Women’s Wind D-Ny™ Fleece Jacket 4.8 5 6 6
D Ny not for me but still a great buy! I was looking for a specific type of Fleece and thought I had found it in this item. However I was incorrect in my assumptions. While the windblcok and Omni-Heat technology was a big plus and two of the major reasons I bought the jacket for running. I found the sleeves to be about a 1/2 inch to long for my comfort and the outside material to be a little stiff. I am very much into soft materials and being able to move quickly as I work with toddlers. I feel like the stiffer material did indeed keep the cold wind out/heat in when I tried it on and hopped outside in 12degree weather. I was happy with the quality of the item, stitching, technology, and sturdy zipper track and would recommend this item to anyone who wants a winter running fleece or esp to parents who watch outdoor sports and need an extra layer of protection from the elements. I have already returned it to the store and bought a different Columbia FLeece and am considering buying a Therminator to see if that it the running jacket that would be best for me. February 5, 2013
Best Jacket EVER! I am moving to Vancouver Canada and was looking for something to stop the wind off the coast. This jacket does so much more than that! I am 5'10" and have a hard time finding jacket that cover my wrists. This jacket goes right to my wrist. It is one of those jackets that you can dress up or down. I wear it with sweats or sweaters and jeans. The arms are fitted but loose enough for jackets underneath. The length is great! It goes about two inches past the top of my jeans. It blocks the wind beautifully but the hand pockets are open mesh. The wind can come up through the bottom of the jacket but that is why there are little draw strings along the bottom. Love the protective fabric over the zipper, never catches my skin. The omni-heat is magic as usual :) The water resistance is better than expected. Stood in rain for an hour without anything seeping through! I would recommend this jacked to anyone and everyone!! January 28, 2013
Very warm light weight jacket. Awesome coat with true wind barrrier and the omni heat so very light weight. The only complaint I have is that I have never successfully been able to get the actual color in the particular style I want. I had an expiring coupon that i wanted to use so I wasn't able to wait and see if the dark plum would become available. January 23, 2013
Good looking jacket This jacket is very form-fitting, and seems to run quite small. I often wear a small top, and so I ordered a medium in this jacket. Unfortunately, it was tight across the chest and shoulders and I had to return it. The large was not in stock, but I will keep checking and if it is offered again, I will order a large. This item is light-weight, but seems that it will keep you very warm given its construction. Bring on the cold! This is going to be a great product to use during outdoor activities when the weather turns lousy.....we're just waiting for that to happen. Flexible nad not constraining at all, yet really warm. October 23, 2012
Toasty and fashionable.... I bought this because my husband found a Grade Max in a men's size and I couldn't find the same in women's. I liked the active fit, which leave just enough room underneath for a sweater or a half-zip fleece on top of a thermal base layer. It compliments my curves but is not restrictive.I LOVE the omni-heat. The more I move around, the warmer i get...but I don't get sweaty cuz it breathes. I'm all Columbia now...and every Columbia jacket or fleece I buy has omni-heat. It's amazing. This looks different from other fleeces and I get compliments on it wherever I go. It really does block the wind completely, even though it's not very thick overall. I have never had a jacket this thin that totally blocks all of the cold wind. I don't know how they do it. :)Overall I'm very pleased. It's a very unique look and it does everything Columbia says it should do. October 12, 2012
