Haven't gotten a chance to test this. It being summer and all I haven't had much of a chance to wear this. It fits a little small but overall the quality seemed excellent. July 13, 2012

Satisfying Gift I bought this hat for my mother as a Christmas present. She often walks or cross country skis in the winter, and many hats in the past would not completely cover her head and ears for total warmth. This hat does the trick -- is lightweight, snug fit, and pulls down over the ears. The soft fleece material is cozy and cuts the wind, and is still comfortable during aerobic activity. On top of this, I researched a number of other hats that were similar in style from other brands and found this one to be the most reasonable in price for the quality provided.Would recommend this hat to anyone! Nice hat, great customer service I got this hat for my wife for Christmas. Surprisingly soft and seemingly warm. Looks like it fits her perfectly. I ordered it pretty close to Christmas, and as we got closer, Columbia upgraded the shipment option for free. I thought that was admirable on their part. January 2, 2012

Great fit, fairly attractive, and warm. This hat is warm, relatively attractive, and it covers my ears, which some winter hats surprisingly do not do. I have a pretty small head and this hat fits me very well without a ton of extra room. If you have a large head, it might not be big enough. November 18, 2011

soft, little and easy to travel Such a soft, little compact hat that I can carry in my purse right along with me everywhere. I can't wear it for long periods of time because it makes my hair flat, but I love it other than that January 31, 2011

Sooo soft Love this hat! Fits perfect (at least for average size gal's head). Covers my ears and leaves just enough room at the top to look super cute. Colors are great too. Got it in blue and dark gray ("grill"). Both nice, but really like the blue. Kind of a bright cornflower color in person - just like it looks on website. Like this hat so much that I ordered more in black and orange (still waiting for those). November 24, 2010
