Women’s Bugaboo™ Interchange Jacket is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 177.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from excellent outer shell, inner shell disappointing The outer shell on the coat is good. I am pleased with the material and the sizing. On the other hand the inner shell is a disappointment. I was expecting the fleece to be a nice quality Columbia product that could be worn as a separate piece, but instead it is little more than felt. I will probably use one of my regular fleeces as a lining and throw/give the other away. I am definitely glad I didn't pay full price. And am only recommending because the outer shell is what I expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what she wanted! Bought this for my teenage daughter - her first Columbia jacket is still in perfect condition but after 3 years she wanted something a little different. The colors are perfect - the pink is very vibrant against the grey - it fits PERFECTLY.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great winter coat I live in Michigan as the winters are quite cold. This jacket has been very warm. Great for being outside in the snow

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for winter This jacket is pretty warm. It was a great purchase but it does run a little large. I had to exchange it for a smaller one. Overall though good material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Jacket I purchased this jacket with the upcoming winter in mind and I couldn’t be happier. It keeps me warm and the two layers are an excellent feature. I’m 5’6, 140lbs and the Medium fits perfect with a little extra room for a shirt under it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I was really impressed that the warranty on the Columbia products takes care of malfunctions... My zipper broke and Columbia graciously replaced the entire jacket!
Date published: 2017-12-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lived up to my expectations! I wanted something that I would be comfortable in, could move around in and still keep me warm. This jacket lives up to my expectations. I am able to use the liner where I live in Texas and the full jacket in Colorado where it is colder. The jacket is true to size and not overly baggy. Made me still feel feminine even in a 'thicker' jacket. Would recommend

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Feels kind of thinner and softer than 3-1 parkas in past. Ordered one for my wife preparing for a ski trip. She always wear S for Columbia's clothing so I ordered same size for this jacket. When it arrived and she was a little disappointed because it's so big than she can barely stick her hands out from cuffs when pointing arms downward. Had to initiate a return and replace process. In terms of quality of the jacket we received, it's pretty OK made but the whole jacket feels noticeably lighter than you would expect for a 3 in 1 ski parka. Heard saying that garment manufacturers always making different versions of products for their factory stores which has different size and quality comparing to standard products. I don't know if this is the case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic coat! This is only my 2nd winter coat in 20 years - the previous one lasted that long! This is the warmest, most durable winter coat I have ever owned. When all layers are worn, it is perfect for sub-zero cold, the inner layer is great for fall and the top layer is perfect for spring. Worth every penny!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Coat! I enjoy the coat that I received and ordered. The color is very nice along with the warmth. I do miss the thumb holes on the sleeve that my old coat had but this one doesn't have those.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great cold weather jacket Although I have not needed to wear this jacket yet, I can say it is true to size, high quality and incredibly warm. I am looking forward to wearing it on those bitter cold New England winter days.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A step back in quality, in my opinion. I owned an older style Bugaboo and was very happy with it so that's why I bought this one. When I tried this one on, however, it just didn't feel as well made as my first one. It felt oddly bulky in the mid section and I was wearing it with a sweater. The outer shell didn't have enough pockets - if I am outside cleaning snow I like a chest pocket for keys to equipment and/or phone. The fleece underneath also feels cheaply made and now the cuff has no elastic to seal out snow. I probably wouldn't have worn it alone. I purchased this with the intention of using it to go out in the snow for cleanup, casual outings, playing with younger family kids outside, and maybe a rare ski trip. I can't speak to warmth or how waterproof it is, as I have decided to return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for snow sports! I bought this jacket to use during my first snowboarding trip on a glacier in Austria. Color me highly impressed! I was so worried about being warm enough I layered x3 underneath this jacket with regular, non-thermal cotton shirts and almost ended up too warm! Once I removed some layers, I gained some flexibility and found that the jacket did all the work! I never sweat and I never felt a breeze through the jacket, even when I was tumbling sideways down the slope while learning! I'm 5 foot 3 inches tall and about 115 lbs and found that even the XS ran a bit on the larger side, but with the adjustable pulls around the waist this wasn't a problem for keeping out the cool air. The only issue I had was, when zipped all the way to the collar, the collar came up over my mouth. Over time, the zipper in the collar rubbed against my chin just enough to cause a small irritation. A little Vaseline solved the irritation and some adjustment with the positioning of the collar solved the rubbing, so I don't count this against the jacket itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOMEN’S BUGABOO™ INTERCHANGE JACKET I usually wear size large in jackets because I like them to have a little extra room. I ordered this jacket in a large but it was a little to snug for my liking. I returned the large and ordered an extra large which fit much better. The return process was very easy and not a huge inconvenience. I would say to anyone ordering this jacket to get the next size up. I love the jacket itself it is very versatile and high quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very light weight I love the jacket. True to advertising, keeps you warm and dry without overheating. Only thing missing for me is I wish the inside jacket (liner) had a hoodie. Other than that it's a great purchase. I usually wear a small, but I purchased a medium so I could wear bulkier sweaters underneath and it was a good choice. Medium is perfect. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm I got this coat to replace a 20 year old Columbia coat. This new style is less bulky yet warmer for our Minnesota winters.
