Wrong Size Although I ordered Large and the label says Large, the actual size was at least Extra Large. I compared the size with the other short sleeve shirt I bought (also Large) and this one is definitely larger. Something wrong with quality control. April 29, 2013

Still the best overall shirt !! I have not purchased a new Bonehead for a few years and the quality has held nicely. Really my favorite casual and fishing shirt. A little steam press and they look great. Still wish for button down collars as the hook fabric wears out over time. April 17, 2013

My favorite shirts I wear both the short sleeve and the long sleeve versions. I find them to run a little oversized. I order the large short sleeve for extra body room but the medium large sleeve because large ones have too long of sleeves. Normally I wear large to Xlarge in other brands. I have also noticed that the fabric fades easily from sweat...this keeps me from rating it excellent. The bonehead cotton fabric takes starch and is crisper looking after laundry and ironing than the other fabrics in other Columbia models. April 11, 2013
This style shirt definately runs large! I purchased a total of 75, based on individual sizes, and had a local company embroider our logo on them for our workshop. Over half of the guys wanted to exchange for a smaller size. Unfortunately, I was not able to accommodate them, very disappointing as they are not able to wear them at work. Several of these guys own a variety of Columbia shirts and never experienced this problem. Not sure if this is a style issue, or because they bought them at a retail store. February 28, 2013
Disappointed I was disappointed with the quality of the shirt for the price. Always wear XL but this one is just overly large and will be returning. The function and design of the shirt is good and I will reorder a new size for that reason. Not sure If I would purchase again. Will determine after wearing. The quality of the fabric seemed cheap but may improve after washing.Looked like loose weave and very wrinkled on opening. January 7, 2013
Best Adventure Shirt Ever! I'm a bird watcher and wildlife photographer and I've been purchasing this shirt for over 8 years. The design is perfect for all my accessories for photography! The only complaint I have is that you have changed manufacturing facilities from Thailand to India and the size now runs larger than stated. The Large is now slightly too big for me. Also the dye used on the Sage when mixed with sweat changed color to a strange orange. Other than these issues I still love this shirt. I literally wear them until they can't be used anymore. The color shown is not the color of the shirt. I am so disappointed with the color of the shirt. The color of the shirt is not the color shown. I would not have purchased such a bright yellow. The First Choice of the Fishing Magician I have been wearing the Bonehead shirt for going on 20 years and it is my first choice over all other shirts that I have owned. I like the vented back and the pocket format is the best for ease of access for what I always have with me, such as clip-on sunglasses that fit perfectly and securely in the front pocket. I have tried "hi-tech" version of other shirts but always go back to the Bonehead for fit and comfort. I put my sponsor logos on them so I am wearing them every day year round. Way to big I just ordered a small for this style of shirt and it is might as well be an extra large. Since it was a gift and my son took the tags offs I can not return this item and am down 44 dollars and a shirt that might as well be an extra parachute. Not breathable at all, I wouldn't recommend it. Don't let this review be to off putting though. Pretty much all of my clothing is from Columbia and I love their products, just not this shirt. Bonehead Long Sleeve Shirt My husband has worn these shirts for years. He loves them. The only problem is the velcro on the collar. The velcro doesn't handle the constant washings & ironings. I would recommend returning to just the button at the collar. Otherwise, outstanding quality. October 16, 2012

Great Photography Shirt I bought this shirt for it's extra pockets and durable material. I'm not a professional photographer yet, but will be some day. It is a great match for the photo belt and harness that I wear packing two camera bodies and three lenses. This shirt is great for sun protection! I live in one of the hottest towns in the country and ride motorcycles. This shirt is great for 120 degree days to keep the sun off of you while still venting a cool vest. Continuation of great product I was delighted to find the cotton shell fishing shirt available at the online store. Although I'm sure others enjoy the other fabrics used in your other products, the regional sporting goods stores didn't carry what I consider to be this classic, traditional shirt. Both of my others were showing signs of severe wear (holes, fraying) but after ten or so years that was expected. Looking forward to your reissuing the traditional blue that you used to produce. The Absolute Best Outdoor Clothing Made. I have been wearing Columbia clothing for the past 10 years, It's all I wear here in Florida year round. I have been wearing the Bonehead short sleeve shirts for quite a while but as I got up in age a bit I wanted more protection from the sun so I decided to move up to long sleeve. As with all Columbia clothing , the quality it top notch and the shirts wear like Iron, I typicall get 3 hard years of use before it's time to retire them, so casual users will get more life out of them.Often imitated but never duplicated; Columbia Sportswear is the Da Bomb ! Shirt is very Cool. The Columbia Long Sleeve Bonehead shirt is one of the most functional parts of my everglades wear. The material is light weigh, well sewn, and breathable. Most useful feature if not fishing The velcro tab above the top left pocket is ideal for hanging glasses/sunglasses. Easy in; easy out; high enough to be out of harms way. I've had seamstress put similar tabs on regular dress shirts. Glasses haven't fallen out of a pocket since. Highly recommended. June 1, 2012

Terrific Product I'm on the water several months of the year fishing. Columbia shirts are perfect for the fisherman, with a lot of pocket room for lures, sunglasses or whatever you need to keep at hands reach. Very satisfied Wore this to Mexico, and was very satisfied with the convienient pockets and comfort. Altho I ordered a medium the shirt was closer to a large, so I would recommend considering down-sizing.All in all tho, the weight and comfort outweighed the 'loose' fit. Hands down, one great gift! I bought one of these shirts for my father-in-law and he absolutley LOVES it! I have to say, it does seem like it would be a very comfortable and cool shirt to wear. How to measure
- Neck: Measure at the base or thickest part of your neck.
- Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
- Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
- Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
- Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
