Baseplate jacket I bought it for my husband who is a runner and biker. It is just the right weight for coolish days. It was difficult finding a jacket without a lining. This is perfect. Great that it is water resistant, too. April 30, 2012

I LOVE this jacket I'm actually amazed at how much wind the Baseplate blocks and how little, if any, gets through the breathable panels. I hike at the base of the Flatirons and the wind blows like crazy out there. When the sun drops below the peaks at 3:30p in December and the wind picks up all the more due to cooling, this jacket is amazing. And it's featherweight; it adds zero bulk to my pack belt. Baseplate Jacket So far I have only used the jacket on a couple misty, rainy hikes. It's light weight and water repellency seem perfect for that outer shell use. I also plan to use it for golfing and biking for the same reasons (and for its visibility). So far I love it. April 27, 2011

How to measure

Neck: Measure at the base or thickest part of your neck.
Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
