Great shoe I bought these about a year ago and still love them. Lightweight, great colors and comfortable. They feel great with socks or no socks. The Omni-Grip really does work. Be careful if you wear them on a treadmill, you might get stuck =] April 12, 2013
Black marks everywhere! These shoes leave excessive amount of black marks on the floor. I do zumba in these shoes and evey step shows on the floors I had to stop wearing them. I thought it would stop eventually but the shoe is just wearing down instead. Never had a shoe do this to this extent. Very disappointed. March 21, 2013

Finally, a shoe for me! After searching for a functional yet appealing lightweight shoe, I'm glad to say YES I found one!!working in healthcare(nursing) and loving to dance/workout my feet and legs appreciate a great shoe and at my age:55; I need one! This shoe is very comfortable with my high arch, fitting snuggly where it needs to while allowing my foot to naturally expand. The shoe offers a great fit, easy to enter and remove, the laces are very comfortable to tighten and the shoe bed provides great support for eveyday use as well as when taking my brisk morning walks. Really fantastic overall When I received my new hiking shoes in the mail, I was a little nervous because ordering shoes online can sometimes end up disappointing. I was excited to open the box and see how great they look, and how well-constructed they are. I tried them on and was even more happy to find they were true to size and fit perfectly. I have worn them for hiking as well as for running....I am throwing out my old running shoes so I can use my Descenders instead. Color, materials, fit and construction have all exceeded my expectations. September 21, 2012
Descender These are great shoes. I love the pink! I find that Columbia shoes run about 1/2 small. If in doubt, order up. My only complaint is that I can't wear my insoles in them (Superfeet). They make a funny clicking noise that is too hard to ignore. Otherwise they are great. September 10, 2012

Women's Descender I bought these shoes for my first hike ever. !! We hiked for 8 hours and they worked and fit perfectly. I did order 1/2 size larger due to other reviews and I was totally happy with them. !! May 6, 2012
Sole Fell Apart Within a Week of Wearing The grip strips on the sole of my shoe started peeling off withing less than a week of wearing. I have only worn them to work and school where I walk lightly six hours. Otherwise they are very light weight, comfortable, and cute shoe that I have received many compliments on. I just think they should have held up better if they are designed for outdoor and active use. I was just walking. March 16, 2012
Great for walking around This shoe fits snugly and having a narrow low volume foot -- it fits like a glove and is true to size. The sole traction is fairly minimal, not a big deal but I have noticed the slippery factor. I haven't run in them so can't comment on cushion for anything other than long walks on pavement and they worked great! February 15, 2012

Walking on a Marshmallow I bought these shoes because I have heard so many good things about the spring version. I went up a half size because the shoes run a bit narrow, however I LOVE them.
