Product provided exactly what I was looking for
I was looking for a pair of boots that would give me the following: warmth in zero temperatures, keep my feet dry in mud and slush & be comfortable to wear for days at a time. That is exactly what I got with my Bugaboot Omni-Heat boots.

Women, buy these boots!
I have always had cold feet deer hunting, snow shoeing, ice fishing, and the like. I know that in order to be warm, toes need to have freedom to move and the Women's version just doesn't have that even with the thinnist wool socks. So I took the plunge.
I have not one regret. I love these boots! Whether sitting in my ground blind, making drives or sitting in a treestand, my toes never got cold. Having room was important but the Omni-heat had a lot to do with keeping warm too. I wore them 10 days straight, about 12 hours a day, no odors. I've bought men's boots before but have never been so satisfied.

Never again.
I'm from the south where cold weather boots are not needed. Few years back I started to visit the Pacific Northwest and needed some good boots. My first pair were so nice I and comfortable I wore them to ride my 4 wheeler, paintball, and anytime I worked outdoors. I quickly wore them out and the sides split where the upper and lower meet. I wasn't to worried because I was very hard on them.
I bought 2 new pairs in case they stopped making them.
The first pair I wore only when visiting Oregon, after wearing them about 10 times, just casually, they split.
Although they still looked in perfect shape.
Just started to wear my other pair as it is has been colder down here, and I already see that they are going to start splitting about at the same spot as my other pairs.
I can't send them back because they are over a year old.
This will be my last pair which is sad because I really like the feel and look of these.

great company bad product
loved the boots but only lasted a month before the stitching came apart seperating the upper and lower parts of the boots.

Turns out, they're keepers
My 20-year-old son pitched a fit for buying him footwear. "Sheesh, Mom. What a waste, I'll just return them.", he promised. Well, when they arrived and he tried them on, and promptly changed his mind. He called home to rave they are waterproof, warm as heck not goofy looking (and you know how hard THAT is when you're twenty). He especially liked the removable liners. Anyway, nod of approval from a tough environment, AK and a tough to please guy. Free and fast shipping made all the difference. Change then name, though. The "Bugaboot" moniker is probably scaring off some customers.

Best Technology
I have purchased allot of Colombia winter gear for my kids. They love the gear, so i bought myself a pair of Bugaboots. They beat anything i have ever worn for footwear in -20 degree weather.

Bugaboot
These boots keep my feet warm and dry no matter what type of weather I am in. This is my second pair of these. The first pair is still good but I like these so much I wanted another pair just in case Columbia stopped making them. Best all around boot I have had in years. Very comfortable.

Always wet!
I have used this model. But my left foot constantly getting wet. For this reason, I returned the product. and instead I got Daska.

Pleasantly Pleased
I Purchased a Pair of the Bugaboots in the winter of 2009,only wore them about 5 times during the cold winter we had that year, then stored them in the original box till recently, when i took and put them on to do some work out in the yard and about 15 minutes after going out I notice that my right foot was a little drafty, when I looked down the whole upper had come completely seperated , needless to say I was a little dissappointed because I had assumed that I had purchased a GOOD quality pair of boots that would last me for several years of minimized use, seeing I am not really a boot wearer. Decided to call Columbia, and to my surprise, they said take some pics, email them to us and we will take care of you! WOW ! Thank You Columbia! Got my new boots Yesterday, wearing them today just to see how they feel. So Far So Good!

Good boot so far...
After my last Bugaboots finally gave out (after 15 years!), I purchased this pair for a ski trip to CO. I've always had great luck with all of my Columbia gear. These boots kept my feet warm and had great grip on the snow. I hope these Bugaboots last even half as long as my last pair. Only complaint, the top of the boot is a bit wide, requiring me lace them as tight as possible.

Dont buy! Not Waterproof!
Just spent a week in Quebec with wet feet! They are not dry as marketed and after wet feet, blisters and trying to dry boots every night I just bought a different dry, waterproof non Columbia winter boot once I hit town. I am so frustrated that I just want my $ back

Great Boot!
I had to reorder a 7 1/2 from 7. The boot fits great and is perfectly warm in 10 degree Chicago weather shoveling snow. I get more comfortable mobility by not tying the upper eyelet. this is a great boot and would recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, warmth, and waterproof attributes. At a great price for the quality boot you get!

I noticed others have had the uppers seperate from the lowers. This should not happen with a boot in this price range. Looks like they have changed the construction so I'm trying one more pair. I like Columbia but not sure about these boots.

comfortable but.......
I use these boots for working outside in wisconsin. they are very warm and comfortable. however i am finding that the upper seperates from the lower after only a few months of wear. I am getting maybe 5 months of total wear time out of a pair of boots. And I take care of my footwear by using bees waxs and mink oil. I know I work in extreme conditions and take preventative measures to an extream. So having to replace boots in 5 months does not seem right....

Split in the back
Love this boot. It is warm and comfortable. But everything is made cheap today and it broke just like others have said right at the stitching between the rubber and cloth. I have only had them for a month and a half. I wonder if I should get another pair or my money back and try a different brand. But I do really like this boot. To bad America doesn't make anything anymore.

First pair(s) failed. We'll see about the seconds
Had his and her pairs (2001) of these that were used very little and both pairs started to disintegrate right before our eyes. The rubber cracked and seperated from the boots. Wrote customer service and they sent us two new sets....We'll see how these hold up, but they appear to be much better constructed than older model.

