Men’s Descender™ Shoe 4.6 5 14 14
A very light product I bought one pair last year on a store and it fitted very well making me feel very comfortable. That was the reason for me to order two new pairs February 23, 2013
Sole leaves marks and is wearing I'm sad to not review these shoes higher. I purchased a pair in the spring and they were my primary shoe. I loved the fit and got a lot of comments on them too. Unfortunately, the sole would leave marks on the hardwood flooring in the house. My wife banned them and now they're my pair of shoes I change into at work when I commute on my bike. The sole is also wearing much faster than I would have expected. Must be some soft material. If the sole problem is solved I would highly recommend these shoes. December 27, 2012
I will purchase a 2nd I'v only had these shoes about 2 months, they are extreamly light and comfortable. Very cool looking, i will be buying a 2nd pair in a different color, and probably one for my girl. If your undecided i would buy them. They do run a little small, but always returnable... i would but them a half size bigger than normal. December 26, 2012
very light. I have been wearing this shoe for a few months now and they are very light and comfortable. The toe box was a little tight at first but they seem to have streatched out a bit and now are very comfortable. Traction is good and I really like the material that the upper is made from. Awesome! These are by far the best Columbia shoes that I have ever had. They are super comfortable. I don't wear socks in the summer and these are fine with or without. The material they are made of resists odor if you don't wear socks. They have clear plastic perfectly placed on the wear areas near the toe that I normally wear through on other shoes. I get more complements on them than any other shoes I've ever had! Highly recommend! September 18, 2012
Light weight and functional! Got these for my son and so he really likes them and feels that they will be a very functional show! July 12, 2012
Vacation for your feet Though listed as a rock climbing recovery shoe, I find them great to wear after a long run or long day at work. They are as comfortable as slippers but with all the functionality of a regular shoe. A pair of these will always be in my backpack for camping (They are extremely light); in fact I loved them so much I bought 4 pairs. I recommend that you get size as with running shoes (usually at least 1/2 to 1 size bigger than you would for a casual/walking shoe). Unless you like wearing them without socks, and that is totally comfortable too. June 15, 2012
Great Shoe Truly a light shoe, yet surprisingly tough. The upper is a strong, ripstop-like fabric that handles abrasion very well. I use these for an approach shoe, a minimalist runner, and often an everyday shoe. They clip well and are unnoticeable on a climbing harness for a walk-off shoe. My only complaint is that the tread does wear down rather quickly in the forefoot area. For the price and performance, I can't complain, though. Overall, a great technical, yet do-it-all shoe. I'll be buying more. Fit is slightly small, but most of Columbia's shoes are, so size up 1/2 size or measure your feet according the to metric chart. April 3, 2012
Light, Comfortable and Practial First of all, Columbia has tremendous customer service. When I called about my order, the man was really friendly and helpful. Kudos! This shoe is so comfortable. It is light weight yet still supportive. I can use this shoe for almost any task. I wore it fishing and got it really dirty. I rinsed them off with a hose and they were dry and wearable in a few minutes. The material is very practical. Love, love, love. The only critique is that they are slightly narrow. I don't have a wide foot, so if you do, this may not be the right shoe for you. April 3, 2012
Look, I know they are supposed to be light weight... but seriously, these things are ridiculously light. Like someone tied a hundred balloons to your feet, and you get a bit carried away running around town like your spider man. They really should have put a 'May create super hero complex' disclaimer, because yes, they are that awesome. Wicked comfortable, fit true to size (I used the CM measurement on the sizing chart), and the colours are awesome! I think I may need a second pair... April 1, 2012
Casual trail shoe These definitely run a bit small so size up a half size at least. I wouldn't consider these a rugged trail shoe but more of a casual trail shoe. There are definitely other shoes that provide more support and are more well suited for difficult hikes. These would definitely suffice as a casual trail running shoe. These shoes have broken in very nicely though and are super comfortable. I really like the look of them too. March 8, 2012
Repeat Customer Bought 2nd Pair I didn't need another pair of these (bought a pair last year). If I'm going to grab a pair of shoes to wear away from my corporate job, these are the ones I grab.Bought a red pair this year and when/if new colors ar introduced next year, I'll buy another pair.I intend to own a fleet of them. Can't ask for a better partner in my trip! Very comfortable and light weight shoes. Perfect for traveling. Not to mention the slick design that looks good with jeans. March 3, 2012
Descender TM Very comfortable but feels a little tight across front side of foot. Good looking shoe. Works well for walking. October 4, 2011
