Cute Jacket
I think this is a very cute, lightweight jacket. However, I am not giving it 5 stars because it says that it is “fleece-lined” but it is not fleece lined in the sleeves. Other than that, great little jacket!

Warm enough for late fall!
Bought a size Small for my kindergartener and there is room to grow. The sleeves are a little long but I am hoping this means she can wear this jacket next year, too. She can comfortably wear a sweater or sweatshirt under this but has not needed to so far. The jacket keeps her warm and dry even with the temperature dipping into the 30s.

So happy, I bought again
I live in New England so layering correctly is key more often than not. This jacket is pretty much ideal for 10 of 12 months of the year and my pick for both of my kids. Especially in spring/fall when its 30 degrees in the morning and 60 degrees in the afternoon. It can handle both temps and if it gets too warm, can easily stuff into a backpack.
When its frigid out, this wont cut it entirely with the light fleece lining, but its fully waterproof, windproof and fits easily over a tshirt or sweatshirt without being bulky. The wind and the rain are whats going to get you first in the winter and this covers both comfortably down to 25*F in my opinion. On winter days the kids just layer it with a fleece and its OK more often than not. My son confirms. Durability is a major pro as well as my kids put it thru the wringer. Very well made. Now if my kids would stop growing!!

By the picture I was expecting a little bit thicker jacket but overall is very nice quality the outside shell seems like it will be a little water resistant however the inside is a thin fleece layer for chilly days true to size and my five-year-old Thats normally in a 5T is in an extra small so that’s awesome :)

Great jacket for my daughter!
We live at a high elevation so when it rains it gets chilly. I’ve been looking for a lined rain jacket that will keep her warm. This jacket does that and more! It’s cute and functional. She is almost 4 and I got the XS for her to wear this year and next. I just roll up the sleeves a little for now.

Great Value!
This jacket will serve our needs year round! The fleece lining is light enough to wear this as a rain jacket in warmer weather but warm enough with long sleeves to be worn through winter in our temperate climate. The quality is high and it washes well. We are very happy with this purchase!

My go to coat for kids
We have been buying this coat for years everytime our kids outgrow a size. It is our " go to " for every day spring and fall. It washes nicely, colour doesn't fade and is waterproof and is cozy without being heavy. I love the fleece lining in the coat, keeps my kids warm and dry. If I could give it 10 stars I would! Perfect for Canadian Spring/Fall weather!
I bought 3 of these gorgeous jacket for my family. 2 for my daughters and 1 for myself. size XS for my 5y.o. is large for her, but its ok. I just fold the arm length, and it fits her fine. She'll be using the jacket for a couple years. size S for my 7 y.o. is the perfect size for her. and size L for myself, as i am petite 5'2". It keeps us toasty warm and dry with our hoodie underneath. The colors are really beautiful, and that it is very easy to clean after their play outside. Nice as expected from Columbia.
It's a really nice jacket. Solid coat for cool and wet weather. Very well made. Waterproofing is good however I wish that the fleece lining went all the way into the sleeves and the pockets as well it's only around the body and the hood.

Perfect jacket
This is a great jacket to help transition between seasons. Not too heavy, but warm enough to keep the chill of cool or rainy days away. The color is great and the fit is good. I sized up since my daughter was at the end of one size on the chart. It’s a little big but that’s good. Quality is great. She has already worn it a several times and it’s become her go-to on warmer winter days.

warm when windy dry when it rains
I looked at many rain jackets... before buying this for my son and then for myself (yes it fits women 5’6”, 150 pounds)
This is the only jacket I have come across with light fleece lining, that feels good getting into!
My son biked back from school in pouring rain completely dry!
I still don’t know why adult sizes are priced 3 times for jacktes with velcro (am not a fan of velcro it pulls at all other clothing)
This is an excellent product!

Columbia has great quality clothing
I first purchased a raincoat on Amazon with a cute design but when it arrived I pulled it out of the bag it smelled like plastic polypropylene to be exact the smell was overwhelming I immediately shoved it back in the bag for return and remembered the fleece jacket it purchased from Columbia and loved it so I when to Columbia.com and found the cutest lavender raincoat. When it arrived outstanding quality and will last for years I plan on giving it to my younger daughter when she’s big enough but she’s 3 months old. True to Columbia what outstanding quality for $40 dollars for the Black Friday Sale. I would definitely purchase again even if it wasn’t on sale the quality is so great Thanks Columbia.

Great coat!
This is a great coat! I bought this for my daughter. Her only major requirement that it be packable. She says it has to be able to go in to her backpack while at school and it does! She came home one day without wearing it and she said she forgot it was in her backpack because she still had so much room in the backpack. She also loves the light purple/soft violet color. My requirement was it be warm enough because she has cold air induced asthma. It is very warm even though it's thin. So mom and kid both win. She's a very tall & thin 4th grader, 4'10", 83 lbs, and we ordered a size large. It fits her long torso and arms perfectly. She also likes that it goes past her bottom to keep her extra warm. We live in the Houston, TX area and it gets down to freezing, around 32°F, at times.

Great Jacket
This is my third jacket from Columbia and I love it all. This Explorer Jacket is lightweight and waterproof, very good for hiking and traveling. I am a Pettit person, so kids size L fits me very well. I travel to Asia pretty often and a waterproof jacket is needed due to the weather. And I easily put it in my backpack no matter I go hiking or any outdoor activities since it’s lightweight. I would highly recommend this product!

I bought this jacket in 3 different sizes for my kids. I love that the outer fabric is a little thicker and more sturdy that other raincoats they have had in the past. My only complaint is that the fleece lining doesn’t extend down the sleeves to make it better for spring and fall temperatures. The coats fit below the waist and covers the butt, keeping more area dry.
