailer. Perhaps the jacket variation is the way to go. December 20, 2011
I love Jackets with no sleeves I'm a very hot nature person, I don't need a full jacket with heavy sleeves. I wear vests because they're comfortable. I really love this jacket. I'm wearing it almost every day here in Texas and will use it as my base ski jacket when we go to New Mexico for our upcoming ski trip. December 19, 2011
