Love the pants, hate the 'rise' for normal middle-aged women
These are great lightweight pants (for upcoming travel) but also for around the house.
My gripe is a hopeless complaint about 'low rise' pants in general, as they're designed for women with skinny tight bellys. These pants, with their 'medium' rise, aren't as bad as some which I simply never order. But, at size 14 I have some lumps available to pudge over the top of the waist, which is uncomfortable. If the waist came to the waist and didn't cut across the belly, I'd love them.

Love this pant
I love this pant. I purchased the first one (in dark green) in outlet store. But it didn't have the right size for other colors. Then when I saw this online for my size, I immediately bought this black one. It can be wore in different ways, and it looks different. Also, it makes you look slimmer.

These pants really are just right!
Great cut; very flattering. Nice weight of fabric; lightweight but not too revealing. Resists wrinkles, stains and moisture. Super for travel can dress up or down and as active wear.

Love these pants!
This is my essential go-to pant. The GREAT fit and quick dry feature makes it perfect for travel. The fabric weight with just the right amount of stretch makes it a excellent hiking pant. And the styling makes it an essential wardrobe piece for work. This is just such a great, sublimely comfortable, all-around pant!

Just wrong, not right
The fabric is static-clingy and the seams inside are irritating to the skin to the point they are just unwearable. I am going to try to return them because I absolutely will not wear them.

Barely There
The material is extremely light weight. I was looking for a light travel pant, but I wasn't expecting such a light material. Plus there are no pockets. Can't carry anything.

I love these pants!
These pants are so comfortable and versitile! I love that I can wear the ankle lose, tight, or rolled up. I loved them so much, I bought a pair for my best friend's bday.

Light weight fabric
Great light weight fabric, fits a bit large though. Was hoping to wear with woolens for winter walking-too light weight, perfect for summer hiking or even kayaking or gardening so kept them.

Most comfortable pants!
I LOVE THESE PANTS! The are the most comfortable I have ever owned . . . super light weight, move great, water repellant, great fit. How about making them in a charcoal color, and an olive green would be nice too . . .

Great pants
Nice pants, long enough. Great for casual wear, or going out shopping, very comfortble, flattering. I got many compliments. I was not sure to get a small or medium, I got the small and they fit great!

Long Pants
I love the knee pant and have the shorts as well. I decided to try the pants so I could wear them all year long. I love them and love that they come in this dark forest green color. The only downside for me is that I am only 5'5 and have to roll these at the bottom. The good news is there is an easy snap to hold them up but wish they came in a short/ankle length.

Love these pants!
I bought these pants for hiking. It has been more rainy here in Ohio and these pants worked out perfect. I hiked in the rain on saturday and the water just beaded off! They are not very warm but I wore a base layer and was just fine! They have a little stretch to them so it was easy to wear two layers.

Comfortable, versatile pany
I wanted a pant for travel that I could use rolled up or down. This was it! Very comfortable with the gusset and overall stretch. True to size. Looks good on the trail or in town.

Great fit
The women's Just right Pant is a fabulous fit. Seemed a little thin for winter in the midwest but once I put them on they were so comfortable I did not want to change. Look is a little dressy for me but very flattering. I do wish they had deep pockets. The only pocket is a zipper flat pocket on the leg. Good for cash but not much else. I am 5' 8" and very long legged and have trouble finding long enough pants, these a a great length. Can easily be dressed up or casual. Please make more colors.

True to its Name
This product was true to its name. The pants fit great and are sewn to the right size. The color is the same as it is on the website. The only problem is that the quality of fabric is poor.

So comfortable and fit well!
I bought the grey pair a few months ago and loved them so much I also bought them in black recently. I'm 5'9 and wear a size 6 usually and these run true to size. I like that that they have stretch but don't stretch out. They also dry quickly. Only part I found unnecessary was the inside tie waist. I don't think it's needed.

I love these pants!
This is my 2nd pair of these pants. I really like the way they move with you and feel like you have nothing on. The only thing I don't like are the toggle pulls at the bottom. I am 5'8" and the pants are too long for me. So, I just cut out the pulls and took an inch hem in them. Perfect!

Not for the curvy girl
This is a beautiful pant both in weight and length and a great buy... BUT ... I wanted to be able to fit into this pant and tried both the size 6 and 8 but no luck. Straight means straight and if you are a curvy girl like me they may not fit.

it was gigantic all over. and even when i rolled the pant legs up and buttoned them, they still went all the way to the ground. and im not abnormally small. 5'4 120.

a pant with no pocket
I was diappointed that this pant does not have a real pocket that can hold things. There is a small zipped pocket on the left side as shown in picutre, but not much useful. Material is thin too.

One Pair is Not Enough
This model of active pants should never be discontinued , I bought multiple pairs so I would never be without. They are comfortable, all purpose, and very easy to wear. Whatever the day gives you , these pants perform.

These are great pants
I'm actually a petite size so I have to keep the bottoms snapped up. But these are great pants for hiking, walking, or just hanging out. They fit very well, are very comfortable, and wash great. I wish there were a few more colors.

