Great all around shorts
My husband and I spend 2 to 3 days a week doing all kinds of outdoor activities, so, I have been looking for a comfortable, versatile pair of shorts for quite some time. I had old favorites that have simply worn out. After many disappointments I found these shorts. The fabric is soft yet thick enough to keep their shape. The fit is flattering and made for a woman. I now have one in each color and love them all.

Perfect!
These shorts are great! Just the right length for me, sturdy, with a little give in the waist. They are shorts that you'll live in all summer long.

Not exactly pretty, but VERY comfy and functional!
My bf makes fun of me every time I wear them when we go hiking, but they are so comfortable and functional, I just promise him that I 'll only wear them on the trail! All the pockets are perfectly placed and just the right size!

Size is on the small side
I ordered a small which is 4-6. It seemed that the shorts were a size 4. So, if you wear a 6 in shorts get a medium. I sent them back an ordered a medium. I will let you know how the medium fits.

Too snug
Had to return this items as they were too snug. The quality and look of the shorts are great, but just a little to tight around the waist.

Great comfort & great looking shorts
I recently purchased 2 pairs of the Women's Brewha II Shorts and I am extremely happy with both! They are very comfortable, great quality, and great looking. I do a lot of biking and walking around and these shorts are perfect for both. The only slight negative I can say is that the inseam is a bit too long on one of the pairs I purchased, but it is in no way uncomfortable or unflattering (at least not to me). I would definitely recommend purchasing these shorts and plan on purchasing another pair in the near future.

Just right for hiking...
These are the perfect length for hiking, and fit as I had expected them to for a size small (4-6)...good pockets and very comfortable...glad I ordered two pairs!

Great Shorts
My wife is a preschool director and has only active days at work. She loves to wear the Columbia shorts to work. One small feature she really loves is the elasticized cell phone pocket.

love the pockets!
rugged, comfortable and good looking. I love these so much I have two of all the colors. Would like to see these in additional colors like gray, black and charcoal. Otherwise, don't change a thing.

Love love love these shorts
I've never found shorts I've liked better than these! I, too, wear them everyday (weather permitting) and they are perfect for hiking, biking, running the dog - and the pockets alleviate the need for a purse. The back zip pocket keeps drivers license and credit card secure, the big deep front pockets allow for toting of lip balm and whatnot - and, along with the elasticized side pocket for my iPhone, allow me to bring what I need without binding (esp. when bike riding). The outer front pockets help, too, with extras you don't want to be bothered by every time you put your hands in your pockets (doggy bags, keys, etc.) Perfect fit with the elasticized waist in the back, and just the right length. I've even bought these as gifts for others, I'm so impressed. THANK YOU COLUMBIA! (PS Please also offer them in black for next season!)

Great for Fishing!
These shorts are great for fishing. I fish a lot during the spring, summer and fall and the pockets are very useful. I especially like the rear elasticized pocket for a pair of pliers to remove hooks. Glad to find out these shorts can be ordered on line - they are hard to find in stores. I've had 3 pairs now and they hold up great with being washed many times. I also wear them for everyday wear (not fishing) and find them extremely comfortable. Will be ordering more of them on line now.

Great shorts!
I have been looking for cargo shorts like these for ages. As a golfer, I never have enough pockets. The pockets on these shorts are fantastic. In addition of lots of them, they are deep. The hip pocket has a zipper, so my wallet is secure.

nice fit
I purchased 4 pairs of the Brewha II shorts. They fit perfectly and are so very comfortable. I had gotten used to wearing a mens short, which are about knee length, so it is nice to find shorts which hit about mid thigh. I have worn them exclusivley since their arrival.

Brewha Shorts - A Perfect Purchase!
I ordered a number of pair of the Brewha shorts since I had purchased a pair in the past and absolutely love them! I ordered five more pair and am extremely pleased with my purchase! Over the years I have worn different styles of shorts however these ones fit me perfectly. I love having several pockets! They are durable, easy to wash amd are very comfortable. I wear them golfing; to casual events and any time I am out and about shopping or doing errands. I wear them every single day when weather permits. A super purchase!

Service great but product didn't fit measurements
I did consult your size charts, and the waist was fine but the rest of the fit was for a larger body. I REALLY MISS S'04 AL 4328 size 6 (I still have 2 pair). It's REALLY hard to find cargos with a waistline closure that fits nowadays. I've looked many places.

Love These
Bought these as a replacement for Columbia shorts that are now too big. These are shorter than I would usually buy, but I love the fit. I am wearing them RIGHT NOW. I would definitely buy more of this style in other colors. Plan to wear them a lot on my beach vacation.

Hadn't bought a Columbia Product in a decade...was really looking to duplicate my last shorts but couldn't find them. These are great! Did not disappoint! Wish they didn't button...but, I can manage!

Most comfortable shorts ever!
This order was received promptly and w/ no issues. The shorts fit perfectly and are definitely the most comfortable shorts I've ever owned. I plan on ordering a couple more pair in the near future.

Hiking On
Thanks again Columbia Sportswear for another piece of clothing that is exactly as advertised, fits perfectly and is durable. We hike Grand Canyon Rim to Rim every other year, Elkhorn Crest Trail, and multiple trails in the Pacific Coast area and these are by far the best shorts for me. They also look great when we pop in for a vegi burger at the local hot spot!!!

Not for me
I will keep looking out for different styles, because I have a pair of shorts (no longer made by Columbia) I found at a thrift store and love them! However, the Brewha II is too short in the rise for me. Otherwise, great quality shorts if they fit you.

No gapping on the backside
Every pair of pants or shorts I try on from every store seems to gap in the back. I finally found something from Columbia outlet that fits great ALL around my waist. Now if I could find some jeans...

Almost right
I just received my new shorts in an xl and they feel slightly tight. The size chart says they should be good for a hip size of up to 46 inches, but I truly do not think so. I have a hip size of 44 inches and they are slightly to the tight side of comfortable. I figure after wearing them for a day or so and the fibers stretch, they will feel fine. I will be careful when drying them for sure.

perfect if you can get it
I've had two pair of these shorts and I wear them more than anything else in my summer wardrobe, but I can't replace them because I can't locate them locally and the web site doesn't carry them in my size (med).
If you can get a pair you won't regret the decision.

Perfect Fit
I just received my shorts and they fit perfectly. First
pair in years that need no alterations. The quality is
excellent and it shows. The seams and stitching are well
done. I ordered xs as I have a 25 1/2 " waist. The info
said 24-26 " waist which was right on. There is a little
bit of elastic in the back of the waist band for exspan-tion if needed, Very true to size.
