Great shirt
If you spend time fishing in the direct sun and dont want to get burned, this is the shirt for you. I use these while fly fishing for carp and these shirts keep me nice and cool. If you use this shirty along with a broad brimmed hat and a Buff, you are set as far and sun protection goes.
Frankly, i was really surprised at just how cool i was in a long sleeve shirt in the direct blazing sun. Even the slightest breeze gets through the fabric. I will always wear a shirt similar to this or the other PFG fishing shirts if i am spending time fishing in the direct sun.

I like these shirts for Warm Weather.
The shirts are light weight, hold their shape, wash & dry easily. They pack nicely and there are no wrinkles. I also like their UV protection. I bought three to take to Europe. I also wear them to fish in. They have great graphics.

L is an actual XL; way too big
Way too large for the suggested size that the measurement chart pointed to use. I was told that the fishing shirt run an extra size larger than normal due to your design to allow more movement, but I would argue that such a larger size would make it clumsier to move. I am a large, but your medium size is a much better fit. Next time, please advise that the size runs larger than proposed, or propose the correct sizing chart for the product. I am returning the Large. Thanks.

Men's Terminal Tackle LS
I’m a kayak tournament angler and these shirts are really unbeatable for long, hot Texas days. They are light weight, very comfortable, keep you dry and block UV rays. When I’m out on the water, I like to feel good and look professional, and these shirts allow both. I will be adding more of these to my Columbia arsenal!

Great shirt
This is a great shirt, I don't always take time to put on sun screen and fishing from kayaks I need something that is going to protect me from the sun sitting on the water, and this shirt does the job. It's soft and very comfortable. Great choice for anyone on the water.

What I expected.
Typcial Columbia product in that it runs large. I wear medium in every shirt I own from every other source...except Columbia. I have 7 Columbia shirts of different types and all are size small. Also believe that the price is high for comparable shirts. I own a number of short and long sleeve Adidas climalite and 3 surf-type board shirts with better features for a comparable price. However, I wanted a basically white sun shirt and Columbia suit the bill where other manufacturers didn't have what I was looking for at the time.

Comfortable and Functional
This shirt is a pleasure to wear! It fits great, not bulky, not restrictive, lightweight, and kept me cool and protected on a warm/ sunny day.

Great shirt for the heat!!
I love this shirt. I am on my boat 200+ days/yr and in Charleston, SC most of those days are 90 degrees and 90 plus percent humidity. This is the perfect shirt for those conditions it's light, dries fast and keeps you cool when wet and also offers sun protection. I'm a big fan!

Terminal Tackle long sleeve
I was looking for a comfortable light weight shirt with excellent sun protection. The Terminal Tackle shirt is very soft and comfortable. The wicking fabric keeps me cool and dry.
I only have one problem. The dress code at my day job doesn't allow for collarless shirts.

My favorite
This is my favorite Shirt from columbia. It is very thin and lightweight and will stand up to the SW Florida elements. I wear this shirt in the hot humid Florida summer and I will stay cool and do not have to worry about putting on sunscreen you WILL not get sunburnt through this shirt!

Excellent fishing shirt
This is my go to shirt for kayak fishing. I have no need for a shirt with lots of pockets because of my PFD so this shirt provides the wicking I need and keeps the sun off. I the winter it makes a good base layer for active activities. The sleeve lets people know you are rocking the best in performance fishing wear.

sun shirt SPF 50
Nice long sleeved shirt that is supposed to cut down on UV rays. Have earlier Columbia versions I prefer since they have no logo or writing on sleeves. Seems like race cars and shirts need to have all available space announcing something.

Great shirts
These shirts are great, lightweight and comfortable. I wear them in Florida guiding and can't get enough of them. I keep buying them so I have enough to wear everyday if I so choose. Cool designs too!

Shirt is great for kyaking.
We first tried this Columbia 50 sun screen shirt last summer. It was cool to the skin and did prevent the sun rays from buring the skin. The product also drys quickly, I would recommend this to our friends.

