Women’s Bugaboot® Plus Zip Omni-Tech® 4.2 5 5 5
right boot too big I could have lived with the left boot, but the right boot was significantly bigger in the front half, too boxy, and my foot was slipping out of the boot as I walked. Everything else about the boot seemed great, but I returned them. January 21, 2012
Warm but painful This is my third pair of boots this winter. I returned the Powdered Down boots, because my toes got cold in them. I bought the Bugaboots to replace them. My feet seemed warm, but in the 1/4 mile walk to the bus stop, time standing at the bus stop (just standing, not moving around), the 1/4 mile back, these boots pressed against my shin and ankles so much I have red marks on them. I think I could have dealt with the shin pressing, but pressing against my ankle bone was very painful. They are very stiff almost like a ski boot, I am not sure if more wear time to break them in would help, but I know boots shouldnt be painful. So back they go. I am very sad, I desperately need a pair of boots, to keep my feet warm and dry. I like to snowshoe and if I cant find boots to keep my feet warm, I am not a happy camper! January 13, 2012
Great Boots I purchased these boots because my feet are always freezing. So far they are warm and toasty (It has yet to snow) I bought a half size up to accommodate socks and they fit great. They are lightweight for they type of boot and easy to walk distances in. They have good treads to minimize slipping over snow and ice. Customer service at Columbia was amazing in recommending the perfect boots for my needs. I will keep you posted on the boots once it snows December 17, 2011
Bugaboot Review I really like this boot however I do recommend buying a size bigger. I normally wear a 9 but had to get 9.5 because they run a little tight at the toes. I love how I can just slip them on and go. No laces to deal with. I wear them mostly to go sledding w/the kids, shovel snow here in Alaska, and every day walking outside on the slippery icey surface. Haven't fallen yet. I do recommend long, comfortable, thick socks because when I zip them up they tend to rub on my shins. If I don't zip them I'm fine so maybe it's because I have thick calves??? :) November 22, 2011
Toasty Toes They should call these boots toasty toes. They're roomy enough for large socks, but so far I haven't needed anything but the boots for my feet to remain perfectly warm. I've even taken to wearing them inside, they're so comfy. I got to wear them in snow this morning and they were perfect. October 31, 2011