Date published: 2017-11-03
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still very new What was so terrific about this jacket is that Columbia honored their warranty and replaced a jacket that had worn cuffs. I have had the jacket for only a month so can't really say much about wear at this point. However, I can say that I like the style which will get me through the changing weather here in Washington. The liner seems thinner than previous styles, but the heat trap system does keep me warm. Love the interchange styles and this color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product with a great design I always impressed by Columbia products. During online order, the detailing is so amazing that I never have return or complaint. Sizes so perfect as if it was invented for me... cozy, elegant and most important comfortable and presentable. When logo is on front, it's give you pride of a prestigious member of Columbia wear family .. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Women’s bugaboo coat I absolutely love this coat! It is really warm and is nice because you can wear it as the fleece jacket or add the outer shell for added warmth and protection. Columbia coats are my first choice when looking for winter outerwear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new jacket I have to say,I was nervous it might be snug- but it fits perfectly with room for a sweater! I love it! I haven’t worn it in the rain yet, but this week I will be able experiment. I needed a versatile waterproof jacket for school & this jacket is perfect for the cold days outside with kiddos and for warmer rainy days! Great jacket!!
Date published: 2017-10-07
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Functional! This jacket is everything I need, I just wish it was a bit more flattering. Maybe a waist chinch or something - I almost sent it back because it looked so big, until I put it on and realized it's my size, just kind of boxy. Cinching the wrists helped bc the arms are way too long for me, but I need it in the hips. Bought this for walking my puppy on cold/rainy days/nights, so it'll be perfect. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winter coat I absolutely love this coat. It keeps you warm. I love how you can take it apart and turn it into a jacket. It's great quality and lasts a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value & Excellent Product The jacket was perfect for skiing or snow boarding. 3 in 1 jacket system is thw way to do it, you could remove inner jacket if the weather gets too warm or zip on that inner jacket if it gets too cold. It does a great job at keeping the snow and wind out of your body. Colors combination and design is stylish and timeless.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Short on features Not as warm as my last interchangeable jacket. Also I miss the inside and left breast pockets

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket Great fit - love the zip out warm lining so that it can be used just as a light rain jacket. Very nice!
