A good purchase When the vest arrived it was everything that I have come to expect to get from Columbia Sportswear products. The construction is good, fit was right on, unfortunately when I finally received it the temperature rose so I have not been able to use it extensively.The only issue I have with the vest is that I ordered it in Gold Leaf and it apparently there were black or dark feathers used. Not a lot however, they are visible with that color. When I first put it on I thought it was a smudge or dirty spot when I noticed about three more. This is the only reason I rated it with four out of five in quality.As I intend to use this as a layer under other items I'm not concerned. If this would be an issue for anyone considering this item stay with the Black or Ebony Blue. January 22, 2013
Very comfy vest This isn't your dad's puffy down vest. This is a relatively thin vest but still warm. Being thin it works well as a layer below a shell. I enjoy the freedom of motion i get from a vest (with no shoulder or arm constriction). The reflective surface inside the vest might be adding some heat too, it certainly doesn't hurt. Vest seems well built and is a nice length (I am tall and it doesn't ride up). January 15, 2013

A little snug at waist I wear a 42 jacket and 36 waist trouser, the POWERFLY fit perfectly for a 42 chest, but was just a bit snug at the waist. perhaps at the waist at the sides of the vest, provision might be made to allow an easing of the fit.Alternatively, the zipper might be be re-fitted with a two-way zipper, so that once the upper-most zipper is pulled up, the wearer might, while seated, or for other reason of comfort may, using the lower toggle of the double zipper, pull the second toggle upward; in so doing effectively increasing the waist dimension.I would enjoy learning if the decision is made to accept either of my recommendations. It would be a further encouragement to complete future requests for comment. January 12, 2013