One great shirt
This is by far my favorite shirt from a day on the water, to in the office, a night out with friends, or just about anywhere. The materials are light allowing you to breathe, and be comfortable. The durability of the lightweight material is great. This shirt dries quickly, and provides good protection from the wind and sun.

Great all around outdoor shirt
I have 3 of theres shirts and use them when pre-fishing my bass tournaments (I have to wear my sponsor logo jersey during tournaments). I've used this long sleeve shirt this summer in 90 degree heat to protect my arms from the sun ... the shirt wears really coo on hot summer days. I also wore this shirt on a fly fishing trip to Canada.

Great Shirts!
I bought 2 of these shirts to wear trout fishing on the Little Red River in Arkansas and they work great in the morning to keep me warm from the cool breezes and fog as well as keep me protected from the sun when it gets high. These shirts are great and I would highly recommend them.

Great Shirt
Just went fishing for the first time in my new Terminal Tackle shirt. Was a hot, sunny one in East Texas and the white bass were biting. The shirt was great. Very light weight and cool and kept my arms out of the sun.

Great shirt
Have been really pleased with this shirt. We wadefish all the time here on the texas coast. This shirt dries quickly when out of the water and also keeps you cool on those sweltering south texas 100 degree days. I normally wear an XL but i wear a large in this shirt so it runs a bit big. Only downfall i have seen is that they stain too easily for my taste. A little bit of stain remover should be used before washing them.

Fishing shirt
I have several colombia fishing shirts and I love the way they feel and protect from the sun while staying cool. The fabric on this shirt is different and it actually looks funny when you have it on it will show all your chest hair as little bumps. It is not the same knit material of the other shirts :(. Colombia shirts run big so you might wanna consider buying one size smaller then you regular wear.

sun protection
bought the shirts after skin cancer diagnosis/treatment. i have found the shirt to be very good at protecting me from the sun and helping keep cool.
i coach an aau track team. our meets last for 8 - 12 hours. sun protection and staying cool in south carolina are important to me.

Brutal Heat
I have been fishing in 100 degree weather that last few days using this shirt. It protected me against the brutal sun and also kept me confortable while fishing hard for redfish all day. I will be ordering a lot more of these shirts soon.

Great Fishing Shirt
I love my long sleeve Terminal Tackle shirt. I love to fish and this shirt is light and protects against the sun. It also is very quick drying so I use it for other things around the water too. It is one of the best fitting shirts I have ever owned.

Great shirt!!
I bought one of these shirts from Bass Pro and absolutely loved it. They didn't have white, so I ordered the white one from Columbia too. It keeps you pretty cool considering you are wearing long sleeves. I live in SW FL and it gets HOT here in the summer. They run a little big, but I like these to be loose fitting to help keep you cool. I definitely would recommend this shirt!

Awsome Sportswear
All of the Columbia Sportswear is unbeatable. I am a Fishing Guide in Florida. The tempurature is 93 degrees today. The new technology in thes shirts is unbelievable. I never get to hot and the shirts obsorb the sweat. If that isn't enough the shirts clean up from the dirt and Blood like a champ.

Great shirt!
I wore this shirt a few days ago on the boat and everything that wasn't covered got burned. The shirt felt light and wicked sweat away from me all day and didn't smell bad at the end of the day. All in all great value for a great product.

These are great shirts but I highly recommend buying a size smaller than normal. They run big. Wish I had the time to exchange for the right size before my trip! Next time.

Didn't hold up well
I bought this shirt for my husband before a holiday with the family. He is sensitive to the sun. The shirt fit well and handled the sun as advertised. Problem is that there was a pull in the sleeve after the very first use leaving me with what appears to be a small tear.
Not sure how this happened but suspect he bumped up against something while walking around the pool. Neither of us can figure out what.
I would have expected the shirt to have held up better. Very dissapointing.

This is lighter than the skiff guide or freezer shirts and is very comfortable. It runs a little small as I take a large in other columbia shirts and I had to return it for an xl.

Perfect for on the water
I'm no fisherman, but I get just as much sun exposure on my kayak most weekends. The light Terminal Tackle fabric is very well suited to warm or hot days. It breathes and wicks away perspiration nicely. I recommend this shirt to anyone who likes the water.
