Great light and fun shirt I love this shirt! it's very light has functional pockets and fun plaid prints. Does run just a little small so size up if you need the extra room up in the chest area or at waist. I am 5'3 and about 145Lbs usually a size 12 but order a Large. very comfortable. I have two and colors stay nice and bright wash after wash. My daughter is 5'6 and wears size 4 she pushased the Small and also fit perfect. May 1, 2013
Lovely shirt, but snug through the area above the waist. So well made. Great details. Gives up wrinkles quickly. Very neat and nice looking. I am older with an okay waist but muffin top. I would get an XL next time just for that. It fits wonderfully except for that area. April 14, 2013
For travel Looks good, fits well, but am bit dissapointed in that it will need ironing, washed in cold, dryer for 20 min,then on hanger (wrinkled). January 12, 2013
Great Design The shirt is perfect for warm weather. The vents are comfortable and functional. Columbia is almost a perfect fit for me. I wish there was a little more room across the bust and in the arm pits. December 7, 2012
Loved it - but it didn't fit I absolutely loved this shirt, but the fit was not right in the chest area, even after trying a size up at a Columbia store. They were great about letting me exchange it for a different shirt, though, so I left happy with the outcome. November 2, 2012
This shirt is great! This shirt is soft, feels great, fits great, wicks sweat, and keeps me comfy. I wear to to my office job and my job in a ski shop. I would definitely recommend this. your best friend in the sun This shirt is a must have for hiking. Thus far, it's been with me on oversees hiking trips and domestic backpacking trips. I love the fabric, the venting and the sun protection. I especially appreciate that the shirt has a little bit of style to it -- I can transition from the trail into the city without looking like I just walked out of a safari. I just wish the bottom of the shirt had a tiny bit more width in order to fit over my hips. I purchased the men's version of this shirt for my fiancee; he absolutely loves it. October 10, 2012
Love this shirt and the other Columbia shirts like it. My Dermatologist recommended these shirts a few years ago so I now have five of them but the recent purchase is the first plaid. If you have blue eyes the blue plaid really looks great. I wear them primarily for sun protection but the blue plaid looks so great that I sometimes wear it in the evening. The extra large in the solid is a great fit for me but the plaid is slightly snug. September 25, 2012
Shirt The shirt was way too small so I had to return it thus paying more postage. I asked on the return slip to have a larger size sent so I'm hoping that happens. September 16, 2012
Significant snagging I loved this shirt - the way it fit (perfect XS), the way it felt, the way it looked (I got the blue plaid). But after the first wash, there was significant snagging and pulling with several spots having inches of thread ends exposed. The bottom of the shirt looked puckered, compared with the crisper looking top, but that's minor compared with the unsightly snagging. I have a front loading washer so agitation in minimal. I don't recall anything unusual in the rest of the wash; no other article was snagged. Perhaps it snagged on its small velcro tab? I'm so disappointed because I really did like this shirt otherwise. Good choice I like the shirt a lot--wish Columbia made a Silver Ridge pant that coordinated (navy?). I have worn it to walk when the weather started cool and ended sultry. It is cut nicely, with some fitted styling. Only complaint is that with one washing it lost some of its crispness and needed some ironing. I hoped it would look new longer! August 1, 2012
Great top Bought this top for the SPF factor...love the light feeling of the material...will be great when I go to Aruba in two weeks. I was right in the middle of getting a medium or a large, Im glad I went with the large, it looks very feminine but I can still move around easily in it. Not one of their best shirts, but still good This is a beautiful shirt that feels good on. I like technical clothes and appreciate the mesh pockets, sun protection, omni-wick, button-up sleeves, and zippered security pocket. There are some disappointments though. I usually wear a large but needed an XL. (I am 5'4" and 150 lbs) Even in XL, the shirt gaps open between buttons when I sit down. The inside pocket has no fastener so I don't trust it for carrying anything important--which defeats the purpose of having a hidden inside pocket. The inside pocket placement is inconvenient and cannot be reached without removing the shirt. Columbia, you can do better than this. June 7, 2012
Great Features! I used this shirts for work while working in the field to keep my skin away from the sun and bugs. It is super light weight and is acually quite cooling in the 90 degree hot desert Utah sun.I really like the extented coverage on the wrist to help cover the tops of your hands from the sun and the extended collar as well. fabric "balls" I wore my shirt once and laundered it according to label instructions. It came from the dryer with little fuzzy balls on much of its surface. January 20, 2012