Date published: 2017-03-01
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very warm This coat looks great. Fit is wonderfull - not too tight or too lose and plenty of room to MOVE. However, this coat is not at all warm enough for a MN winter. I've had Columbia coats in this style before, and they have worked well. Maybe there was a redesign? If you are looking for something really warm - keep looking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the coat, but runs big I have had a Columbia Omni-heat jacket for years and love it! I was looking to upgrade to one that was omni heat and Omni shield/water proof. The coat I wanted to replace was a small, so that's the size I ordered. I LOVED the color combination and was so excited when it came in the mail. When I tried it on, it was almost as big as the medium I had tried on in store. I would have exchanged it for an extra small one, but at that point they were out of extra smalls! Bummer...maybe next year!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it This jacket is not actually fitted at the waist. Otherwise, I really like it. It has princess seaming, so I bet it will be easy for a tailor to take in at the waist. The size chart says I'm size M, but M was huge on me. I got a size small next, which fit better in most ways. I can still wear a sweater under it. The smaller size did bind a tad in the shoulders, which is fine for my purposes. If you ski, you probably want to follow Columbia's size recommendation for the sake of unrestricted movement. The fleece liner is a little stiff, but soft to the touch. It's a thinner liner than I expected. Maybe that's because you make a lot of heat when you ski. For me, it's a good windbreaker for walking on windy, merely chilly Texas days. I think it will work for our "cold" days if I wear a sweater! Note: I get cold easily, even by Texan standards.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bugaboo quality not what it used to be I purchased this coat in February 2016 from Sports Authority. It was a replacement for the Columbia Bugaboo 3-in-1 interchange jacket I had bought about 10 years prior and absolutely loved, but had a tear in the outer shell. This will likely be the last jacket I purchase from Columbia. The quality and attention to detail is very poor compared to previous versions. Things my previous Bugaboo jacket had that this one lacks: 1) Elastic on the sleeves of the inner fleece jacket to keep out the cold (useful when you buy up 1 size planning on wearing bulky sweaters in a Wisconsin winter) 2) An elastic pull cord at the bottom of the fleece to keep cold air from blowing up your back. 3) An inner security pocket in the fleece 4) An outside left breast zippered pocket in the shell 5) An outside sleeve pocket - really not missed, was never used. Things this jacket has that previous Bugaboo jacket didn't: 1) Omni-heat dots- completely negated by the lack of elastic built into the fleece cuffs. 2) The inner security pocket in the shell is zippered instead of velcro like the previous version. This is a nice feature, but somewhat negated by the lack of security pocket in the fleece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Coat for New England Winters I bought this coat for winter warmth. It's held up beautifully to wind and cold and freezing temperatures. I absolutely love it and definitely recommend it.
Date published: 2017-01-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with purchase It took about a week longer for the jacket to come in, which by the time it arrived the temperatures had risen to where this wasn't needed. Haven't been able to test it out in single digit weather yet but I am happy with the purchase thus far. True to size.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Winter jacket??????? A winter jacket? Bought this for my wife as a gift. The item is described as a winter jacket it is very thin and not warm at all. Maybe a winter jacket for Florida. It also is described as 3 jackets in one. All it is is a rain coat with a flimsy zip out liner. Either returning it or saving it if we ever go on a trip to the amazon in February. Don't waste your money unless you want a really expensive rain coat

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a heat bubble I love this coat!! I've currently had it for 2 winters in Chicago. I wore it ice skating when the wind chill was -40*F. After an hour of skating, I had to sit in the ice house to stop sweating before heading home. We're currently suppose to be a polar vortex and majority of the time, I'm only needed the fleece. I really only need the fleece until it drops to high teens or low 20s. Wind breaker by itself, lasts me till the mid-40s.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ripped within 2 weeks I have been wearing this coat for a only a few weeks and I went to take it off last night and the stitching came apart where the lining is stitched to the outer shell of the coat. Needless to say I am not thrilled that I already have to sew it after very little use. This is actually the 3rd Columbia coat I have owned and I never had problems with them years ago. Another frustration is how the fleece sleeves do not come off as easily because of how they are not permanently attached to the outer shell so you have to be careful when taking the coat off...very careful so it doesn't rip. I have been wearing a North Face coat prior to this one for years and thought I would give Columbia another shot. The coat is warm but not satisfied with function and durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat, almost too warm! Looks very good, nice colors. Wore to a 4 hour out door event that was cold and raining. So warm I had to unzip periodically. Love it!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks cheap, feels cheap This 3 in 1 is lighter than my spring jackets. I have never seen such a thin fleece. The "reflective" Omnheat lining makes it look like cheap foil/saran lining. I have seen better quality in Walmart and will be returning asap. I wouldn't wear it at 1/4 of the price. Too bad - my old Columbia jacket looked good and was a true winter jacket. Another expensive brand cheaped out.
