Rated 5 out of 5 by We have a winner! I'm 6'9" and have a hard time finding larger sizes in store. I purchased a 14w online and am so thankful I did. These boots fit beautifully. They are light weight, provide good support, and have traction. I have already cut 2 cord of firewood in them and hiked 10 miles setting up trail cams for the upcoming hunting season. They feel like a tennis shoe on your feet but perform like a boot. September 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excactly what I was looking for Boots are well constructed and very comfortable. I have difficulties when purchasing new shoes/boots due to foot surgery in the past which has left me with one flat foot while the other has a normal arch. As a result I now wear wide width shoes as opposed to medium width. I purchased this pair of boots a half size larger (11.5) due to reviews I read stating that they run a little small to size. I do believe that this was unnecessary and that had I purchased the usual size that I wear (11) the boots would have fit just fine. With that said, for me a half size larger is really not that big of a deal, especially since I purchased these boots for cold weather use with which, in most cases, I will be wearing a heavier/insulated sock. I also wear fitted inserts due to the afore mentioned foot surgery which are usually thicker than the average manufacturers foot inserts that come with most shoes. Overall, I am quite happy with the online purchase, delivery time, price and quality of the boots. September 16, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Waterproofing didn't perform. My first day in these boots I was walking through tall grass in the morning and my feet became completely saturated from all the dew. I really expected them to perform better. July 11, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hiking boot This is about the best pair of hiking boots I have ever bought. They are of exceptional quality, have an excellent tread, and are light. The only thing I would change is to make the tongue a little longer - the laces almost roll over the top when laced on the top cleat. May 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Work boots Best boots for work and snow. April 20, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Wide width isn't wide enough These are great-looking boots, but if you order the wide width, realize they run narrower than other wide shoes. Getting a half-size larger might work, but then they may be too long. I'm bummed I can't wear them. March 28, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great show Bought for hiking but since all black wore to work to see if feet could go the day and they did. Very light weight March 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by A product worthy of the Columbia name. I've worn these boots for a majority of this winter. They've stayed both warm & dry for everyday use. They broke-in quickly, and are pretty comfortable, for an all-weather boot. March 8, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by All around good boot On my first pair of Columbia boots. -Waterproof has held up over a year - insoles are still comfortable -nothing coming loose etc -Tops could be a little higher - for my liking. -The leather gets VERY HOT in the summer, being in TX and traversing solid rock in the middle of summer, boots get hot. That's my only complaint. That is expected though - looking into a different material for a "summer" pair. February 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Men's Boots Bought these for my husband. Bought size according to reviews. OOPS! Had to return for 1/2 size smaller. These fit just fine. Great boot! Got them the same week that returned others! February 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hiking boot I can't believe how light weight and comfortable this boot is. And it looks great for casual wear as well. December 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by My first pair will not be my last. This is my first pair of shoes from Columbia. Initial impressions were good. However the longer I wore them the more I like them. These are the best shoes for winter I have ever had. My favorite part of the shoe is how soft the tread compound is, these shoes have grip for days because of it. I do not slip on hard packed snow or ice like I used to. The shoes were slightly stiff out of the box. In one day of even 10 degree weather they were broke in and were as comfortable as anything I have had. The fit is slightly small, I usually wear a 11.5 wide and I tired a 12 wide. I am glad I did. They fit perfectly so a 11.5 would have been to small. Here in Wyoming it might not snow the most but it gets plenty cold and icy. I work inside and out about a 50/50 mix so I need a shoe that works in the weather and looks good in the office. These are fantastic shoes, I would buy them again, and plan to when these ones wear out. December 2, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great boot Fits well...comfortable November 28, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good walking boot I ordered a wide size and it fit perfectly straight out of the box. A bit stiff in the upper, but I attribute that to the need to break them in. It's not a solid leather mountaineering boot but more a solid walker/hiker. So far I've logged about 50 miles. October 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoes Use for yard work. Comfortable, and light weight September 27, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Average Boot I bought this boot to commute to and from work. It's waterproof which I needed for the rain and lite snow. But it's not the most comfortable boot, it's average. I definitely wouldn't walk in them all day. I think it should have been built with more cushion inside. Also I'm sure on it's long term reliability yet. September 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hiked Mt. Fuji Bought these boots about a month ago. They were comfortable right out of the box; but really broke in to sneakers like comfort in 2 or 3 days. I wore them this past weekend to climb Mt. Fuji and they held up great. After a full day of walking through pretty rough terrain I had no pain, discomfort or injury. I really like these boots and highly recommend them. July 6, 2015