Problems at first....but then success
Where do I begin.......ok sooooooo, I went to a Columbia outlet to purchase snow pants for my job. (I am a land surveyor in NJ) They worked perfectly so I figured I'd try a pair of these Bugaboots that were very highly recommended to me from a co-worker. Had them shipped overnight to beat the big storm that came a few weeks back. They arrive on time, but damaged. When talking to the first rep their were little to few options in regards to getting boots back to me and money refunded. Wait would have been at the minimum two weeks. So, I bring boots back to outlet they refund me. I call back and speak to a rep that took care of everything and gave me free overnight shipping which was good enough for me. Now to the product....These boots are awesome!!!! I used to wear a pair of insulated socks and regular socks with another brand boot, now just a regular pair. Sturdy and comfortable all day

WET WET WET
Don't know what are wrong with mine but I purchased these based on the reviews. All I can say is I might as well be barefoot due to the fact these things leak water bad! My feet get wet almost the minute I step in a small puddle or any depth of snow.

Warm Feet are neat
I've had the first opportunity to use my new boots over the weekend. They kept my feet warm and dry, which they're supposed to do. Unfortunately, they are not sufficiently padded on the sides of the ankles, the insides of the outer boot seams essentially were digging in to the sides of my ankles.

Same problem with the crack- but they warrantied
I have to say I did like the boots until they cracked after notmuch wearing. The folks in warranty were very helpful and are sending me new boots.

Really is a space blanket for your feet!!!
This boots are OUTSTANDING!!! They fit wonderful, feel great to casually walk around outside and in the workplace, and are incredibly warm. In Minnesota, we had a few early mornings in the -20s, and frostbite would have occurred if you weren't bundled up properly--these boots were literally a lifesaver.

good investment
i have wide feet so i went a whole size up to compensate; no wool or thermal socks needed, it can get quite warm and maintain it, super comfortable foot bedding,and waterproof great tread, i hope it holds out. i plan on use them in seasonal weather-pending conditions, i.e. snow

I purchased these boots online without trying them on. I needed a versatile boot that would work for me in NYC. I couldn't be happier with this product. It's extremely warm, comfortable and durable. I would recommend it to anyone.

These have been awesome boots so far!
These are great boots!They are lightweight but very warm..i've used them so far for hiking in the snow and shoveling. They do however run small (I had to return my 11 1/2 for a 12) but it was well worth it. Hopefully they will hold up for a long time..

Good boot gone bad
I bought a pair of the men's Bugaboots a couple years back. Very comfort boots overall, so much so I bought 2 more pairs for other family members. But these great boots suddenly failed big time. While walking my dog recently in 6" snows and mid 20's my feet started to get wet. Upon examination I found that the rubber part of the boot fractured just above the ball of my foot. Then I saw that the nubuk and rubber separated at the seam, just like tearing a piece of paper. The boots had gotten little use, in that we don't get that much snow, and otherwise look brand new. Unfortunately now longer on the 1 year warranty, what a good deal for Columbia. Next boots hopefully will have a better warranty. Hopefully the other 2 pairs will hold up better.

Nice boot, but..
This is my second pair of boots from Columbia but first pair of Bugaboots. I love how light they are and grip on snow is very good also. I have them 4 days now and have noticed a few things. I'm in Alberta where it has been minus25C for the past week or so, the boots seem to keep me warmish when wearing them outside but when I am on my bus to work and warming up they begin to make my feet, mostly my toes, cold (sweat I imagine is getting cold somehow or there could be a defect with them). The other thing is the tops of the boots cut into my calf from time to time but thicker socks seem to do the trick. Hopefully when it is only -10 or so they will perform a bit better but the -32C (-25F) claim may be a bit exagerated.

Worth Every Penny!
I bought these boots as a gift for someone. He absolutely loved them. He claimed that they are the right fit, light, comfortable, warm, and are very safe to walk in the icy winter of Minnesota. The colors are great and the style is a bonus! They are worth every penny! I may have to get myself a pair!

Best all around lite weight boots

My second pair they are good for keeping feet warm(feet will sweat) and dry the first pair didn't wear out just wanted to buy another after 4 years with the first.

Excellent Replacement for Bugaboot II
This boot is a great replacement for my 10 year old Bugaboot II!! The plus with this product is that the insulation is better and rated to -25F. The only downside, if any, is that the size is not true to other products. We had to purchase a full size larger (7.5 -> 8.5), but this is not a big deal.

Excellent Boot!
Fantastic boot. Highly recommended. Feels a little stiffer initially than I expected; however, after a few days it loosens up and feels great. Excellent boot, solid footing, and very comfortable all day long.

Great lightweight boot
I live in a northern MI lake effect snow belt, where snow removal is a daily fact of life for 3 months of the year. I've only worn these boots in 10 degree weather so far and they are very warm for their light weight. I'm sure the below zero test is coming soon. Very comfortable, great traction.

A Workhouse Boot
I wore my previous pair of Bugaboot boots into the ground (10 years!). This version of that classic continues in the steps of its predecessor in my opinion. Solid construction, excellent warmth for its weight. Columbia scores again!
The only thing that'd make this boot even BETTER is to offer a lower height version (mid?). Most likely due to a decade in my old boots, but I'm still trying to get used to the extended over-the-ankle feel of the new boots. A trait I appreciated about the older boots is that they didn't "feel" like you were wearing winter boots, rather a warm, waterproof shoe that fit well under jeans and didn't restrict ankle movement.

Lightweight and warm
At first I thought they were a bit on the small side, but after wearing them several times a week shoveling snow and doing outdoor activities, they have broken in nicely and are comfortable.They are just as warm as my 1000 gram Thinsulate Rockie boots, but so much lighter.

GREAT AND LIGHT WARM WINTER BOOTS
These boots are great right out of the box. Great soles with traction to spare. I have a wide foot and ordered a 1/2 size larger. The fit is great with room for thick socks. This is a great boot at a great price. Vietnam makes great boots.
