Love this coat and only thing I wish is it had another snap to make wrist more of a tight fit. Couldnt wear a sweater underneath as it's not needed and have to turn down or off heat in car because it's that watm

Worth every penny
I waited on doing a review until I could put this coat through a good dose of a New England winter, and it more than delivered. 15 F? Toasty warm. Almost a foot of snow and driving winds? Barely felt it. This coat exceeded my expectations for holding up against the weather. I sized up to a 2XL (I'm 5'5"/ size 18) and I had room enough for a light long sleeve sweater and hoodie underneath. My biggest issue with most coats is that they don't accommodate my "man arms" + layering but I was still able to zip up and move around with ease. Sleeves come almost to my knuckles and fit over heavy gloves without a problem. The zipper takes some getting used to, but no complaints. I like that I can shovel out my car and not be bothered with having to unzip my coat all the way so I can drive. Coat has a nice shape and I didn't find it boxy-looking at all. If you're on the fence about this coat, take the leap. Worth it!!!

Warm!!!
I wore this for a day of shopping at an outlet mall and it was very warm. It fits well and isn’t bulky so it doesn’t get in the way. One of the best coats I’ve ever had.

Very Warm, but hood issues
This coat is very warm and protects from the wind. I love the olive green color. The length really helps keep more of your body protected without impeding siting or bending over. My gripes aren't huge, but definitely something to consider. The fur lining for the hood is buttoned into the hood. When you pull the hood tight (to protect from wind) it gaps between the button holes. Wind comes whistling down my neck.I would almost wish that it would have been a zipper that fastened it to the hood. The sleeve cuffs do tighten, but you have two button options. I have it on the tightest setting and it still gaps a lot. I have not tried with gloves on though, so I can't tell you if that issue would be resolved with gloves. I also wish there was an inner secure pocket. Otherwise the coat is quite lovely.

Nice winter coat
I have had this coat for about a month and I have only worn it a few times so far, but it is very warm. It has insulation inside that reflects your body heat, so if you are looking for a good coat to keep you warm, this is the one to get.

Nice and warm
I purchased this coat because Columbia is a good brand and noted for warmth. I wanted a longer coat to cover my butt when I sat down in the car etc. It is long enough for this purpose. The only flaw I find is that the zipper is often difficult to pull up.

Comfy coat, roomy but fitted
I bought 9 coats online to pick one out, and this was the clear winner as soon as I put it on. I'm a size 16, 5'9", and weigh 210 pounds. I hate coats that are too tight but hate ones that make me look too big. I bought a 1x and it works perfect! This had a little bit of shaping so I didn't look huge, but the sleeves are long enough and I can raise my arms up and forward without it being tight or cutting off my circulation. The fur trim is removable without removing the entire hood, which is awesome. The hood has a soft flannel lining, which is nice and warm and cozy. This coat has no velcro, which is really nice for not snagging on my scarves and mittens (becuase I hate that). I know Columbia is a great brand and this does not disappoint. I splurged for a good coat because it seems coats are very "you get what you pay for" and I'm buying winter coats every year or two. This is not an inexpensive coat but it is really well made and should last a very long time, which is exactly what I wanted. I feel it's well worth the money. It is not a dressy coat, but I bought it in black to help dress it up a little for my work clothes, which it does.

Warm & Stylish
This coat is above all, super warm. I love the style as well. A couple of minor improvements would be to move the pockets to the side of the coat (not the front) as that is not a practical place to put your hands. However, the pockets are nice and big and able to hold a lot of stuff. I'd also suggest having one more setting for the adjustable cuffs to be even smaller.

I was not looking forward to a new coat because I feel that plus size coats for women fall into two categories: 1) keeps you warm but has a boxy style, 2) has form but doesn't keep you warm. This coat not only looks good on but keeps you toasty warm. I chose the grey color and have had multiple compliments. I sat outside in 30 degree weather for 4 hours at a football game and was cozy the entire time. The price for the coat exceeded what I typically will pay for a coat but maybe that's why I haven't been happy with a coat until now. You get what you pay for. VERY PLEASED with this purchase!

Nice warm Coat
I purchased this coat in grey. It arrived within a week of ordering. It’s a very nice and warm coat but unfortunately the 2X was wayyy to big. I purchased 2X because I had purchased a different style a few years ago in 1x and it was too snug.