Very comfortable
These are likely one of the most comfortable pairs of pants I've ever owned. They stretch and move easily for low/moderate activity. I never feel like they are hindering my movements.
I have very short legs. Folding these to the short length to be held in place by the snap makes them just a smidgen too short to be "full length" on me. However, by cinching the bottom cord at my ankle and letting the pant leg drape past it, they essentially auto-hem themselves. No dragging cuffs, no worries.
If these were available in another color, I'd by a second pair. :)

Not as amazing as I thought, but still good
The pant leg is nice, it fits my 5'10" length (a little on the shorter side, but I like my pants long too) and may large, ahem hips. which is nice and the drawstring inside helps. HOWEVER, I went to go try out the fasteners on the leg and snap! one of them broke. Probably a fluke and with some TLC it works.
Nice fabric will do well for camping

Great pants
I have trouble finding clothes that fit. I bought two pair of the capris style in a size 2 this summer and kept my fingers crossed that the pants were similarly sized. To my relief they were. Washes well. Nice fit and fabric too!

Fantastic Pants
These pants are great for hiking as well as wearing to work. They are stretchy and comfortable. The length is great (I'm 5'8"). They run just a tad large but not enough to exchange them. Hope they come in different colors soon!

A slender, flattering pant
I have these pants in several colors now. I have slender legs and hips and find these pants very flattering. The pants are a little long, as are all the Columbia R length pants, but not so much that I have to hem them. I'm not a fan of the elastic in the hem, which got under my feet, especially the slide button used to adjust the elastic. However, I simply cut that elastic out, along with the plastic adjustment button, and they hang straight and perfect. A great pant with just that one modification!

Great for Curvy Girl
These pants are a great discovery! I'm short (5'2"), with a big butt and thighs, and have a hard time finding activewear that fits and looks good. I ordered a size 14 regular, and they fit perfectly; just the right amount of stretch (not saggy/baggy), and the adjustable leg length (snap strap, drawstring) keeps them from dragging on the ground with flip flops or hiking boots. The rise is also comfortable - no binding in the crotch whatsoever. I'm thrilled to find pants that fit this pear-shaped woman.

My Go To Pant
I could live in two pairs of pants, both pairs are Columbia and the Just Right is one of them. These pants have a wide enough leg that I can throw some base layer underneath for the chilly winter months, and are the perfect weight for transitional seasons. I also love that they roll into capris for our six weeks of summer! They are a great weight, and the omni-shield provides an excellent amount of protection.

Perfect for everything!
I bought these last minute before I went to Alaska for a week long active trip - because they were on sale - and who doesn't need a pair of black casual pant? They exceeded my expectations- they are soooo comfortable and you can wear them as an under layer hiking - or they even could be dressed up a bit to go out at night (at lease in Alaska or the northwest) I actually signed back on to get another pair - but no other colors.

Not what I thought
These pants fit well enough, though the adjustable hem and drawstrings at ankles are awkward and cancel out what would otherwise be a trim look. Some instructions on where to put the rather unsightly drawstrings would be helpful.

Could not have done without them!!
I LOVE these pants! I wore them for 10 days straight hiking up Mt. Kilimanjaro and could not have done without them. Thank goodness I bought them, truly! They're super lightweight, stretchy, and have a great flattering fit. Not too high-waisted like most hiking pants, but not too low either. The zip pocket in front was very useful, as were the bungee cords at the bottom of the legs -- it meant I could tighten them down over my hiking boots to keep the scree and dust out (it therefore saved me the hassle of gaiters). LOVE them!

Eureka!
I hike long distance, ultra-light so the few items I bring need to have a lot of versatility. I never thought I could find this but I wanted 1. a stretch hiking pant for comfort and ease of movement 2. very light weight so I can hike in warm weather without getting my legs scratched and burned 3. water resistant so I can hike in the rain with just a poncho. I have not tested this yet in the field but I was amazed that it had everything I wanted. I work so I can only go on one long distance hike per year but I can't wait to give it a test next year! It is very comfortable. It's like going naked! I have to resist wearing it now so I will have it for my hike!!!!

Very nice outdoor pants
Just what I was looking for. A nice comfortable pair of pants to wear for travel and hiking but also nice enough to wear around town. I really appreciate the draw string to tighten up when needed. Nice styling and good fit.

Most comfortable pants ever!
I love these pants! I'm 5'3" and I ordered a regular length. Should have gotten a short...but I still love the pants :) They dry quickly and are super soft to the touch. Flexible and excellent for hiking in the desert. I haven't tried them out in brushy areas yet. Not too sure I want to eitehr, because the material may not hold up too well in stickery bushes. I recomend them for desert hiking, walking, camping...traveling....THEY ROCK!

Do What You Say Kind of Pants
The fit is slightly bigger but the drawstring inside gives flexibility. They protect yet I stayed cool. I was hesitant of the black color but it didn't matter. The first time I wore them, it was 85F outside.

Should have ordered more.
I really hope Columbia will make this pant again next year because I should have ordered more. Was SO disappointed when I went on-line to order more and they were out of my size. I have two pairs and I live in them. They are the most comfortable pants I own. I think they are dressy enough to wear to work, no doubt. Really, Columbia - do this again next year and I will order more. LOVE THESE PANTS. THEY LOOK GREAT! FEEL GREAT! Lots of compliments as they are very flattering.

Perfect pant
These pants are amazing. So light weight and comfortable. The fit is perfect, as the drawstring inside gives me a perfect fit. I wear a size 14 I'm 5'8" and 168...I found them in grey at the outlet mall....would buy them in every color. I've washed my black ones at least 25 times they still look great, faded justs a bit...they do run a little bit long but there's a stap to shorten them.
