Love this fleece! I love these fleece jackets -- I now own 7! They are a perfect weight and so cozy. They are my winter uniform, worn over a turtleneck with jeans. They're also wonderful when Michigan summer evenings turn cool on Lake Huron!One thing that would make these even better would be to make the zippers two-way zippers. This would eliminate the lower edge bunching up when the wearer sits down with the jacket zipped. February 12, 2011
Worth the money! I was skeptical of buying a Columbia jacket. The price tag to me seemed a little too much. However, if you compare this jacket to the the North Face, the price seems quite reasonable. With price comes quality, and that is one will get with this jacket. This jacket is very comfortable and reminds me of my fleece blanket that I sleep with. Honestly, I do not see why any one would want to spend an extra $50 bucks for the same quality from North Face. A must for winter! And one more thing, I am a tall young lady (5'11) and very skinny. Finding jackets that are well fitting can be quite difficult. Not as shown I love Columbia fleece so when I needed a black jacket to wear for a new job I knew right where to go! For this position I cannot wear a jacket with any kind of logo that stands out so I was happy to see the Benton Springs full zip fleece in black had the logo in black stitching...however when it arrived although it fit great, I was so upset to see that the logo was in WHITE stitching...Grrrrrr. Why do you show a picture with the black stitching and then ship one with white? Not at all what I was expecting or wanted. May 7, 2013
Jacket runs small I would expect a Large to fit more like a 10-12 women's size and it fit more like an 8-10 size. I would have liked to have had the option to do an exchange but none was offered on the return form. Quality product if you can get the correct size. April 28, 2013
Looks Great on a Woman's Figure The cut on this fleece is outstanding on a woman's body! I am usually a size 4 in tops and I got the medium, and it fits perfecly, if a tiny bit snug. Definitely order a size up if you are unsure, and especially if you want the fleece to be loose enough for sweathers/other jackets underneath. April 26, 2013

Changed since last fleece purchase My last Columbia fleece finally had the zipper break after six years of repeated washing and wearing, so I came here shopping for a new one. I bought the same size as my old fleece, but the new one fits much bigger than the old one. I feel like I'm swimming in it. The wrists are also looser, which means if I have it on while my hands are in water, the ends of the sleeves get wet because they won't stay up. The color is also not how it appeared on the website. Mirage looks like a light gray with a tinge of blue on the website. In real life it is sky blue...definitely not a color I would have picked for myself. But it is warm and comfortable, which is the main point of a fleece jacket after all. April 8, 2013
Great jacket with even better fleece material now I have 15 Columbia jackets in all different colors that I've purchased over the years, with most of them being the Benton Springs full zip or the Benton Springs hoodie jackets. This latest version of the full zip jacket is even better than my old ones because they softened the fleece material so that it pills less and is warm and cozy to the touch. I wish all my old jackets were this soft! I'm 5'4", 115 lbs, and have a 34C bust and the extra small fits perfectly. They also nipped in the waist oh so slightly for a more feminine look and it's quite flattering. All around, a great jacket! April 4, 2013

Lightweight, yet warm and comfortable. I love this lightweight jacket that I can easily pack in my suitcase for travel without having the heaviness of a ski jacket, but still have the warmth that I can wear in the mountains hiking. I love it's soft fleece fabric and how comfortable it feels on that I can layer under a heavier jacket or over a sweater as well. I bought it in a larger size so I could layer it if I want to. It has elastic pull-string on the bottom to make it fit a little tighter. I was so pleased that it arrived so quickly and the service was excellent. Thank you. April 2, 2013

blue iris fleece I ordered blue iris & loved the color. It's more of a light purple (lilac) color than it appears. Overall, it fit perfectly (I'm 5'4'' about 130lbs) and I am considering buying more colors ...very affordable compared to the Northface fleeces. March 26, 2013
Sizing change A couple of years ago I ordered this exact same fleece in XL. So, I ordered two more in XL again. This time the fit was too big. I double checked my current fleece that fits the way I want it to, and it IS XL. I have ordered the large size, but the most disappointing part is that I had to pay the shipping for the return of the first order that did not fit. I find that highly annoying, especially since I was judging the sizing based on what I had purchased in the past. March 23, 2013
Nice, soft, comfortable fleece This is proving to be a great addition to my wardrobe. It's very comfortable to lounge around the house in and makes a great layer when going outside on a chilly day. I ordered it in black, which is really sort of a gray-black-- not a true, deep black. I usually wear a small to medium in jackets and even the small on me is a bit big, but it doesn't look bad. In fact, it's nice that it's a little long because I can bend over without worrying about showing any back. Overall a good-quality and useful garment. March 23, 2013

Love it. I have a Columbia 3 in 1 jacket that I purchased last year and it has the inner fleece that I would wear separately but did not really like because the bottom of the jacket did not have the bungee cord option. I purchased the Columbia Benton Springs because it does have the bungee cord option. It is wonderful. If it was not for the harshly cold winter we are having here in MN I would be wearing it every day. Also my other Columbia is a medium so I decided to choose the medium in Benton Springs also and it fits great.I am only giving a 4 star because I ordered the black color and it is more of a charcoal gray. My Girl likes it My girlfriend has been bugging me to borrow my fleece jacket. Even seeing her bring other brands to keep her warm. She always asked for my Columbia Fleece Jacket. So I decided to buy her own Navy Blue , medium jacket. On her birthday on a cold Wednesday morning in Miami . She puts it on and already fell in love with it. Perfect Jacket This jacket is perfect for everything. You can wear it for business or just for casual events. I am quite "busty" so I ordered a Large... it's a little snug but most things are in that area for me. Quality of the jacket is wonderful and it is much cheaper than the North Face similar item. Columbia - the gem of all fleeces! ,Love this style jacket. Have 2 others. Did notice that the navy has a slimmer fit through the midriff than my brown and fuschia ones. Still fits though just not as roomy. Always get compliments when I wear the fuschia one. Color matters - adds spice while one keeps warm! Avoid this kind of fleece I was about to return the jacket but had to donate it to a local charity as I had lost the return slip. I can not wear any fleece except Polortec. And then every one starts changing the style. Sorry it just DID NOT work for me. March 2, 2013

Disappointed I usually don't leave bad reviews. Bought for a mini vacation to the mountains & was very disappointed. The material is not soft or comfortable, felt like I was in a wool sweater. Just Perfect! I purchased this jacket to wear on my five mile walks that take me through various terrain. I wanted something light on my body that would keep me warm through the transition months. This jacket is perfect for that as well as those times when you are running quick errands and don't want the weight of a bulky coat. Great jacket I bought this fleece after much research, and when I found a great price for it. The fit is great--I'm 5'4" and 120 pounds with about 36" bust--and a small fit me well enough I could wear a sweater under it without problem, with plenty of room for my arms. It's a tad thicker than some of my other (cheaper) fleeces, which is fine since I'm always cold. I had a tough time deciding on the color, since there were so many to choose from, but the intense violet was a great color, not quite as vivid in person as it appears on the screen, but a very pretty color. Good for the price Fleece was lightweight and comfy, which was great. Fit was a little small but thankfully I was still able to zip it at my hips! Sleeve length was fine for me though the sleeves were too loose compared to the body of the jacket; while the body was slim cut (great!), the sleeves were puffy (not so great). Pity about that as I end up looking a little disproportionate... Will be using the fleece in colder weather soon but in a cold hall, it kept me warm. February 11, 2013

How to measure
- Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
- Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
- Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
- Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
