Waited Long Enough I have waited for years to get one of these, anddecided to get it now for the summer. I tried it on, and wore it ice fishing at Diamond Lake Oregon. Why ice fishing, because the weather was swim suit tanning weather that day. I will be buying another in white. February 6, 2013
Hat is for a gift My son-in-law loved this fishing hat, and just before Christmas the dog chewed it and ruined it. He wanted it replaced with the same hat. So I did!! December 25, 2012
Cheap This hat is lightweight but because of the material they used it would snag very easily, its cheap construction too. September 23, 2012
Best protection hat ever I have purchased many hats to help with sun protection. This hat is by far the best I have owned.....very light, comfortable, covers lots of sun exposed areas......a great product. September 10, 2012
Poor buid quality The bill of the hat is sewn on crooked. When wearing the hat the bill isoff to one side. I can not use this product. July 24, 2012
A little small My head is not an overly large one so I figured the "on size fits most" would be ok. I am just able to wear it as it is a little tight. I still am happy I purchased it. July 21, 2012
Hat is sized more for kids then adults I like this hat. It does keep your head cooler when you sweat (or get the hat wet like I did). The hat is too small for my head. I have to leave the adjustment all the way out else the hat is squeezing my head. Also the part that is ment to cover your ears and back of your neck only covers if there is no breeze at all. If there is any breeze it flips up and leaves your ears uncovered. I was constently pulling that part over my ears all day long. The Freezer hat is too small for my head. It is also too small for the 5 other male adults that tried it. It did fit the 3 children and 2 women just fine. Not sure if that will help in a one size fits all product.I ordered another hat (different material also a sun block hat) and that one fits perfectly. No isues with the size of covering anything. The other hat stays on myhead better then Freezer hat mostly becauesI could adjust it to fit my head. It is almost as if this hat is a different size. There is no size when ordering.I bought these hats to replace one that got 7 years ago. After all the fishing trips I wore the hat on and the washings the hat needed after the trips, the old hat stopped being as sun protecting as it was. My ears got sunburned. After 7 years I was not complaining. The old hat was that sail blue color. It is almost white from fading due to the sun and being washed so many times. July 17, 2012
Fabulous! Yes, I actually wore this hat for the first time doing Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim in the Grand Canyon. Yes. it kept me protected from the sun and cooler than I would have been otherwise. And the drawstring and clip (which I attached to the back of my shirt) saved my hat at least 3 times when strong winds would have flung it off my head into the Canyon.Back home in the NC humidity I wore it last weekend hiking in sweltering 90+ temps with high humidity. The Omni-Freeze is activated with water so I figured why wait for my sweat to activate it? I drenched it in the creek, put it on my head and let the cooling begin.I have never worn a hat hiking before this one because my hair usually protects my head. But I'm a believer now... A must for sun protection on the water! I picked one of these hats up at a local retailer to replace a previous model that was lost. This hat provides essential sun protection and the drawstring feature keeps it on your head while running the boat down the lake! July 4, 2012
Hat works well Adjustable so sizing isn't an issue. Keeps sun off face and back of neck really well. We're landscapers, so the coverage without the bulk is important. Head doesn't heat up as much as regular caps. Like the clip on back to keep it attached, nice feature. July 3, 2012
Right Idea, Wrong Fabric Almost everything about the hat is good, excepth the flimsey knit fabric, which has a cheesy feel, and the excessive graphics. As it is, this is only a sun hat and not good for general use. A harder waven fabric would work better under a variety of conditions and make this a great hat.Also, less branding/advertising graphics on the hat would be appreciated. June 29, 2012

PFG Hat I bought this hat to replace a prior PFG hat that survived maybe ten years of hard fishing, hiking, and camping. I was unsure about the one-size-fits-all cuz I have a big head (full of mush, no doubt), but it fit me. It's made well and I'd recommend it. May 26, 2012
Perfect All Around Hat This hat is awesome. It has a clip to keep it attached in case of strong wind. It has a draw string to adjust the diameter so it fits perfectly, it is cool, light, has a great SPF rating and keeps your head cool no matter how hot it is. I use it when I go kayaking and boating.
