Rated 1 out of 5 by Givemeabreak from Stitching is coming apart... Two months in and the boots are falling apart. Stitching on the left boot is failing and already have holes. My last pair lasted 10 years before this started to happen. I contacted customer service over two weeks ago and have heard nothing at all. Will never buy another Columbia product again. Use to be a good company with good products. Very, very disappointed all the way around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mortimer from Exactly what i was looking for I bought these boots to replace a pair of very beloved Columbia hiking shoes that have served me faithfully for almost 10 years. After many miles and repairs it was time for something new. These boots are wonderful. They are comfortable, very well made, and surprisingly lightweight! They are breathable without letting my feet get cold, which is a big plus in New England. They have fantastic traction and ample cushioning for longer treks. I'm very impressed with my purchase and would happily recommend them to anyone in the market for hiking shoes!

I've been hiking for years now, but I cannot recommend these to others because of the discomfort after long periods of wear. Overall, the shoes are breathable and waterproof like advertised, but I cannot recommend them for someone who cannot tolerate too snug of a fit.

They provide good ankle support but aren't too stiff, and he even wears them as every day shoes when he's got to be outside or work near job sites, etc. They quickly became our new favorite boot for everyday hikes or even life.
